My turn I action surge disengage and dash as far away as I can 

Torla, you swing the rope around 2 times before letting it loose up into the tree. The Rope swings around a rather thick branch a few times before a crude looking hook at the end sinks into the bark. Pulling on the now free hanging rope a couple times to make sure it is secure, You climb hand over hand. In a rather impressive display of upper body strength you pull yourself up the rope, getting higher and higher in the tree.

Byrthel uses his first action to Disengage, His extra action from a Action surge to Dash. Moving 50 feet away from the Half-giant.

On the Half-giants turn, he keeps his focus on Byrthel. Moving 50 feet to re-enter melee with him and attacking him twice. No longer with Disadvantage.

Attack: 28 Damage: 9

Attack 2: 18 Damage: 10

The Electricity from his previous strikes fizzles out, the large maul no longer producing any sort of charge.

Torla, you peer threw the thick upper branches of this old and gigantic tree. About 4 feet away from you on a out stretched and bare branch you see a bird nest, only much larger. Easily 3 feet wide and almost 2 feet high. This relatively enormous nest is precariously hanging on one of the thicker and larger branches. There is something moving in the nest, you catch a glimpse of white fur every few seconds and what sounds like tiny growls.

"Yin?! Yang?!" Torla attempts to climb out onto the branch.

The head of Yin pokes up over the edge of the nest, Her maw is covered in gore. Yang is no where to be seen.

Torla the branch is strong and thick, it can easily hold your weight. Getting closer to the nest, you can see Very large feathers, easily 2 feet long. there are some egg shells on the far side, they appear to be long dried out and open.

Torla will attempt to pick up Yin to look her over to see if she is hurt (if she's bleeding).

Athletics: 19 (would be the same for acrobatics if that's more appropriate)

Animal handling: 22 (would be the same for medicine if that's more appropriate)

You pick up Yin, she has no visible wounds other then a few scratches. Her maw is absolutely covered with blood, She has some flesh still hanging from one of her teeth. Glancing into the nest, you see the remains of a small bird-like creature. Strangely enough, it has no feathers. Yang is no where to be seen.

I can honestly say No, I had put the cubs there just to show you all that the Momma panther is just protecting her young.

"Where is your brother?" Torla asks, snuggling Yin. The Dwarf looks further up into the tree to see if she sees Yang.

Imras grips his dagger in a white-knuckled fist as he watches Brythel and the giant, wanting nothing more than to go help his shipmate, but knowing there's nothing he can do against the monstrous creature.

Frustrated that the half giant completely ignored him, Josiah grits his teeth and readies another arrow as he beseeches the spirits of nature to aid his efforts.

Bonus Action: Cast Hunter's Mark on the Half Giant.

Action: Longbow attack at the Half Giant.  Attack: 25  Damage: 7 Piercing, plus 6 Piercing from Hunter's Mark.

Josiah you adjust your aim after the last arrow, Aiming directly where your first arrow had momentarily lodged you pull the arrow a little further back in your bow and let it loose. It finds its mark, Jamming directly between the same 2 plates of metal by his shoulder. The arrow is rigid and definitely met flesh but the Half-giant gives no sign of pain.

Torla, yang is not here. You examine the rest of the nest and the nearby branches but you do not see the Small Black cub. 

Korrigan HAS found something further up the tree. She has begun making her way down the tree to head back to Josiah.

Does Torla see or hear Korrigan?
