Half-giant does get a AoO against you Byrthel as you move out of melee with him.

On His turn, He leaves Byrthel to run as he makes his way towards imras, not able to reach him on his turn. He uses his action to pick the child up and place her on his shoulder. He is 30 feet away from Imras. Byrthel is 75 feet away from the Child and Half-giant. Josiah is a little over 60 feet away.

Bean at the bottom of the tree

Bean looking up the tree and using his hand to stop pine needles/bark/leaves from getting in his eyes from falling stuffs.

Bean shouts up the tree. "Raise the rope up to yourself, tie her to the bottom and lower her down to me, then you can climb unencumbered"

Bean whispers out the side of his mouth. "I swear, if the cub falls after you said that, im going to torture you with sea shanties again!"

Torla does as Bean suggests. She pulls the end of the rope up to her, secures Yin in a kind of makeshift harness, and lowers the cub down to the waiting Gnome.

I'm guessing this is a survival check to see how well Torla secured Yin: 23

Imras yells to Brythel Get out of here!  Run!  He then Dashes into the trees himself and tries to Hide once again.

Wait no I was running away from Imras sorry I didn’t make that clear this is clearly an attempt of distraction 

(He had you running away from me.  Giant is in between the two of us, 75 feet away from you, 30 feet away from me before I ran away again)

Imras darts further into the treeline and vanishes from sight, Sinking into the nearby brush.

Torla, you fashion together a make shift harness out of the rope and slowly begin to lower the Panther cub down. She is surprisingly heavy but not enough to cause you strain, taking your time you slowly lower her down to Bean, who is waiting to grab the cub as soon as she comes into range.

Bean, you dont notice the Panther as it slinks pass you and darts into the trees; making its way back to Josiah. However you do notice, A Little ways off from the Large tree you stand before You see a Flash of red move from tree to tree. Advancing towards your position.

Bean motions to get *****'s attention. "Hey *****, does one of your guys wear alot of red? Cause i saw some odd movement over there." bean will point in the direction.

Bean snidely remarks. "Oh please, my friend is in a tree and im holding a baby panther, if i was going to do something stupid like try to run away, i sure as hell would do something more than *LOOK, a DISTRACTION!*, besides that with her bow id probly only make it 25ft. Before an arrow was in my back"

After Bean releases Yin from the rope, Torla continues climbing to see if Yang is higher up.

*****, who has been Chuckling to herself this entire time. Looks to where you point Bean, she takes her bow in hand with a arrow nocked but not pulled. She takes a step back, seemingly ready to run. Bean you notice that while she has been generally unpleasant this entire time, she has had a slight smile on her face. At the mention of Something red moving, she looks completely terrified. 

Torla after you finish lowering Yin down to Bean, you take a moment to steady yourself and prepare for your ascent. Glancing at the general surroundings below, you too see a flash of red threw the trees. Luckily, you have seen this kind of thing before. Initially worried you cant help but smile as you look down at ***** who is slowly backing away. Knowing that Leo is about to turn this attempted abduction on its head.

The half-giant has picked up the weeping child and is seemingly protecting her. She creeps close to the Helmet covering his face and whispers into it. Josiah, your turn.

Josiah readies another arrow, but doesn't release it yet.  He'll hold his attack until the giant makes any aggressive move towards either himself or any of the others who are fleeing.  He'll shout in the direction of the child and the giant.

"This encounter doesn't seem to be going in anyone's favor at the moment.  How about we start back at square one and try to be a bit more civil with each other, so no one else has to die?"

Alright so you are holding your action to attack if the half-giant makes a aggressive action towards your party.

There are some tree cover 10 to 15 feet away from you.

Brythel runs to the trees and dives into cover behind one.

On the Half-giants turn, He double dashes to the north. Moving 100 feet away, carrying the child on his shoulder.

No aggressive action has been taken for the the last round, Combat is on hold.

Torla's holding — temporarily distracted — watching to see what Leo is going to do.

Imras remains hidden amongst the trees, watching the giant leave with the child.  He feels no need to follow the duo this time since his nearby allies are currently safe, and he doesn't want to move out to examine the body on the ground until he knows where the female is.

(Pretty sure we have no idea at this point where Torla and Bean would be right?)

Seeing the giant turn and flee with the child, Josiah's shoulders sag, the nocked arrow relaxing in his grip.  He takes a deep breath as he starts trying to process everything that just happened, but then he instantly freezes, realizing that Torla and Bean could still be in significant danger.

He proceeds to follow after the giant, just to find out if he's heading to rendezvous with the female elf or not.

That's 60ft of movement with the Dash action, attempting to follow as best he can.
