Ida is contemplating how long it will take them to get back. She knows that it may be best to stay and sleep while they have shelter and protection. With the Kobolds and the Dragon, most probably avoided this area in fear. "I'd suggest we pack everything into the bag, clean and area to settle into and sleep. I'm hopeful most stay away from this in fear of the inhabitants so hopefully we can all eat some rations and sleep. Get an early start tomorrow and get back to our ship and see if it's ready to sail. What do you all think?"
“I could definitely use a bit of rest”, Darwin says now realising how tired he was.
”Do you think there is any worth in bits of dragon? I mean a tooth or scales or something? I wonder if the Duke or Antonius could make use of any of it”, he asks as he starts to load things into the bag.
'Dragon scales are crafted into armor in at least one legend. I would imagine it's venom pouch or whatever it stores it's acid in would be worth something to someone. Hel, I'd think you're right about the teeth and so on. I can see some puffed up noble paying good money for a trophy to display, or jewelry made of dragon.' Agnarr says idly, already unpacking his sleeping roll
"I guess the next question is, do any of you know how to harvest those things?", he says, before snapping oiut of his thoughtfulness and looking for his own bedroll.
Ida was also getting her bedroll organized after they packed all of the horde into the bag. "I'm by no means an expert, but between all of us we may be able to figure it out?"
Ida knows the basics of skinning and dressing wild game but has never paid much mind to keeping the skin in tact. Then there's the matter of the natural armouring effect of the scales, something she's not familiar with.
Hamish quietly helps with the setup of the camp, gathering some wood and getting a small fire going against the darkness. He ponders his own knowledge of skinning. The occasional animal they found in Haukberg, but never really anything like a serious hunter. He speaks up, "I'll take first watch. I don't feel too tired after all of that, so i think I can handle anything that might bother us without too much trouble."
'I'll take the second watch.' Agnarr announces as he nestles into his bed roll. 'If we each take two hours then only 4 of us will need to stand watch, and since Darwin's already asleep it seems he should be the odd man out tonight.' With that, Agnarr goes to sleep.
"That just leaves 4th watch for me then," Aoi says while placing his bed roll near the fire. "I have plenty of experience skinning, so I'll take care of the dragon on the morrow, unless we want to salvage some of the meat as well?"
Hamish suddenly looks curiously out at where the body of the dragon still lays. "Maybe a no on the meat. I imagine something so dangerous and toxic would taste good." He steps away from the fire and his companions nodding off to find a quiet spot where he starts to play with illusions dancing around him silently, tweaking their appearances and seeing how he can blend the effects together in his creativity.
"Goooooood Morning!" Ida says cheerfully. "I'd love to get moving, but it makes sense to strip the dragon if we are able. The armor alone could be fantastic for one of you. Aoi - how can we help?"
Hamish sits up suddenly, like a badly animated corpse. His normally ragged and thick hair sticks out in all directions in an unkempt and disorganized mess. He wordlessly rises and stretched before scrounging for some food, his face and silence clearly at odds with Ida's joviality.

Agnarr shakes his head, 'One Southern Isle ship is much like another. I'm ready to leave whenever you all are.'
Caper does not notice anything untoward outside.

Survival: 12
Ida knows the basics of skinning and dressing wild game but has never paid much mind to keeping the skin in tact. Then there's the matter of the natural armouring effect of the scales, something she's not familiar with.
Darwin know no more than Ida, and decides to give up on the idea and just go to sleep.
"Wake me when it is my turn to keep watch".
Who will be taking first watch?
Hamish quietly helps with the setup of the camp, gathering some wood and getting a small fire going against the darkness. He ponders his own knowledge of skinning. The occasional animal they found in Haukberg, but never really anything like a serious hunter. He speaks up, "I'll take first watch. ((Survival 15))
'I'll take the second watch.' Agnarr announces as he nestles into his bed roll. 'If we each take two hours then only 4 of us will need to stand watch, and since Darwin's already asleep it seems he should be the odd man out tonight.' With that, Agnarr goes to sleep.
Ida and Aoi, who has 3rd and 4th watch
"I'll take 3rd watch, wake me gently," Ida winks at Agnarr as she pulls something comfortable up under healr head to use as a pillow.
"That just leaves 4th watch for me then," Aoi says while placing his bed roll near the fire. "I have plenty of experience skinning, so I'll take care of the dragon on the morrow, unless we want to salvage some of the meat as well?"
(Survival: 14 + 9 = 23)
Hamish suddenly looks curiously out at where the body of the dragon still lays. "Maybe a no on the meat. I imagine something so dangerous and toxic would taste good." He steps away from the fire and his companions nodding off to find a quiet spot where he starts to play with illusions dancing around him silently, tweaking their appearances and seeing how he can blend the effects together in his creativity.
I need a perception check from Hamish.
Hamish hears a goose honk outside, otherwise nothing of interest occurs during his watch.
Hamish wakes Agnarr and crashes hard by the fire, used to sleeping in uncomfortable situations.
Agnarr assumes the watch, and notices a Goose wander past the opening in the hull of the ship. He thinks this odd but leaves it at that.
He wakes Ida to relieve him.
Nothing unusual happens during her watch, not Aoi's and dawn breaks over the swamps.
Darwin wakes up an stretches, looking around at the dawn light streaming in to the ship.
"No watch for me?", he asks the others as he gets to his feet.
"So, we planning on heading out straight away, or tackling this dragon again?".
He takes out his pan flute and starts playing a quiet melody.
"Goooooood Morning!" Ida says cheerfully. "I'd love to get moving, but it makes sense to strip the dragon if we are able. The armor alone could be fantastic for one of you. Aoi - how can we help?"
