OOC: My impression was Pyra fell asleep on her round of watch slumped against the house facing the entrance and road. Ursal heard, but did not see, anyone outside whom he chucked his javelin at hence why he hit no one. The party is now outside the burning farm house giving off enough light for 60 ft directly around the farm house is low light but beyond this it's black, a moonless night. There is one group running, that you know of, running down the road away from the house which is the only 'group' some of y'all have seen.
Pyra: Please read below then I need you to make a WIZ save against DC 17.
You stand up and can see four hooded figures running down the road in the distant, one seemed to be hurt however and another of the men helping him walk. They are behind the other two who do not seem to be willing to help the with the injured figure. You also can hear a soft hissing noise coming from behind you n the side of the burning house!

While moving after the figures, Viktor will let off an Eldritch Blast (120ft range) at one of the figures.

"Bridda! What was that?" Krayne pauses for a moment torn between chasing after Viktor and checking that the twins and the others are ok. "Ursal, I'm going back to see what happened, don't let Viktor go off on his own. Where in the hells are Pyra and Soren as well?" With that Krayne turns back and heads towards the sound of Bridda's scream
I'm trying not to metagame it here, obviously Pyra is being petrified and that means our old friend the medusa is about. But as Krayne doesn't know that I'll leave it to AA to determine whether or not I would encounter anything on my way back to Bridda and the others. It seems to me like a 50/50 whether Krayne would go round the house on the side Pyra is on or not.

As Viktor is feeling a rising frustration as those he is pursuing slip into the darkness, the scream and crashing sound, stop him cold. Viktor spins around, seeing Krayne starting to head back. Viktor asks Ursal
"what was that?!"
Viktor runs back towards Ursal with the intent to go with him to catch up to Krayne.
Viktor scans the burning farm house, looking for an explanation for the sound and the scream. (OOC: Viktor thinks the crash may have been from the house and that Bridda may have been hurt)
Perception check to notice anything to do with the house or anything around it: 13(OOC: I assume we can see the house and its immediate surroundings as it is burning)

No I'll allow it. I'll say you knew you tossed the javelin out the NW corner and the building is burning giving you better visibility. Please roll a perception check.
Kryane you see in the light of the burning farmhouse there are four heaps on the grass outside the firelight. It seems odd too like hovering above then are shadows surrounding the piles that are indistinguishable at the distance you're at. As you get closer however your sense of evil goes wild! Its hanging in the air, that raw metallic taste. Moving closer still the first shadows disperse and the heaps are revealed. The first the druids, dead. Sybil is also near by, dead. Then Soren however who's ragged breath you hear coming closer you see the Valkyrie has received a fatal blow. Looking around again it hits you, the twins....they're NOWHERE to be seen!!
Viktor catching up you see the same scene as Kryane...both of you please roll initiative!!

You hit the straggler but he's still running and disappears into the darkness further down the road.
The entire party then hears a crashing sound and a scream from Bridda before another crashing sound...
