Bean there are a few bags of long rotted rice and beans in one of the corners. A few barrels stacked to the right of the door and a awful lot of rusted weapons.
As far as you know bean, there is only one entrance and exit to this weapon room. You have not seen anything that would lead you to believe there is another.
Edit: I will say, given your Knowledge of ships after sailing aboard the Venture. You do know that the crew quarters is usually placed towards the rear of the ship, not the front. That and this weapons room does seem small for the size of the ship, as if it should have another 10 feet to it.

Bean with the aid of imras you move a couple of the stacked barrels and find a odd looking hatch in the floor. It is circular in shape with a latch in the middle of it.

Alright Bean, In what could be a daring attempt or a very poor choice you pull on the latch. It doesn't open or move, seemingly locked.
Everyone stays still as they wait for something to happen but nothing does.

Bean will try to turn the circular ring, incase its a locking device. But he will also try to investigate the door to see if it has anything showing how it opens
Bean, In a stroke of momentary brilliance. You turn the circular hatch and you feel it move. It turns 180 degrees before it brings up on something, You hear a click and the hatch pops up. Whatever lock was on the hatch has been unlocked and it can now be opened.

Bean you pull up on the latch and it not as heavy as you would think, relatively light the hatch seperates completely from the floor. Setting it to one side you look into the newly opened area and your jaw drops.
You are looking at tens of thousands of Gold Pieces. There are beautiful golden necklaces and rings. You see a few silver goblets.
Make a Perception check Bean.

Bean the room you are seeing if roughly the same size and shape of the one you are currently in. It is practically filled with treasure.
Tyrvan, you confidently step up to the cage door. You've never had to improvise a lockpick before but the thrill of the challenge is exciting. Your hands are steady as you begin to feel around inside the lock, find all the tumblers. Asking for silence so you can hear if they click into their correct positions. You get one, then another and another before you feel one of nails snap off inside the lock. Not giving up you use the other nail to push the broken piece into place and you hear the last tumbler click. The lock opens and the cage door shifts open.

Brythel gives Tyrvan a pat on the back of the leg “nice work, now let’s see what we’ve got in here” Brythel excitedly began examining the guns, seeing what kind of shap they where in, if they where loaded, and if now that he was closer if he could recognize the rifle

The Rifle has a interesting look to it, It's heavier then it looks and seems capable of only firing one shot at a time.
The handgun is beautifully crafted. A Ivory handle with platinum inlays, The trigger has a finger guard and there is a safety lever on the left side of the gun. It folds open to reveal the Actual barrels, With this gun you load the bullets directly into the barrels there is no loading chamber. The barrels spin nicely and the hammer seems to work fine. You give it a couple test fires, unloaded of course. Hearing a click after each one to indicate the gun is working properly. Opening the gun once more you examine the barrels themselves, they are beautifully crafted and weighted exactly right. Each barrel is seemingly made of a Red glass like material, making the actual barrels opaque. You note that the fire arm is warm to the touch.
Unfortunately you already failed the intelligence check on the rifle so there is no more info you can gather on it.
One thing you also note, your bullets for your revolver would fit into the Pepper box. Neither of the guns are loaded. Looking around the gun rack, you find a small brown box containing 12 bullets for the pepper box but no ammo for the rifle. There is a slender looking Harpoon-like rod with a chain hanging close to the rifle.
The Bullets in the Box are different then yours, yours are a cast iron. These have a metallic, almost silverish sheen to them.

Bean holds his breath, preps to dodge, and pull it, using all the experiance of the previous traps "hopefully" to his advantage.
