"It's fine," Baltus says sounding annoyed as he gets into the wagon's jumpseat after the dwarf climbs down. "The sooner we leave this den of thieves the better," he adds helping his sister climb up beside him. "Please everyone in the wagon," he calls out. "We should make camp by nightfall if we hurry," he then adds gesturing for all of you to board the wagon.

"My eyes work well I'm the dark so I'll rest now." says the paladin, settling in and getting a bit more comfortable. He doesn't remove his helm but does unsling his shield and carefully places it by his side, after adjusting his scabbard to allow him to sit whilst wearing his longsword. Within moments he appears to be asleep.

Vhon - Level 2 Warlock - What shall become of the Drunken Sailor?
Traveling north along the coast line from Hagar it's mostly sheer chills falling into an angry gray sea blow. Spring storms wreak havoc on the area, you know, but thankfully it's hasn't begun raining yet. After an hour or so on the road with only the dimmest light of the lantern Baltus lit about an hour ago the sun long since disappeared in the cloudy, moonless sky. Baltus turns the wagon off the road towards an abandoned windmill just up a slight incline a good 100ft from the road.
"It's not much but it'll keep us all dry," Baltus explains as a crackle of lightning streaks across the sky lighting it up temporarily before a rattling crash of thunder ends it's flash.
Rasmus and Krayne the thunder wakes you and you find your companions getting off the wagon in front of an imposing ruin of a windmill.
"I can get a fire going," Brida says going inside the structure first having lit a torch before entering it.
OOC: I know Nat 20s are green. If you guys want to set up a watch discussing here in character or player to play in the group PM.
Ursal: Yes you see a pile of wood already collected sitting next to the far wall of the windmill. There seems to be enough fuel to keep the hearth alight for en entire night.
Baltus takes care of the horses and wagon at the back of the windmill hidden from the road. Although the windmill is on a hill which has an excellent vantage of the road the windmill is so large it can be seen for miles around in the day time.

'' With a fire going here we'll probably be seen from afar easily enough, I say we set a watch. I'm well rested I don't mind taking the first spell while the rest of you sleep. ''
Krayne looks around the structure, assessing the benefits of various places from where to keep watch.
OOC if there is more than one access point he will decide to patrol through his watch, trying to cover all possibilities but if there is only the door he will be there keeping guard.

The windmill is a open space with a stone hearth directly opposite the front door. The interior is made of rough cut stone, the floor is wooden but dirt too. Along the wall near the steps is a narrow wooden stairwell vanishing into the second floor that's about 10ft above your heads. There are two windows on this first floor. They are both narrow one facing the side of the tower where Batlus put the horses and wagon while the other gives a clear view of the hill down to the road. The only door is hanging by one hinge but can be closed and propped in the door frame.
OOC: Ursal if you'd like to make a survival check with advantageto look for food outside the windmill to make for dinner you're totally welcome to roll!

OOC: As the dice has decided! Rations seems to be on the menu this evening. Brida is putting out a spread of dried meats, gathered nuts, and a cheese made from her goats. She also offers some dried fruits as well. It's a small spread but everyone will be able to eat without dipping into their own rations. Everyone is responsible for drinks from their waterskin or if you bought another beverage!

Viktor takes out his spider and walks over to each window in turn and helps the spider to spin a simple web in each, and then to run tension lines back to a central location on the underside of the floor above.
"Azondi can help keep watch all night."
Viktor indicates the spider sitting at the centre of the tension lines.
"She will be able to tell if anything tries to enter via the windows and can wake me if needed."

Ursal clambers on board and sets his gear in the corner. He takes out his crossbow, loads it, and puts his case of bolts next to him.
"Thieves," he grunts with a laugh. "They won't stand a chance. I'll keep a look out while the light lasts."
[OOG: I'm assuming it's just a wagon, without a cover.]

"Let's pair darkvision folks with non darkvision folks. Darkvision folks patrol and human guards others by the fire. How's that sound?"
Ursal looks around for confirmation.
"I already have my crossbow out so I'll take first watch here."
Ursal puts his crossbow across his lap and warms his hands over the fire.

"I will take the next watch with either Baltus or Brida if you like. Then perhaps our cleric can take the the watch after that with whoever is left?"
"My name is Viktor, for those that don't know. Any chance I could get your names?"
Viktor indicates to Ursal, Krayne, and Rasmus.
