Stor frowns at Corgretor's question. "No, they are aware of the spell and the fact they must tell the truth. A limitation to be sure." He follows the group through Team 3’s room and onto the balcony. He pays little attention to the room itself, instead focusing on what Vang may have seen from the balcony. He catches a smell of something foul and wrinkles his nose in distaste. “What is that terrible smell?” He looks down from the balcony, looking for anything unusual, or anything that may have indicated what Vang saw from the balcony.
Moving out onto the balcony, you follow your nose to one side, and spot a set of bushes around the corner of the building. the bushes are down a bit from the balcony, along the side of the building. Of interest, those bushes are not nicely trimmed, like the rest of the bushes in the garden. You would also notice that they are situated under the windows that would likely be in the library. A glint of metal can be seen laying on the ground among the bushes. Trying to figure out what sort of bushes those are though brings you up with a blank.

You are also able to follow your nose to the corner of the building, looking out around it to see the untrimmed bushes. You do not recognize what they are either.
Climbing down you are able to get into the inner courtyard. There are a few people in the area, who give you odd looks as you climb down, but no one stops you. Approaching the bushes you notice several of the branches are sliced, and those slices are where the bad smell is coming from. The metal object is revealed to be a bloody golden- plated curved dagger.
Others
There is not much else to be seen on the balcony. Another balcony is further down the building, on the same side with this balcony, and further away from the corner. There is no good idea here for what Vang might have seen, done, or noticed while on the balcony.
Stor watches Tel’ure climb down from the balcony, but with his own hands still tied in front of him makes no move to follow. Instead he leans over the railing and points out the bushes. “The smell is coming from those bushes over there. What do you see? Is there another body? Perhaps she saw another murder and was silenced for it.”
Corgretor stays up on the balcony looking down, "I'd say call the guard to come help investigate, but they've been absolutely useless so far. Still, probably best not to touch the dagger."
Tel'ure carefully wraps the dagger in a cloth before hoisting himself up. "Just this dagger down here. Bloodied, and apparently used to cut those nasty smelling bushes. Hm. Perhaps she did look at something - this is a different dagger than the one used to murder Vang."
The madwalker narrows his eyes. "These fibers on the knife resemble the piece of a bag that the victim had in their hand. Any ideas where you think it could've come from?"
He turns, looking around the Team 3 rooms for any fabric that resembles the cloth.

Stor glances down at the bushes in the courtyard and then back to his guards “What kind of bushes do you grow here Harold Pennc that smell so bad when you cut them? And what would you need to cut them for?” Stor continues to try to work his way into the good graces of his guards in an attempt to get information from them.
Going by the cuts found on the bushes, you would surmise the dagger was dropped from the window above those bushes. From the location of the window, the one above the bushes, you would guess the window is in the library.
Guards
"Those bushes are never cut." One of the guards says. "That is why they are so overgrown, compared to other plants in the courtyard." She glances to her superior, who just nods for her to continue. "I believe they are called Cat Ivy bushes, not sure why anyone would want something like that around, but not my business."
Guard Leader
"Nothing has been proven that takes suspiscion away from your companion." he says with a frown. "As you are clearly doing your best to find any clue that might do so, I tend to believe that your friend had nothing to do with it, but there needs to be proof, which nothing so far has changed the balances there in your favor."
Stor glances at the window and then back down to the bushes below “It appears she did see something she was not supposed to see. The dagger was either dropped or thrown out the window and when she went to investigate, she received another dagger in her belly for her trouble.”
Stor looks at his companions “But why would anyone think it was us? Why the stories of trouble between her and our team? Doesn’t make sense. We should check out that window, it is in the library I believe. Does anyone want to search anything else here before we leave?”
Stor will lead the group to the library once they are finished on the balcony and Team 3's room.

“Hm.”
Tel’ure ties a rope to the balcony, climbs down, and goes to look at what the shiny object is, as well as if the smell is the bush or something in it.

Tel’ure glances up. “The bush is sliced. That’s where the odor comes from. There is also a bloodied dagger here…”
Just to be safe, he peeks through the cut bushes to check if there’s anything else of importance.
Corgretor stays up on the balcony looking down, "I'd say call the guard to come help investigate, but they've been absolutely useless so far. Still, probably best not to touch the dagger."

The guards with you give Corgretor a sour look at the comment of the guards being useless.

Give me an investigation check as you study the dagger.
Investigation: 8
You realize that the dagger has traces of beige fibers, similar to the piece of a bag you found in the victim’s left hand.
Investigation check please... Also, what is everyone else doing?

Tel’ure cranes his neck up. “…the dagger was dropped from the library window. Let us move.”
He wraps the dagger securely in a cloth and heads toward the library with the rest of the group
