Gaetana pauses, looking at the two options in front of them now that Golwing has lit a candle.  She focuses on her locate spell to see if that will help make the decision where to go.  Also, looking to the ground to see if the blood trail leads East or South.

You can still feel the weapon to the east, slightly north. Go ahead and make a perception check

Looking around the room you dont see any signs of the blood trail. You do however notice 2 figures up in the corners of the room behind you. Anvil you also seem to notice these figures. As you both turn to warn your team they let out a hiss and drop to the floor.

From both back corners of the room two dwarves move towards your group, these are a little different than the others you just fought. Their skin, while dull, doesn't have quite the same ashen tone to it. And these are definitely making noise, a hissing sound thru barred fangs.

Despite the surprise Grunomar is quick to react.

Gruno will move towards the creature on his right and attack.

Sulfas lets out a roar born from frstuation and annoyance ath pest as he enters a rage. Moves to oppsite creature as Gruno, swinging with his axe with reckless attack.

"It was supposed to be an easy job!"

"You're just annoying the nine hells out of me!" 

Attack: 2 Damage: 20 (should be attack: 12 but forgot +10)

Gaetana watches as her boys attack the two creatures that have seemingly appeared out of nowhere in the room they are in.  Man, she thinks, is this how it is going to be in every room we enter? as she engages the creature on the right along with Gruno..

First with w/rapier +1 Attack: 26 Damage: 10

Second w/rapier Attack: 17 Damage: 7

Bonus w/rapier +1 Attack: 22 Damage: 6

She then will retreat back 15', using her escape the horde feature - disadvantage on all opportunity attacks

OOC: when she is dual wielding she gets 1 bonus to her AC, doesn't show up on the sheet, so right now she has 17

Grunomar steps up to the creature slashing at it with one hand then the other, causing two furrows to appear in its body. 

Vulcan roar echos throughout the room as he angrily yells at the figure that dropped down towards them swinging his mighty axe. The first shot lands squarely causing the creature to recoil back as it hits the wall behind it. The creature very quickly dodges the second swing of the axe. 

Gaetana moves up next to Gruno and lightning quick gives two quick strikes with her rapier, the first swing it moves to the side but the second hits its mark. She then brings the second to bear and finds her target able to dance away from that one as well. Seeing the speed of these things Gaetana gauges the right moment and deftly slips away. 

As Gaetana steps away from it the vampire (cause obviously that's what these are lol) lunges at Gruno with clawed fingers attempting to grab him 8. The speed with which this creature moved was unexpected as it manages to get its hands on you Gruno (you are now grappled) and pulls you in as it opens its mouth and you see the fangs move in to bite you. 

Bite attack: Attack: 12 Damage: 4 piercing damage and 8 necrotic damage

Its teeth try to bite into you but as you struggle it finds only your armor and pulls back hissing at you (You can make a DC 13 strength save if you want to try and break out on your turn as an action)

You Vulcan see this vampire try to match your roar with a hiss, and it fails magnificently, as it attempts to grab ahold of you 11. You bat the hand away using the flat side of your axe and it brings its other hand towards you claws extended. 

Claw attack:7 Damage: 8

The claws scrape against your scales not able to pierce them. 

Anvil you are up. 

Anvil takes in the two dwarves for a moment, slowing his reaction to their presence.

"These ones have fangs," Anvil says. "Do you suppose the same affliction affects them but they are further down whatever path it takes them on?"

As he watches, he sees Gruno and Gaetana take on the creature in the northwest corner of the room and sees Sulfas turn on the one in the northeast.

He steps forward to join Sulfas, saying in a fairly monotone voice "Fariĝi dio frapu ĉi tiun."

Bonus Action - Casts: Searing Smite at 3rd level

Flickering flames of energy spread across his mace, which he then swings in hard against the gray dwarf.

Action - Mace - Attack: 13 Damage: 8  magical bludgeoning plus 2  fire damage from Divine Strike plus 9  fire damage from Searing Smite.

Stepping up you notice the fangs that are prevalent and their eyes have pupils, unlike the completely white eyes of the dwarves you encountered in the last room. There is also a hunger and anger plain as day on its face. 

You cast your spell and the mace ignites in bright flame casting shadows across the dwarf that dance as you swing unfortunately this one is fast and dodges the incoming blow causing you to strike the stonework behind it. 

Glowing looks back and forth between the two foes and turns toward the one engaged by Vulcan and Anvil and raises a hand calling down a streak of divine fire onto it. 

Dex save DC18: 14 Damage: 13 radiant

Unable to move well enough it screeches as its engulfed in bright divine fire.

Sulfas cocks his head to the side at the poor excuses of an attack, "This is how you kill!"

Gaetana uses her bonus action to cast Ensnaring Strike on the creature on the right.  She then runs up on him again with her rapier and attempts to pierce the pallid flesh and steer clear of the fangs

Attack: 16 Damage: 7

If the first attack hits, the vines surround the creature and it takes 1 piercing damage at the start of it's turn.  And my second attack is with advantage, so here is the second attack roll: 14

Gruno, you strain and will a final effort you break free of the vampires grip, as it steps back it bares its fangs at you again in anger.

Vulcan in a fury of swipes you strike the creature knocking it off balance and before it can recover you bring the greataxe down on it again. You can see a steady stream of dark red, almost black, blood running down its side.

Gaetana you whisper some words as you are running up to engage the vampire. As you slice thru with your rapier thorny vins sprout from the point of impact quickly entangling the creature  as it struggle in vain to get free. You reverse your swing bringing the rapier to bear for another strike that puts a nice cut directly down its face. 

Angry at you for getting free the vampire takes two swipes at you Gruno with its claws.

Attack1: 26 Damage: 10

Attack2: 13 Damage: 8

The first crosses across your chest, you can feel the claws pierce and tear your skin, the second rips down your side.

Fighting against the vines wrapping around it the thorns piece its undead skin, causing the 2 points of damage, (Str save DC 15: 10) but cant just cant break free of them.
