Taking about 15 minutes Yanda leads Nobody northwest to a spot near a wagon. He sees two beautiful human women cooking dinner, around a fire. Twins with long flowing buxom blond hair in their twenties. Yanda points to the spot near a tree, then on your command leaves back to the spirit lory, to find the group.
Nobody looks around and finds that this wagon, camp, is a bit further away from the camp alone, out of sight of the others.
What are you doing while waiting, alone in the dark Nobody?
Fargen sees Yanda the winged monkey fly into camp and immediately thinks What did Nobody get himself into? The dwarf trots over to Kissa and rouses her, "Sorry las, afraid your turn to watch guard came a bit early. Me and Thufir need to head off and check on Nobody. If we need you, we'll send the monkey back."
Fargen bellows to Thufir, "Hey ho, we may have some excitement tonight. Let's go!" He follows Yanda..
Thufir blinks awake and sits up, looking to Fargen and then his gear asking, "What kinda excitement ya talking?" Though regardless of the answer is ready to explore and see what's around, so begins to follow as well, stretching as they walk.
Yanda, reaches the group and beckons, the best it can do in talking "Who who ho ha ha" Millie comes out of the lory and says to Kissa seeing the others sneaking off.
"Can't sleep. If you want to go with your new friends, I'll keep watch."
You hear some rather loud snoring coming from the lory.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
With the exception of his hair, Nobody hadn't feared being immediately spotted by the twins, but that hadn't kept his tail from lashing the air nervously behind him once Yanda was beyond even telecommunication range. A mental facepalm for not having written some note to worry the group not only further aggravated the tiefling. Yet even in his growing moodiness had he refrained from making his presence known. Not even to utter the few words and wave his focus for a spell he'd originally had in mind to aid in his investigation.
Ultimately, he only just suppresses a sigh and looks again to the tree Yanda pointed out. And if getting to it in without entering the campfire light was possible, then he'd try to sneak his way over to study it more closely for any odd markings upon it, if not odd scents about it that might suggest a portal or alternate conjuration magics of some kind having been previously at play near it.
IF however it seemed impossible to reach his destination without being detected, he'd try to find a spot -- a bush, another tree, or some other convenient cover in the dark that might allow him to observe the two women for at least the next thirty minutes or so, searching for any peculiarities about them during that time. Such had been his plans at least until -- no. There was to be one addendum to the plan if at least within 30ft of the pair, and that is to clasp a copper piece in his pocket and open his mind to the surface thoughts of one of the twins at first. That is, at least read them for the next 40 or so seconds, before deciding whether or not to dive deeper.
(If any stealth roll is needed, see the above spoiler as well. Same for investigation)
(Subtle Casting the hilighted spell with 1 sorcery point. If he's ever caught as well, his first instinct would be to casually still cast it with Subtle Spell Meta magic)
Subtle Spell
When you cast a spell, you can spend 1 sorcery point to cast it without any somatic or verbal components.

You get within spell shot and start reading minds "Who, is Arietta going to be tomorrow?" Arietta thinks then cringes, and says aloud "Zelina, are you reading my mind again? You know I don't like the feedback!" Zelina shakes her head "No Arietta" then she starts looking around, but staying by the fire.
Nobody eyes widen just a tad bit at the duo's interaction, and a growing temptation had him rubbing his chin and contemplating an undoubtedly risky action. It wasn't as if he didn't have an escape button should things go wrong, but...
'If they're responsible and have this mental link between them, could be...'He let's the thought hang there for further investigation of the area(or as much as he could without revealing himself). 'Gone. Just as Yanda said. And they're not so far away that noone wouldn't have heard a struggle, meaning...' Once again he let the thought trail off, if but this time out of a desire not to even finish the thought, especially if by some means he'd be overheard.

Nobody slips away from the twins, with his passive insight he moves even further down the path he took. As he hides in the woods he sees a small creature with wings awkwardly heading to where he was not be able to see well. Three more larger humanoids, following. Not sure how stealthy they are, but they are heading to the spot you once were.
If Nobody is able to see them, or at the very least see/sense Yanda, he redirects his flying compatriot to his new location after having him stop, look back to the party, and put a finger to his mouth in shhing motion just before hand. An impossible ask of course, Nobody knew, but he hoped all the same that the clap of a certain Dragonborn's butt cheeks wouldn't draw too much attention. And if it -did- do so, then hopefully its well before they expose the tiefling in the process!
If by some miracle all went well enough that he could wave them into a huddle, Nobody whispers to the group, "I think I figured out in part what happened. B-but we'll want to tread carefully. Those woman further ahead are... they have some sort of telepathic link to one another. And if that's the case, odds are th-there mental prowess a-aren't limit to just that."
Fargen listens to Nobody's report. "Suspicious. So you think they're abducting folks and not as they seem? Catch them in the act or expose them, I say. What does your divine sense tell you, Thufir? Shall we engage them in conversation or wait and watch?"
Nobody looked to Thufir with furrowed brows, only to opt to shake his head in dismissal. "I-I, uh, sorta put them on edge rooting around a bit up here." He whispered to the group, then taps the side of his head. "So, I doubt we'll catch them in the act with anything 'fore it's time for us to leave. A-and if they intend to follow the caravan, well..." He looks down and took hold of his tail. "O-one mentioned, uh... well, not mentioned, but w-were kind of thinking like they could pretend to be others? So, if were to do something, it's probably best to do it tonight. I-I'll cover anyone that wants to approach, as it's probably best they don't see me."
Kissa had very little idea what was going on but the Ancestors had marked Nobody as somebody she should stick close to.....so she was involved regardless.

Kissa shrugs and follows the other two, " Are you mob always this active in the middle of the night?"
Fargen gives Kissa's remark a brief chuckle, "I do some of my best work at night. Sometimes it simply takes a stoking of the fire..."

With your investigation you find a few humanoid foot prints, other than than what belongs to the two women, none lead out.
Timewise I'd say the group is about two minutes away. But Yanda is still out of mind shot.
