The second dwarf looks back from the flames just in time to see the large warforged bearing down on him, when suddenly he is slammed from the back causing him to stumble forward directly into the mace of the warforged

Golwing is up (still giving him a chance to pop in)

Golwing now able to see the room raises a hand towards the dwarf in front of Vulcan and reciting a word in elvish a streak of divine fire falls from the heavens towards it

Sacred Flame Dex save DC 18 fail it takes 7 radiant damage

Dwarf Dex save: 14

The streak of fire hits the dwarf causing it to glow bright white for a moment.

Gaetana its your go!

Seeing the dwarf by Anvil is in worse shape than the other, Gaetana turns her attention to him.  "Flax isn't in here, let's make short work of these dwarfs then follow that blood trail!" she shouts as she notches her bow with a new arrow..

Gaetana steps into the room halfway towards the fire so that Anvil is not hindering her shot to the dwarf and fires off two arrows at the dwarf.

You step up to get a clearer shot.  As you release the first arrow the updraft from the now engulfed table causes it to fly just over the head of the dwarf. You nock and fire a second time this one going just wide of him. Cursing under your breath you look around plotting your next move. 

The 1st dwarf moves around the burning table and heads straight towards the Dragonborn breathing flames. S it closes in on Vulcan Grunomar releases his arrow hitting true and striking the dwarf square in the chest. Its body recoils a bit but not a sound leaves its mouth as it swings its fist. 

Attack on Vulcan: 9 Damage: 14

Its fist glancing off Vulcan's golden scales. It immediately brings its other fist around for a second shot

Attack on Vulcan: 17 Damage: 13

You move with uncanny speed catching both strikes on your shield. 

This one connects, hitting you in your stomach. 

The 2nd dwarf will swing twice on the large warforged engaged with it.

Attack on Anvil: 17 Damage: 8

 Back to the top Grunomar, its your turn.

Gruno steps up to the side of the dwarf currently attacking Vulcan and attacks, "Allow us to help friends." He stabs at the dwarf twice with his short swords and then turns and points at the dwarf fighting Anvil, "Now brother, attack!" As he does this, a flickering ghostly form runs at the indicated dwarf and stabs it from behind with a ghostly weapon.

Grunomar slips up beside you Vulcan and in quick succession deals two strikes to the dwarf. What catches you, and all the others, by surprise is the specter that seems to run from Gruno and attack the other dwarf. 

Vulcan you are up to bat!

Vulcan peers down the dwarf with a scof, reels back his greataxe and with reckless abadon strikes at them and another swings comes at the dwarf. 

Using Reckless Attack 

Attack: 20 Damage: 9

Attack: 17 Damage: 15

Anvil pushes away the pair of attacks with his shield, then cocks his head to one side as he gets a closer look at his opponent.

"This one appears dead already," Anvil says. "Dead but not dead. An animated corpse perhaps. Possibly a zombie."

Not waiting to examine it closer, Anvil swings up hard with his mace, seeking to remove the head from the body of the dwarf. Almost simultaneously, the spectral mace floating in the air behind the corpse like dwarf slams down.

Action: Mace: Attack: 18 Damage: 8  plus 5  Divine Strike Fire Damage.

Bonus Action: Spiritual Weapon: Attack: 10 Damage: 9  

Vulcan you rear back and swing your greataxe, not a care in the world but the joy of battle, finding your target. You pull it free and swing again embedding it even deeper into the dwarf. The lack of blood finally catches your attention.

You all hear Anvil's words as he swings hard in an upward strike that is meant to remove the head of his target. The dwarf is briefly wreathed in divine fire as it stumbles back just enough to move it out of the way as your spiritual weapon strikes the empty space. 

Glowing steps forward and shouts "If they are zombies then we have to burn them, Vulcan can you summon anymore of that fire?" He will then weave his hands and recite the magic words that cause another column of divine fire to streak down and strike the dwarf engaged with Anvil

Off kilter from the strike of Anvil the dwarf is unable to dodge the divine force assaulting it. 

Gaetana its your go

Gaetana curses her longbow and throws it on the floor.  After recoiling from the specter that emerges from Gruno, she replies to Golwing, "I don't have any fire, but I do have this," and with a smile, she draws her rapiers.  She heads next to Vulcan and goes to pierce the zombie dwarf twice with her magical rapier and for good measure, once with her other one.

Attack: 21 Damage: 4

Using words that would make a Luskan sailor blush Gaetana drops her long bow and draws her swords as she moves up to engage the dwarf to her left. Her first swing goes wide as the dwarf sidesteps, but she quickly reverses direction and catches it across its upper torso, cutting a long line. And with practiced ease her second blade moves in a downward arc catching the recoiling dwarf before he can move completely out of the way. 

Recovering its footing from the 2 strikes from Gaetana the dwarf glares with its all white eyes directly at you Vulcan. You can feel a primal fear begin to well up in you.

I need you to make a Wis save please DC 15

As Gaetana gets ready for her next attack against the dwarf, she watches in horror as the slashes she just gave it slowly close up and disappear.

"Guys!!  We may have a problem here!  Is the damage you all are inflicting making a difference?  Mine is not!"

"Burn them," Anvil calls out to Gaetana. This is puzzling, Anvil thinks to himself. If Gaetana's rapier is imbued with magic and it still has no effect on these creatures, this will be difficult.

You easily catch both on your shield. 

Back around to you Grunomar. You hear Gaetana and Anvil shouting back and forth something about these things not taking damage and to burn them. 

Gruno will quickly sheathe a weapon and take a flask of oil from his pack. He'll then attempt to dash the oil on the nearest dwarf and then use the rest to pour a line of oil from the dwarf to the fire nearby.

Hmm. roll a general dex check for me to see how much you can get on the dwarf. Under ten it misses, 10-13 you get some on him but not really in concentration, 13-16 you get a good bit in one area that may light well, above 16 you soaked an area of him pretty good that will go up quickly.

Dexterity Check: 25

You put your weapons away with a practiced hand and pull out a flask of oil. Dodging around the dwarfs attacks you manage to pour most of the oil directly on the dwarf and make a nice line back to the flames which ignite immediately. The flame moves up the line till you see the back of the dwarf go up like an erupting gout of fire taking 6 (rerolling cause 1 damage is balls 4) fire damage (and he is now on fire till an action is used to put it out) (Go ahead and take inspiration for a neat use of items)

Vulcan you are up!
