Coljin agrees with the others who state it would be good to come back here time to time, if they find magic that allows that to occur easily. He would certainly like to see how the city and the religions here begin to flourish.
He also checks in on how much diamond dust he can get.
He wants to get more than enough to just do just one 'revivify' spell.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The elders take serious note of Randy's, and any other suggestions about the best way forward for the fledgling city state. One particularly wizened dragonborn tottles up and takes him by the hand as he speaks, patting his hand softly with their clawed hand.
"Think that foretelling was not just about you bringing the water and plants to the desert, but also the bringing of wisdom we need to make our people thrive. We know survival in desert, but survival among people, we have lost. Thanks for you Randerwaith Buckthorn."
The offcuts of Dornikal's work with Kreldoran's tower provide a fair bit of smaller fragments, both of diamond and ruby, which are useful to Coljin. Inquiring with the elders, he is able to get a total of 130 gold worth of ruby in dust or smaller sizes that can be ground up, and 512 gold worth of diamonds, most on the smaller side, as he doesn't need single gems or dust, just diamonds.
((Anything further before Galt and Tren are wed? Besides Dornikal presiding as their officiant, is there anything anyone else wishes to do or contribute to the ceremony itself before I type it out?))

Coljin has Ceremony readied and will cast the wedding part of that spell as a ritual. Giving the bride and groom a nice blessing for a bit.
(I know it only gives an armor class boost for a day, but I'm thinking it is more of a you can only do this once in your life, so it's a big deal and let's do the thing and make a deal out of it.)
Randy will help with the music side of things with some appropriate elvish songs. He can cast Protection from Good/Evil on the couple. ((Also temporary, but what the heck.))
((Once things are all setup and readied and the time arrives and they are situated in the spot the couple have chosen))
Dornikal stands dressed in his finest dirt brown robes before his friends. He makes sure they aren't touching yet, like he's told them is the custom.
He smiles up at one and then the other before clearing his throat and projecting to be heard by all in attendance,
"Trennifer, Galt. Ye stand here before meh today," he looks up at the sky, "under the wide blue sky to have your Oaths of Commitment and Obligation witnessed and certified. Aye think though, as aye've grown to know and care for ye both dearly in this short time we've had together, that ye have more than obligation and commitment bringing ye together before meh and those others gathered here. Ye have, despite-" His voice cracks and he coughs before continuing, "Adversity and hardship discovered something stronger. Like a mine in the deepest darkness can hold something of breathtaking glory when brought into the light."
He'll pull out his emerald and hold it to catch the light before turning to focus on Tren,
"Ye Tren are a precious gem, a wonder to look upon, but Galt is the light which shows yer full glory."
Turning to Galt he says,
"Ye Galt are a substantially rougher gem," he smiles at his friend, "and are nevertheless a treasure to hold, but Tren is the light which reveals yer true value."
Replacing his emerald he reaches out to take their hands and gently brings them together.
"Tren, if ye'd like to state yer Oath."
((After Tren gives hers he'd turn to Galt for the same then he has a bit more to say.))
The pair of them are dressed in flowing garments provided by the dragonborn, a light, woven material much finer than what they typically wear. Zokk convinced the trees and vines to grow into a shaded arch where the three of you now stand, flowers having been coaxed to bloom.
"Galt, I'd be lying if I said meeting you was love at first sight. Maybe hundredth or thousandth. But I'm glad we had that time to get to know each other. We've been through a lot, and I know I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you, and you wouldn't be here if it wasn't for me, so I'm forkin' gonna be by your side from here on out. You make me a better person just knowing you, and I look forward to becoming my best self. Hopefully before we're both too old to have fun."
"Tre--", Galt's voice cracks and he clears his throat and starts over, "Tren, I ah... Certainly didn't think I'd um be standing here, but I um. Forks and spoons, I had stuff I was gonna... What I mean to say is... um..."
He glances at Dornikal, as he butchers what he had prepared, then back at Tren. She squeezes his hands and he closes his eyes and nods. "Well, no one ever accused me of being good with words. But I love you. And I can't think of anything better than growing old with you. Wrinkles and all."
She rolls her eyes affectionately, and they both look to Dornikal.

Dornikal takes a deliberate step back from the pair as they finish their oaths, wiping tears that have been streaming freely into his chin stubble. He clears his throat again and raises his arms,
"Tren, Galt. Aye confirm ye are truthfully and lawfully bound to one another and one another's clans. With the blessings of Dumathoin, and before all those here as witness, go out into the world like two metals blended into a stronger alloy, granting your strengths to one another."
He looks to the crowd before gesturing that it is over and they should clap or something as he begins, against dwarven tradition, to clap himself.
He steps over to Szartha as the newly bound couple to stand and accept the applause however they'd like and loudly whispers,
"Aye think that is the most vulgarity aye've ever heard in one of these!"
Coljin and Randy impart their benedictions, and Randy and Ulmwin begin playing some music to accompany the couple as they walk among the cheering attendees and stand to greet everyone as they disperse. Yet another feast is planned for tonight, before you depart the following day.
Szartha shakes his head fondly. "Would you expect any different?"

Coljin doesn't go into much beyond doing the ceremony spell, not wanting to take the emphasis off of the couple or Dornikal's part in it.
As much as he is enjoying the festivities and the people, his heart is starting to long for seeing trees instead of desert plants. Knowing they will be leaving shortly, he is getting antsy to leave.
((Due to the magic involved in the creation of the oasis, there are trees here that are not typical desert trees, that have grown to mature height, and at least for now, seem to be buoyed up by the fertility of the oasis, while trees of that sort would not normally be able to germinate and thrive here.))
((On the topic of leaving, is the plan still for Kreldoran to pop you as close to Estmont as he reasonably thinks he can safely get his tower?))
Coljin makes certain that he hangs out in the shade of the trees he is familiar with and is missing a bit, checking to see they are doing well and doing his prayers under them and praying for their continued health and well being. He also talks to his young dragonborn friend who seems so in touch with nature and with some language assistance gives him a primer on how to take care of these not-native trees and vegetation.
((I think Randy's little berry buddy said something of that sort, but Estmont was in part the destination because it was at the far end of the Caravan Road, and is the typical first city that anyone goes to before moving north or south along the coast. But you've got a teleporting tower, so could conceivably go to any of the cities. I can dig up a summary and map at some point if there's interest in going elsewhere. We're also talking about a plan that was made 5+ years ago, so.... ))

Randy won't steal Dornikal's thunder and sticks to a supporting role in the festivities. After indulging a bit in the food that's safe enough for humans, he'll find the elders and go over fine details on setting up the settlement (gate barbicans, towers on the wall, arrow slits. Patrol sizes, numbers, and patterns. Street layout for troop movement, commerce, and defense). Knowing his time here is getting short, he tries to cram as much advice as he can in. He gives the dragon born some ideas about where to look for specialists they may need, (and in some cases specific individuals) as well as some of his trustworthy contacts ( such as the excellent Master Buckleberry and the Abbot at Circle Vale, and the redoubtable Anders at Oakdale, plus contacts along his normal routes in the human and elven lands) along with letters of introduction.
((Estmont was a destination that Tess and Holger decided on, with the goal of starting an acting troupe there? It's been awhile, hasn't it? Randy was willing to go along as "strange tidings and events" were happening that way. Then the All Mother drafted him and he's been trying to get the location of the Gate of the Worlds out of Kreldoran since. He's pretty sure he's not ready to tackle that job yet, but he'd like to know where to go when the time is right. I'd forgot about the hermit. [chuckle]. One too many of those berries I'd think.
It's been a heck of a journey! Probably comparable to a pilgrimage to the Holy Land during the Crusades. Unless Kreldoran's info warrants a change in plan, Estmont is still as good as a destination as any. I am thinking that we might want to definitely consider Ahim Adura for a base of operations if we decide to get into things like keep building. Could do a lot worse than a formidable population who feels beholden to us for our help! ))
((Dornikal wasn't around for most of the Holger/Tess times, so isn't probably aware of any plans. He is more concerned about getting information on what the other Greystones are getting up to but I doubt anyone else wants to make a jump to the dwarven lands.))
(Coljin has no definite needed plans. He is a bit homesick, but certainly isn't going to press for going for a visit at this time. When he finally finds some sort of magic item that he wants to gift to his village, he will want to visit or send it there safely somehow, but he has yet to find anything that he find worthy or useful for them. He would not mind going to a city with a larger temple to Mielikki, or at least travelling to somewhere where some of the higher ups in his church are, so he can get updates from them and see how the church is doing and what they might need from him!)
((Oh, it was suggested before, but Kreldoran has finished his work on the tower, and can burn spells to aid in the ceremony, eg, Tongues for those speeching, and could do the Telepathic Bond that he cast on the party when you were infiltrating the townhouse in Galistri, so it allows full mental communication between Coljin and his young acolyte, if the gnome wishes, as well as Randy and the Elders.))
