As it gets warmer Sasha rolls up her sleeves and makes a trip to the water barrels after which she pays a visit to the quartermaster Cut-Throat Grok. "Mind if I rest in the shadow here for a moment? That's an awesome scar you got yourself, anyone who survived that would have to be one tough pirate." Sasha says to the half-orc, giving her an appreciative look. Persuasion: 23
Grok runs a finger along the scar, eyes staring off into the middle distance remembering the day it was received. "Oh aye...but it probably wasn't as bad as it coulda been. 'Twas only 11 when a captain found me stowed away the Risen Albatross and decided to run me up a yardarm. I was a scrawnier reed then than I am now, so the rope burned and cut, but it didn't manage to kill me. A tougher, stronger pirate probably woulda died. Captain Fane was impressed so she decided to keep me on as crew. That was years ago now though. Better and worse times I suppose." Her eyes come back to focus and she smiles at you wistfully.

"Not stepping up this time, huh?" Vireil plops from the rigging, landing next to Deket. She does not add anything, simply walking away to accept her rum. She was planning to spill it, but... having received it from one of the other new recruits, who (presumably?) gives her some kind of sign, and noticing it looks strange... Vireil decides to drink it anyhow. Spilling it would probably be easier, but if she drinks it, she can make sure the officers notice, and she does. She waits for a moment when one of them is watching, then she downs the liquid as quickly as possible. Better not have the taste linger too long.
Con save for the new liquid: 1+(1/0?)=Too low.
Vireil almost pukes on deck, though. From the frying pan into the fire, this is by no means any better. The horrid taste. How can people enjoy these substances? At the very least, she hopes, her body is too small to contain both poisons at once. Perhaps one will be potent enough to end the other.
Con save for the addiction: 8+(1/0?)=8/9. Does it pass? I'm neither sure whether the -2 effect happens before or after the roll, nor whether the DC is 7 or 9, considering two days have passed since the last time Vireil drank the drug, which was also the first time.
Vireil stays around for just a bit. She thinks about watching Rosie throw - from the side, making sure Rosie notices that Vireil is true to her word - but when her stomach starts to ache, she realises it's going to be a short evening. That's it. That was the last time she's drinking anything but water on this ship, even if it means she's getting whipped.
Sasha listens to Grok's story, nodding as she tells it. "Well, now that you mention it Grok, I was thinking if we were to actually to do some pirating one of these days I would be a much better pirate equipped with those daggers and the leather armor that I wore when I was recruited to the Wormwood." She says with a smirk.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Sasha watches again in anger the sadistic punishments dealt out to Ringer, Jonah and Rattsberger. Later she tries to have dinner in company of the others, including Samms and Conchobhar. As she realizes the Rum is now all but undrinkable she decides to try and spill it into the sea as Samms possibly helps her by distracting any officers in the vicinity. Stealth check: 15 She then asks for more rum, real rum this time. Rum con save: 8
As she eats she tries to converse the others, thanking Ringer for making the swill eatable. After dinner Sasha starts telling those who would care to listen of more adventures of the Furious Kraken and it's fearsome captain Barth Blackstorm, plundering, evading pirate hunters, fighting sea monsters and discovering fantastic treasures. Samms and Concho and maybe even Grok sits and nods and gives approving sounds "Hear, hear! Performance: 21 (+2 for freinds) Lucky reroll on performance to hopefully improve reactions: 4

Your tales of the Furious Kraken have become a nightly fixture on the fore-deck. Even members of the crew that are clearly aligned closer to Mr. Plugg and Master Scourge have begun making appearances and begrudgingly listening to the tales.

Deket is again leaning over the barrel at the forward bridge but this time he says nothing. He, instead, tries to read the reactions of the members of the crew at the punishment.

After Mister Scourge talks to Arloch he approaches him. "Don't you worry I will try to give you hand in your additional work. " he tries to reassure him " Now that I finally got that stupid drug out of my system I am feeling much better now".
Less of the crew jeers and cheers for these punishments than they did for the ugly entertainment that was the climbing on the first day, but there are still a few that do, either because they are sadistically entertained or just to curry favor with Scourge. Master Scourge himself does show a great deal of pleasure from doling out the punishments though. If anyone on the ship is a sadist, he is definitely at the top of the list.
Sandara is nearby when the punishments are doled out, but averts her gaze from the actual punishment itself. Maheem and Lonegan watch on impassively while Jaundiced Jape nods in time with the bashes. Despite him getting punished just yesterday, he apparently agrees with this iron hand style of discipline.

"Thanks Grok, I won't forget this." Sasha says and gives the quartermaster a firm handshake and a nod as she gets her stuff back, sneaking it all down under her hammock for now.
When Sasha is finshed with the nights tale-telling she hangs out with Samms and Sandara, making sure to give some sympathetic words to Ratline Rattsberger over the roping he clearly didn't deserve. She also seeks out Arloch at one point, thanking him for his concern but suggesting she could deal with the rum as she is used to after many years as a pirate.
Grath left to check on his new "acquaintance", Cog, for a brief catch up and see if he can squeeze some personality out of Cog. As he is walking towards where Cog is, Grath sips his rum ration. He can't care for the rum's taste tonight. It has a foul after taste that he never tasted/experienced before, nor can he identify. He can't even finish drinking it, his stomach starts to turn uncontrollably and he is minutes away from saying hello to it.

Grath, You find Cog with a group of other sailors on the foredeck, reveling in a story from Sasha about how the Furious Kraken once actually escaped the grasping tentacles of an actual Kraken. Some of the crew seems to disbelieve her, but Conchobhar sits in judgement just slowly nodding along. But then he might be in on the joke.
As you walk over, Cog looks you in the eye. "You don't look so good sailor, About to lose that piss poor excuse for a dinner? Sit a spell and let it all settle, or maybe head to yer hammock and sleep it off."

Nothing was going to save tonight's dinner. All of his divine magic together couldn't give this ghastly food any flavor. He tried to take a bite but couldn't even stomach it, so decided not to eat any of his food whatsoever. He quickly gives a somber "My apologies for dinner..." as he hands out what shouldn't even be called food in his mind.
Looking at the bottle of ooze he had accidentally concocted with his magic upset his stomach as well. So he takes all 4 bottles as well as some bowls and tucks them away in one of the wooden cupboards around. He hopes Ambrose is too drunk still to really notice, but nonetheless tries to play the whole thing off as if he was just putting away normal things in the cupboard.
Deception: 20
When Arloch hears Scourge berating Ambrose, he tries to stay as far away from that scene as possible. He felt for failing and ruining what could have been decent, but he also felt Ambrose had gotten themselves into that problem to start.
Deket is again leaning over the barrel at the forward bridge but this time he says nothing. He, instead, tries to read the reactions of the members of the crew at the punishment.

"I appreciate the gesture. I was never much of a soldier to Merfolk. I can only imagine what Scourge has in store. Glad to hear you've gotten over that pickle. Nasty stuff this all is," Arloch replies with a weary look in his eye. You can tell he felt bad about serving any of this to all of you.
Jonah receives his beating unflinchingly. He has more important things to think about, and the blows fall off his back like water off a duck's. After receiving the "rum," Jonah takes one sniff at the stuff and makes a face. The stuff is completely undrinkable. In fact, given its consistency, it's more edible than it is drinkable. Still, regardless of its state of matter, Jonah wants nothing to do with it, and promptly pours it over the edge after returning to his ordinary corner.

To owlbear:
"Sure big guy. Trade. Thank you"he doesn't want to offend him so he takes the fish to dispose of it later. After saying goodbye to the big man, Deket walks down with his half rotten fish. His first idea is to put it under Jape's hammock but then he thinks better and make a fast visit to the bilges and let the fish there, hanging from the pole of the stairs. That way it can't be eaten by the rats during the night and the smell wouldn't make him sick. If anyone was assigned to rat hunting tomorrow they could improvise a trap using the dead fish as bait.
He finally goes to his hammock and gets ready for next day.
Jonah, you have successfully made it into the lower deck where the hammocks are without anyone noticing. You probably have about an hour and a half or 2 hours before pirates start coming down to bed to work on your hidden compartment under your hammock. You do see one crew member that has taken to their kip early, but since it is Viriel you doubt she will be rushing to tell Scourge that you are up to something. Make a woodworking tools check (INT or DEX) to begin work. This will be check 1 of 3 needed to complete the project. (Viriel, feel free to RP with Jonah a bit. You could provide him with advantage on his roll if you want to help, but that would mean not getting the sleep early action...otherwise you just chat for a bit before trying to go to sleep amidst the sound of him quietly chopping and scraping wood.)
(Deket, you might be wondering...since you did take a night time action rather than going to bed early you won't be down for about 90 minutes or so...That deep philosphical conversation with Owlbear about the value of goods and the nature of barter...right? :P )
_______________
Arloch, between his state of inebriation and the rush of getting food handed out Ambrose does not notice you shoving stuff in cupboards. There may be an interesting coversation in the next day or so when he comes across the strange liquid. (No check was required in this instance, but I appreciate the proactiveness of giving one just in case, you may proceed to taking a night time action of your choice).
(I think the only other nighttime action we haven't captured yet is Ringer, right?)
Since Pluck is a mundane Parrot, animal handling would actually be the appropriate skill...as such I will take the 12 but just switch over the skill use.
Pluck looks at you with one large grey/yellow eye as you use some of the epithet's you picked up from Grok on it.
"Pfweet! Scurvy Dog. Pfweet! Throw ye in the box."
The bird leaves its perch on the poopdeck and flies towards the aft of the ship where you see it fly into the door of the Captain's Quarters. Your attempt to get on its good side does not seem to have had any noticeable effect for the time being.

Ringer doesn't feel much like singing tonight, taking his drum up towards the poopdeck where he notices Pluck.
When the parrot starts cursing at him, he listens in fascination, and responds with a few curses of his own.
Persuasion: 17 (if Performance would be more suitable, +2?)
