Vivien would listen to Crispen, her blue eyes suddenly growing wide as she hears his tale and the paper setting down before her. She studies the list and sure enough, finds her family name. She'd continue to read, hearing the captain's retort as she seems fairly invested. All of a sudden, the capten hands her a glass tube in which she'd study its contents. "You are not wrong..." She'd mutter as she studied.
19
As she studies the vial, her concentration breaks upon hearing the shouting from the captain. The noble, face a bit flushed from all the feelings and thoughts dwelling inside of her, especially after that last comment. She would stand to her full height, eyes looking down upon the captain, almost glaring. She held the via in one hand, the list resting still upon the table before her. "Captain, I have shown respect to your vessel and authority whilst upon your ship. You have been a gracious host and I am thankful for allowing us here. You, however, should recognize that you should give just as much respect to your guests who have not done wrong, especially to myself. You'd best understand that I am worth more than any cargo sealed with the 'Iranapha' name on this ship; You wouldn't dare punish me for the sake of both you and I alike. Before we dock at Port Damali I would very much wish to see to my cargo as well as this Aurello who wished to cause a detriment to my family!"
From the looks of it and you know that this substance is residuum a rare material from Whitestone, you can tell that this residuum is different and you remember a big project that someone wants to use residuum as a alternative power source to power up the city.
"You're right forgive this one for being harsh...this one prefers to keep the stuff confidential and it's a special request from the client! Competition is tough within the Clovis Concord and nothing will stop anyone from stealing some ideas!" She apologize to you. "If you allow, you're free to look at the cargo yourself after dinner of course! A private conversation between two business minded folks!" She took out a neatly scroll that is sealed and handed it to you Vivien."This is the written receipt and a list of stuff that your family have ordered!" Three Earrings clasps her paws together. "This one will try to make a full apology to what ever happen earlier and this one will talk about Aurello's bad behaviour and in return..." She looks at Crispin. "Don't snoop inside into our private quarters...there a lot of supplies that we don't want to be revealed! Is that a deal Lady Vivien?"
"And a comfortable privatequarters for your party! Aurello will be sleeping outside!"
Vivien would look down and scan the list before sliding it to the captain. Listening to the captain, she'd begin. "Apology accepted, captain, though an apology from the individual involved would mean a lot more to me. I was never much for the business side of things, I took more after my father who was the creative half of the business. She would accept the sealed receipt and examine the document. Any signatures, certain cargo, signs of officialism of the document which Vivien would been accustomed to; namely her family signature and the signature of Captain Three Earrings. She'd settle back into her seat, rolling the vial of residuum in her hands as she studies the captain. "I will accept this meeting only if the encounter with Aurello is assured as well as allowing Ms. Lyla Arkwren, Scholar of the Cobalt Soul, to join us as a confidant of mine. Comfortable quarters do not matter to me as much as the integrity of the Iranapha name my father and mother worked so long to gain that integrity for, and as an heir I will uphold this." She'd look to Lyla to see what she would accept this request by Vivien. Vivien, the intellectual, would be familiar with the Cobalt Soul as well as respect their pursuits of knowledge, especially their prowess in situations such as these. Vivien was not much of the business type, but she had honor and pride in her family name that she was certainly going to defend and uphold.
Lyla was about to take a sip of wine when she hears her name. She sits frozen in for a moment, like a deer caught in a Light spell. After a moment, she clears her throat while placing the glass down. "If my presence is allowed, then I would like to be there."
Lyla looks to Vivien, and gives her a nod in support. A soft, awkward smile rests on her face as she turns her attention back to Three Earrings. She quickly adds, "I hope it is not too much to ask for. We wish to settle the matter swiftly and in a satisfactory manner. If we are considering working together, it would be to everyone's benefit."

"Then it's a deal, my brother will bring Aurello in your presences and Ms Lyla will accompany you Lady Vivian to check the supplies!"Three Earrings looks at the both of you as she snaps her fingers, summoning a small journal in her hands and writing some personal note on it. "Is there anything this one miss? feel free to add in case this one might encounter another problem! communication is key here and this one don't like being kept in the dark!" She replied then looking back at Crispin.
She glances to Crispin and then back to the captain. "I'm happy to hear. I do not know of the actions of this gentleman, nor know him as personally as the others in this group; I don't even know his name in all honesty. However, I will keep an eye on this one on your behalf so an incident like this does not happen again." She looks to back to Crispin, awaiting anything he'd like to add to this.
Crispin shrugs and gives an innocent ‘Who, me?’ smile. “As I said, I was just looking to duck out of some hard work and be prepared if attacked again. That’s all. You all and you’re presumptions and accusations! I am offended by the notion I would go into private quarters unbidden! Offended!”
Crispin rises and finishes off his drink before slamming it back down on the table. “If this is the thanks one gets for saving lives and making sure the ship sailed before the island sunk….” Crispin gives a hard, cold look at all those who accused him, by word or glance…
Then he laughs, collapses back into his chair and picks up his mug and waved it in the air for me. “Who cares, am I right? I’m not the hero type, I admit that much. But I’m not the thieving type Aurelio or you all think either…. Say, is there dessert?”
Three Earrings stares at the group quietly as places down her glass on the table. "That's too much alcohol for this evening and...dessert is a bowl of tropical fruits due to supplies running low!" She calmly gets up from her chair. "If you excuse this one, she will prepare everything for the meeting between me, Lady Vivien and Ms Lyla so kindly wait for this one until one of the crew members will call you out!" Three Earrings excuses herself and leaves the group to grab the necessary stuff she needs for the meeting, you see your plates magically lift up from the air and another plate full of tropical fruits servers at your table.
Currently your group is all alone inside the captain's quarters until the crew called you out Vivien and Lyla.
As they are left alone, Lyla leans back in her chair. The others might think that she was trying to become one with the chair with how far backs she goes. "I don't know about you all, but I always dislike meetings. Well, I really wouldn't know. We really do not know much about one another."

Vivien would nod long with Lyla's statement. "I never quite liked meetings myself, but in times such as these they are needed for cooperation. And speaking of cooperation, I do agree we should... have some sort of opportunity to sit around, share about ourselves since we will be working with each other with collecting this cane. I also thank you for accepting my request, Lyla. In times such as these, the Cobalt Soul presence can really do much to keep me at ease." She would smile to Lyla and keep talking until they are called to the captain's quarters. She'd stand, push in her seat, and follow.
"It would be a lie if I said I wasn't a little curious about everything." She chuckles. "Just seems like an odd coincidence. But we might get some answers soon."
"But!"Lyla claps her hands together, swiftly changing the topic, "Is it safe to assume most of you are from around the Coast? Or what drew you to the region?" Despite clearly not being from the region due to her accent, she doesn't even answer her own question. Seemingly due to forgetting that sometimes you need to answer your own questions.

"Well thank you Crispin " says Xan'drila after letting out a deep sight "She was about to offer me some proper clothes, perhaps even an armor and now I am doomed to walk half naked. And you put me up into that crow's nest and then tried to hide from work?" she stares at Crispin for a few seconds with intensity then she let herself back into the chair. "You are lucky you bastard, for I am too tired today. Remind me to beat the shit out of you tomorrow ok?" despite her words her tone hides the hint of a joke on it.
"I am Xan'dryla Fei'la. " she says, joining the idea of getting to know the others. "I was waiting for my Master and friend on the island. He was expected in three days but now I guess that the authorities in Port Damali will contact the ships heading to Palma Flora? Any idea of how they are going to warn them? Or if anyone is going to? "
Vivien would begin once Xan'ryla has her say. "My name is Vivien. Vivien Iranapha. I was born and raised in Port Damali. As evident from the conversation, I am the second born child of nobility; my family has authority and monopoly on construction around the Port, namely shipwrights. I was in Palmla Flora on academic vacation for the Summer, I was sort of forced into it..." She'd look to Xan'ryla. "I was planning on heading to the commodore when we reached Port Damali, most likely than not they would use sending spells to the captains informing them of the sinking of the island. We have multiple accounts based on ourselves and the refugees; they'd listen to us."
A’ro just finishes his drink and orders another “I quite liked this meeting.” He says with a smile from the entertainment provided. He just takes another bite of food “A’ro Gale, I’m from a small town in Tal’dorei. Not much to know really, just been in the sea most my life. You all are a bunch of fancy folk huh? Well crept for the…” he stares at Crispin for a second “am I just wrong in assuming you were a pirate at some point? Either that or a newcomer to the sea who doesn’t know how actual sailors talk…” he doesn’t even wait for a response before looking at the rest of the group “am I the only one thinkin’ it?”
"That's a good idea I'll go with you if you don't mind " says Xan'dryla to Vivien at the idea of going to the warn the commodore. "I guess that once the news reach Port Damali and the other ships we wouldn't be the only ones trying to recover something valuable from the site but that's a concern for later. The first priority should be warn the other ships"
She looks back to Crispin at A'ro's words.
"I couldn't say. I am not really familiar with sailing at all..."
For some reason I misspelled my character name.... I mean... I am known to do that... sorry.
I edited my post but it's ok Stivali if you don't change yours... :)
"I feel the more that come to the commodore would greatly help our credibility, along with all the refugees. Also if I may ask, you talk of a master, what sort of master do you serve?" She'd ask the elf before turning to A'ro with a smile. "Truthfully you'd find me more by myself in my room or laboratories than at dinner parties or galas. As for Crispin, his name was? She looks to gunslinger. "You... do unsettle me truthfully. You did help save many on that island, including my own which I am thankful for, though your demeanor can be fairly confusing. Also, about getting your tools gambling... If you truly did, it was most defiantly associated with pirates, no noble or anyone knowledgeable of them would just stake one in a game of chance let alone two." She'd study Crispin's expression or reaction, rolling the vial of residuum in her hands.
"Oh my apologies"says Xan'dryla "I do not serve him."She seems amused by the idea. "I meant master as in teacher. I..." here she doubts for a second, her hand uncounsciously touching the pendant around her neck still obscured by the white dress "... met him when I was a child and he took me in and taught me how to fight. How to defend myself and be able to defend others. We were suppoused to come together from Tal'dorei but he had some bussiness to attend and sent me to Palma Flora to get some rest and relax before he comes for me. If he only knew.."
"If you would like, Xan'dryla, I do have some leather armor with my belongings that you can take. It's only been lightly used, and should fit well enough. You can keep or return it once we get to shore." Lyla scratches her chin. "Pardon my ignorance, but is there a code or standard behavior to sailors and pirates? The closest thing to an ocean for most of the Empire are lakes."

Crispin offers a 'Sorry, what could I do' shrug and smile to Xan'drila in response to her thanks. "To be fair, you look quite fetching dressed just as you are," Crispin says with his best charming smile. "And honestly my goal was to bring you on the tour of the ship below so we'd both miss out on the real work... But you somehow got roped into an actual job."
As A'ro makes his accusations Crispin's eyes turn cold but the smile remains. "And how do actual sailors talk?" Crispin asks in retort. "I am sure authorities at all the ports would love to be informed so that people could be rounded up for how they talk and make the seas safe for all... In my experience, how one talks has more to do with where one was born and raised than it does the type of ship you serve upon." Though his words may be a bit combative, Crispin remains comfortably relaxed in his chair.
"Apologies, Lady Vivien... It was never my intention to unsettle your royalness, just to help... As for my tools - they're weapons, no need to be coy about that - they belong to me and I see none hear who can credibly make a claim otherwise." Crispin says, a mixture of humor and incredulity in his voice.
At Lyla's question Crispin finally sits upright and adopts a serious expression. "As with any profession, codes and standards vary... Despite what some may say," Crispin says as he pointedly turns back to A'ro for a moment.
"Not all knights are noble. Not all hangmen are cruel. Life... It is more complicated than that. And anyone who tells you they can pinpoint one's profession by how they speak is either a liar or not experienced the world enough to know better..." Crispin winks at A'ro and then turns his attention back to his drink.
