Josiah remains quiet the whole way to the overhang, but doesn't prevent Brystel from following.
Once there, he and Korrigan will get beneath it for cover from the wind and rain, presumably with Brystel doing likewise. Once out of the rain, Josiah takes a seat and looks wearily in Brystel's direction.
"I won't stop you from coming with me alone, but know that I'm now walking a dangerous road, and might be even more immediately dangerous myself. As much as I don't intend to, I can't promise I won't at some point turn and attack you."
Ooc: a bullet lobotomy will stop demonic possession right? Asking for a friend.
Bean pauses while being drenched, but glad the makeshift leather satchel/carrier for the cubs works. "Torla?, do you see something?" bean remains puzzled from the dramatic pause in the pouring rain.
Bean raises his voice in the loudening rain. "In a better situation id agree with you, obscured one, this storm would be a sight to behold from a distance, in it, on the other hand its quite tense"
I have been wondering that as well (if killing off Josiah would force the Celestial out like it would a ghost). I believe I have something else we can try on Torla's next level up. Not sure it will work in this homebrew universe, but I'm going to try it.
Tyrvan grunts as he picks up his bad, "Gods above and below! What's in this thing? Rocks?" He wants to open it know, but not knowing whats inside decides to wait until they are in the relative shelter of the overhang. "I think Josiah and Brystel were heading towards the overhang as well. If Josiah decides to go crazy again this could get ugly."

There’s a couple days worth of food in here, Imras says, pulling out a piece of dried meat to eat while he walks. We should get moving. The sooner we reach the overhang the better. Hopefully Joe doesn’t go crazy on us, it if he does, we‘ll Have to deal with it as it comes, we don’t have anywhere better to go. We’ll just have to watch him closely.
Jimmop: Torla sensed using Detect Evil and Good a celestial within Josiah, mainly around his arm (the one he looked at after seeing the eyes in the cave). When she used Detect Evil and Good later in the cave, she felt the same presence, only much, much stronger. It's an "ancient" and "malevolent" (I think those are the words Reign used — I'm too lazy to look it up) celestial. It's what's been "controlling" Josiah from time to time.
Vander: I'll be right with you once I find out what Torla perceived.
I'm wondering if something happened to change its alignment. I'm connecting the parchment to the celestial and the changes that took place from paragraph to paragraph.
Actually...in MOST D&D settings, Celestials are ALWAYS Good, Fiends are ALWAYS evil. It's inherent in their nature. A demon that for some reason had an alignment change (Balance card in the DoMT, for example) would technically cease to be a fiend/demon and become a celestial (albeit a very strange one if its form remained unchanged). Same in reverse for a celestial that undergoes an alignment change away from Good.
That said, this is the DM's world, so he's free to do what he will with all of that alignment stuff, which certainly seems to be the case so far.
Bean, you are too preoccupied with the wind and rain to really notice anything at the moment.
Torla, Just on the outside of the cave you see this faint shimmer in the air. Like a few sparkles that seem to be carried away by the wind as soon as you see them. You also notice that the water falling off the cliff and infront of the caves entrance is slowly freezing.
Homebrew World guys, I've made changes so I can Tell a Story for you guys.

Ooc: plane of origin has a higher % of alignment. But is not absolute. You can have good demons and devils. Just as you can have evil celestials.
I'm wondering if something happened to change its alignment. I'm connecting the parchment to the celestial and the changes that took place from paragraph to paragraph.
