"I thinks he's wonderful," the girl marvels at the spider and it's golden web.
Rasmus you don't hear anything out of the ordinary, you and Brida spend your watch quietly listening to the storm but you fall asleep before your watch ends leaving Brida alone who remains alert the entire time.
By dawn the storm finally breaks and it's a blustery wet morning. Brida begins cooking breakfast, a simple porridge. Everyone wakes to the smell as well as the chill in the air of morning.

Ursal goes to warm himself by the fire and stretches his limbs to work out the kinks in his muscles from sleeping on the ground.
He takes a bowl of the gruel, slurps it down quickly, then retrieves his crossbow
"I'm off to hunt for game and gather fresh water. I shouldn't be long."
He turns and leaves, striding by the horses to make sure they are okay.
Perception 12
OOC: Ursal will use the Wanderer feature from his Outlander background, which allows him to gather enough food and water for up to 6 people, including himself.

Krayne rises, seemingly more at ease this morning with his companions. He leaves his helm off as he checks his gear, the light that had seemed to come from him isn't obvious now.
He balances the shield and kneels in front of it, he prays in silence for a couple of minutes, ending the prayer by touching the symbol at his throat and then the flame on his shield. As he rises the light behind his eyes flashes brightly for a couple of seconds.
He then eats his breakfast in silence, thanking Brida when he finishes.
Brida is mothering to all of you! She make sure everyone gets seconds if they're wanted and you see she even coaxes her brooding brother from the stables and to join the group to eat. As you all sit eating Brida explains that Ursal went out to catch/gather road snacks and lunch!
Ursal while you're out your able to find an early fruiting tree it seems like apples but when you approach the scent is oddly more like cherries. You are about to collect a 1/2 bushel of ready fruit the first of your fist! You also catch three rabbits and a couple quail looking birds. All and all a good haul for your first wander for the party! You return with your haul to the delight of Brida who thanks you heartily with a kiss on the cheek helpling you take the food to the wagon and pack it correctly. Baltus mumbles a thanks while swiping an apple like fruit which he explains to you is a Jazella which he splits in half giving one half to each of his horses before hitching them up to the wagon.
Viktor and Ursal gain inspiration for staying awake during their watches! You way use it on three future attacks, skill checks, or saves!!
OOC: Anyone have any business before getting back on the road to Stokkr?

Rasmus keeps his gaze down toward the floor and accepts a meal from Brida. He compliments her porridge and decides he's full enough for the moment and does not accept an apple.
Viktor enjoys the warm breakfast and then stands and casts a spell. he raises his hand above his head and snaps his fingers. a wave runs down his body and dust and dirt comes away leaving him clean. (Prestidigitation)
"if anyone else would like a quick clean, let me know, other wise I am ready to head out"
The group gets back on the road. It's an easy road for the first half of the day. The party gets to know everyone a little bette, Brida is particularly more chatty than Baltus. Brida explains the village of Stokkr although small produce boats used to sail moving goods around the great sea of Ægisson. The village itself is full of hard workers and ratherly seen trouble but for the beast stalking them now who's stolen her father who you can tell she still believes is alive somewhere. The party give the horses a break midday to rest to be watered and feed but Baltus explains the village should be reach in late evening if you push on through the rest of the day.
OOC: Does everyone agree to push on? If so I need everyone to roll a CON saves against exhaustion to keep on the road through the day and after sundown.

Everyone but Brida and Viktor manage to stay alert during the arduous trip to Stokkr, the moon is up but barely giving off light through the overcast night sky. Approaching the village you see torch light! There is now a wooden palisade midway into construction and four watchtowers visible. Baltus calls out to a human man who calls back in a language no one understands (Opportunity for everyone: roll a 100 sided and call high or low before posting with no edits to see if you speak the ethnic language of Norse-like peoples of this pocket world). After this brief exchange you get a sense that the man on the watchtower is surprised to see Baltus again as well as you with him! Baltus however does not approach the gates now blocking the road (picture Bree in LOTR) but veers away from it skirting the timbers already raised to the north and west of town as well as a foul smell that none of you can quiet take (opportunity nature check), Baltus however remains unmoved while Brida sleeps on. Batlus takes this beaten earth path away from the village and it's protecting walls which is very unlike the road you've traveled from Hagar. The road from Hagar was clearly made with purpose, this path is barely a path at all! Baltus explains the path is a shortcut to his family's farm skirting the wall that was being built by the chieftain from Haakon a peace offering for their lost livestock and their father. The cheiftan however would not spare his guard which is what the village really needs. Baltus takes this path further north beyond the village. Brida continues to sleep beside her brother as the wagon continues to bump along this rough trail inclining now northwest of the village. You can smell the sea but the path takes the party inland from the coast that Stokkr hugs. The road from Hagar would now be south behind you now and the village of Stokkr is to the east. It begins to quickly disappear from view as the torches on the palisades maned by villagers making the only visible outline of the areas the torch is able to illuminate.
OOC: Questions? Actions? Also everyone roll perception, those without dark vision roll with disadvantage. Viktor you have 1 point of exhaustion so all saves, attacks, and skill check will be made with disadvantage until you have a long rest.
P.s. NPCs will usually only make rolls the will effect their abilities in combat if it should take place. Y'alls rolls have aLL the narrative control!!
"We never found a body," Batlus corrects you about his father Viktor before leaving the windmill.
The rest of the watch passes without incident. Baltus wakes Brida for the final watch as well as Rasmus. Viktor and Batlus return to sleep.

"hhmmm, what smells so good? oh nice, a warm breakfast!"
Viktor checks on Azondi
"how are you doing my dear, catch many bugs last night?"
Azondi descends from her web to land on Viktor's shoulder.
"so, anything happen last night? hey, where is Ursal?"
Viktor looks around the windmill for Ursal.
