Aoi's first clinks from the Dragon's scales but the second punches into flesh.
Agnarr steps forth swinging his hammer two-handed and overhead. Lightning flashes from the head of the weapon and fizzes into the dragon moments before the blow falls.
The hammer crashes into Sharru-Ukin's head, between his eyes. The blow drives him down to the ground, where he lays, unmoving, unflinching, eyes staring into the void.
Agnarr had circled his hammer for a second blow but seeing Sharru-Ukin's unmoving form diverts it why, crashing his hammer down into the wooden planks of the ship.
'I... think...that... did it.' The Barbarian prince proclaims, panting as the electricity fizzles out as he drops his hammer back into its holder.
Hamish walks up to the corpse of the dragon, and crouches down beside the crushed skull, taking in the acrid scent of acidic bile leaking from its now still mouth. His mind flashes suddenly to graffiti he once saw in Haukberg, scrawled across the front of the house of a disgraced noble. He says in his hoarse voice, "Thus to all tyrants." He stands and starts walking back to look at the hoard.
Ida stares, almost in disbelief. "Is everyone okay? I know we are all tired, but is everyone physically okay? If so, I propose we have a few things to do immediately - we need to stay away from anything with that acid on it, we need to go through the horde, and we need to rest before returning to the ship. I know it seems inconsequential, but we need to go through that hord eand make sure everything that could possibly be or hide the Amulet is taken. Just in case we didn't grab the correct thing initially."
Darwin comes out from hiding and surveys the scene, also in a little bit of shock.
“Now that was something!”, he says whilst staring at the corpse of Sharru-Ukin. “Ok, let’s go see what we have to deal with”, he adds agreeing they should check the horde.
”You were very brave”, he sends to Caper as he feels the faerie dragon land on his shoulder.
Aoi idly follows the others back into the dragon's lair, still shocked that he had just helped slay a dragon.
"Never thought we'd kill a dragon when I joined you," he mumbles to no one in particular. "Never thought I'd kill a dragon at all though," he says, still somewhat dazed at everything that just happened.
Hearing Ida and seeing her begin searching, Aoi starts looking at everything carefully as well.
Hamish nods at Ida's words and starts looking through the treasure for anything of note, but only after pulling out the previously pilfered amulet and handing it to Agnarr.
'Yes, it is inlaid with the symbol of Hira' he says as he holds up the amulet to show the group. It looks similar to a cameo, with a obsidian or black background highlighting the gods symbol in marble or some other white material standing from it.
Throughout the room is general gold and gems, perhaps some chalices and jewelery of fine material.
On the altar there are more specific objects. A pair of boots with a small set of wings embossed on the ankle. A broom. A cloak, a staff, a satchel, a ring and shorts word. Where possible, these objects are used to decorate the Kobold skull that held the amulet, such as a ring around a fang, the cloak laid across the skull like a head scarf.
Darwin looks at the bag, his face creased into a frown.
"Well, it seems magical", he says sounding unsure.
Caper notices his expression, "I know what it is, it's a gate to the astral plane. Looks stable", he says telepathically.
"Really? What's on the other side", he asks, a wicked smile appearing on his face.
"Don't even think it", Caper says quickly.
Darwin opens the bag and holds it with one hand, "Come on, i'll keep hold of your tail and pull you out on the count of five", Darwin says persuasively.
Caper reluctantly agrees, and so he crawls into the bag with Darwin holding his tail and starting to slowly count.
As Caper returns to the material plane, he reports seeing a open space, smaller than the ship but still much larger than the bag had a right to carry. Several random mundane items are already within.
Darwin smiles and looks at the coins and gems and other items in the horde, "That sounds like just the thing we need".
"It is bigger on the inside, much bigger. We should be able to load up this treasure and take it with us".
He turns to the other items. "What do you suppose these are? Sharru-Ukin could obviously discern what it is magical", he says to the others, asking the same of Caper.
Aoi moves toward the altar and examines the boots with interest.
"I'm not exactly versed in magical items and their properties. Unless one of us is, we could always stow them in the bag and have them examined," he says to Darwin. Aoi gestures to the coins and gems all around them, "It's not like we're hurting for money."
"If it's safe, I say we pack everything into that bag or space. The money will come in handy, especially to help the crew once we get back to Haukberg. And then we can confirm we have everything the dragon thought was important enough to keep. Do you think it's worth exploring any other area of the ship?"
"I agree with you both, we should pack up and see what we have later", Darwin replies.
"Agnarr, this ship belonged to your people, do you want to look about before we leave? I expect you will want to return to your father as soon as possible, to deliver the cure?".
He then telepathically instructs Caper to go outside and make sure there are no surprises.

Aoi takes aim at the open wounds on Sharru-Ukin's body and lets his arrows fly.

The party re-enters the lair of the now deceased Sharru-Ukin.
"Let's all really focus on finding anything that looks extraordinary or old or valuable. We want to be safe in knowing we searched thoroughly."
Ida begins searching thoroughly.

Perception: 14 + 6 = 20
Darwin moves into the lair and heads over to the alter, looking to start with those items Sharru-Ukin himself thought of value.
"I guess Sharru-Ukin might have been mistaken, but I think he put the most valuable things here".
He looks across to Agnar, "How sure are you that amulet is what you seek? Have you seen pictures, heard tales?".
Investigation: 16+3=19

((Perception 17))
'Yes, it is inlaid with the symbol of Hira' he says as he holds up the amulet to show the group. It looks similar to a cameo, with a obsidian or black background highlighting the gods symbol in marble or some other white material standing from it.

Darwin picks up the satchel and takes a look inside, wondering why the dragon thought it to be special.
Darwin is able to identify that there is something magical about the satchel but not the exact nature.
Darwin looks at the bag, his face creased into a frown.
"Well, it seems magical", he says sounding unsure.
Caper notices his expression, "I know what it is, it's a gate to the astral plane. Looks stable", he says telepathically.

Caper fits through the opening to the satchel and suddenly Darwin is unable to access Caper's senses or communicate with him psychicly.
