Randy just shakes his head. "Well, lets look around and see if it left anything useful. As much acid as was in it, most regular equipment is going to have been eaten away." He starts cautiously checking the oozing puddles for any interesting items. He's understandably reluctant to directly touch the stuff and uses an arrow to stir the remains.
You poke about the glow-lit cavern, and the tunnel that connects it to the area above, while avoiding contact as best you're able with any remnants of the creature that are puddled about. It seems that the fungal creature down here co-existed for some time with the hydra up above, gathering up remains of what it killed or scavenged, and bringing it down below for digestion. Many of the bones are cracked, gouges from hydra sized teeth evident. While hooves, antlers and claws indicate that a number of the prey items were creatures of the surrounding forest and mountains, there are also some mangled remains of armor and sheathed weaponry, most damaged beyond any use or value.
Of value, you find:
96 copper, 110 silver, and 79 gold
a pouch of assorted gems worth 108 gold
a silver necklace with an inset gemstone
a broken box containing a carved set of stone dragonchess pieces
a pair of handaxes with silvered blades, with runic etching on the blades
a small ivory box containing 7 large silver needles, found next to 4 similar needles
a longbow with limbs made of ridged black horn

Dornikal will look at the gems with interest, going through and admiring them and commenting, mostly to himself on their cuts and whether or not he thinks it was a good choice for the stone. He will pull out his polishing rag to brighten them up as he does this, praising Dumathoin for his creations as he does.
He'd also like to inspect the necklace critically, identifying the gem as he does.
Not sure what the roll would be: 19
The dragonchess pieces are worth looking at as are the handaxes, but definitely not as interesting.
In terms of the types of magic associated with them, the needles ping as transmutation, the hand axes as evocation and abjuration, and the bow as a mixture of conjuration and evocation.

The gemstone is one that Dornikal is not quite sure on, a delightful puzzle! Will Dumathoin's mysteries never cease? It's a somewhat translucent blue green, on an untrained eye might mistake for a type of jade, but he's reasonably sure it's not that.

"Needles? What are ye talking about? Aye think aye need to get this up into the light to get a better look! Lovely work, this necklace has some classical style characteristics common to humans here in the east but if ye look closely he'll see the twist here along the clasp is clearly following the dwarven style and here they've lightly filed edges with a hint of a twist like the elves prefer. They've masterfully brought it together with this gem! Bit tarnished though..."
The horns seem to be only minimally modified, unlike some horn bows where only a thin strip of bone is used. It seems to have a good draw weight, testing the string.

Randy has a growing realization that the black horns that make up this bow are from a black dragon. Not a fully mature one, but still...
Randy knows that black dragons produce an acidic breath, if the bow is enhanced through its construction with black dragon parts, it may have been done so to bear some remnant of that damage, and it certainly seems unharmed by any attempts of the fungus to digest it.

Randy looks stunned as he realizes what he's holding. "A black dragon bow...."
((Interesting thought: PW in combination with an acid arrow. Would the acid damage be converted to force damage or would the arrow blow up and spray acid all over?}}

Dornikal levers himself up and gives both gnomes a hearty slap on the back.
"We've done some good today! Let's go make sure Randy don't get eaten."
He'll prod at some stuff with his sword too, cus why not.
Investigation: 5
Ulmwin almost forgot about the most important part in an adventurers journey, and helps out.
Investigation: 22
Coljin will go into the lower parts of the caves/tunnels and search in the parts where the taller ones would have trouble reaching.
Investigation with a small prayer for guidance: 6 and add 1

Looking over at Ulmwin, Coljin asks, “Checking for magic or should I?”
If the other gnome doesn’t care to cast detect magic, Coljin will.
Ulmwin will gladly ritual cast.
The needles, hand axes and bow ping as magical.

He'll continue like this for a while.
Randy takes the bow and looks it over critically. "Interesting. May be time to upgrade. "
