Eventually, the Armored Halfgiant does stop his now hopeless pursuit at the behest of the child on his shoulder. The child begins banging on the armored shoulder and pointing back towards where torla and ***** had went. He begins moving in that direction.
The Elven man finally calms himself and stands up straight. He Begins examining his surroundings and tearing pieces off his sleeve to wrap his wounds. Josiah, you see him do this.
Korrigan continues her pursuit of the Cubs, following their scent at a fairly fast pace but unable to catch them at the time.

Seeing the giant stop pursuit and start walking back to toward the overhang, Imras stops running. He doesn't immediately follow, waiting a few minutes to see that the giant is truly gone before heading slowly and quietly in the same direction.

Sorry for the long delay. If I haven't mentioned it before, I'm in the middle of moving houses and won't have internet hooked up in the new place until tomorrow.
Since the male elf is the only hostile figure in sight (Female elf went off with Torla and Bean, while child and giant are pursuing Imras and Tyrvan), Josiah draws an arrow in his bow and takes aim but doesn't immediately fire it. Instead, he attempts to stealthily move closer to the male elf without being noticed, until he's close enough to quickly drop his bow and put at dagger to his back. If the elf notices his approach and tries to either flee or cast a spell, Josiah will release the arrow.

Male Elf aka Eustice perception check: 4
Yeah, he dosent see you approach Josiah. He does feel the point of your dagger hit his back and he instantly freezes in place. Holding his breath and waiting.

Still not exactly certain if/when you're shouting or whether you're shouting at Josiah or "Eustice," but I'm going to go ahead and post Josiah's intended action.
Once Josiah has his dagger pressed against the elf's back, he uses his the arm still holding his bow to wrap around the elf's shoulders and keep him from bolting immediately.
"Don't move or speak, or my dagger tastes your blood, Elf."
Intimidation: 6
If having a dagger pressed to his back gives me advantage on that check, here's the second roll: 21
You do have advantage on the Intimidation check Josiah because of the dagger to his back, So you take the nat 20.
The Male elf dosent move a muscle, Josiah with your passive perception you can hear some sort of liquid hitting the ground close to you. Upon further examination of the male elf, He has a trail of urine down his leg, staining his white robe.

"I've been here on this island for a LONG time, longer than I can really remember, and I've NEVER seen these people before. Now here they are, attempting to take people captive in the name of some "Lord" that also apparently resides here."
He presses the dagger just a bit more firmly against the elf's back as his eyes turn back to him, although he continues speaking to Brythel.
"No, I think I DO need to do this. I've gone too long without answers, and I'm going to get some."
Keeping Eustice firmly in hand, Josiah glances about, trying to determine how much time he might have before the elf's companions return. Perception: 12
Imras the Half-giant and child are taking their time as they re trace their steps. They are heading back towards the area in which the skirmish had occurred. The Child seems more attentive then the half-giant; who merely seems to be going where instructed.
Josiah, Eustice is hyper ventilating and on the verge of crying.
Torla, after another 10 minutes you come to a rather odd looking tree. It is unnaturally larger then the others with a thick and thriving root system. Glancing around the tree you see nothing but on the bark of the tree facing you, you see a tuff of white fur.
Korrigan has already found the tree and has climbed it, searching the higher branches for the cubs.

"Who is this master of yours?" Josiah asks the elf forcefully, not removing the dagger. "What does he want with my companions here? And what does he have to do with this this island?"
As he asks this, Josiah is keeping his eyes open for any sign of the others returning.
Eustice makes an audible swallowing noise as tears begin to stream from his eyes, He isnt moving an inch. "We were merely told to bring The Marked one and his allies back to the compound. Our lord commanded it and we must obey him. The Isle is his domain, where he rules and where the betrayers cannot touch him. "
There are several low hanging branches along the tree, at a glance they look rather small. You do not know if they can hold your weight or not. Athletics check if you wish to climb the tree Torla.
Sorry for the irregular/Delayed postings over the last few weeks guys. I know the campaign has dragged on a single point for almost 3 weeks now and I am to blame. Unfortunately some things happened to me and my family fairly recently. I've had to devote most of my time to them and their needs. FOr the moment however it seems that things have finally returned to normal. This will enable me to progress the campaign along at a regular pace once more.
