Imras there is ALOT of gold in this Vault, more then all of you can carry at one time. You see pieces of platinum, rare gem stones.
3 things catch your eye, in the middle of the vault you see a Platinum shoulder guard, a single piece of armor meant to protect ones left arm. It has a single wide plate that covers the upper arm and a smaller plate that covers the forearm. It is beautiful, You can see the ingraving of a pair of horns on the larger plate.
You also see a Long bow, It looks like it is made of a dark wood. The string of the bow is gold in color and there is beautiful Elven runes carved all along it.
You also see a single Old looking key that looks remarkably similar to the one Brythel has, It has a different teeth pattern. You quickly realize this is the key to the gun locker.
There is also various jewel encrusted daggers and goblets. You see a few crowns. Yet only those 3 things really stick out.
DM Says: It's obviously a harpoon gun, unfortunately no one has rolled high enough to know that.

Imras grabs the shoulder guard, bow, and key, as well as shoving a few coins in his pockets for luck. Then, on a whim, shoves a jeweled dagger in his belt and plops a crown on his head before heading back up. "Hey Joe, found something you might like." He says, holding up the longbow. Then he tosses the key to Brythel, "Guess you don't really need this anymore, but look what I found." He hefts the shoulder guard. "Found this too."
Josiah the Bow is beautifully made, easily the best looking bow you have ever laid eyes on. Silver engraving of runes follow the edge of the bow, it feels sturdy in the hand and has a good pull to it. You get the sense you would have to spend more time with the weapon to truly understand it.
Everyone notices the Armguard Imras has, It looks far to large for any of you to wear.

It looks like it could have possibly fit the half-giant.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Once Josiah has the bow secured, he turns away from the remaining loot and walks back toward the door, where he pauses to check that nothing has crept up behind them.
Still wearing the crown and ready to check the rest of the ship, Imras follows Josiah back towards the door, new shortsword ready at hand.
(Is it a magical shortsword for inventory/attacking purposes? Do I need to identify it or anything before I use it as anything but a normal shortsword?)
((If it's anything more than a basic +X weapon, then you probably have to attune to it.))
(Figured as much, hence the question. Not entirely sure if its a basic wepaon or something more, and need to figure out how I'm tracking it on my sheet :P)
Imras the shortsword is sharp and feels like it could do very well in combat.
It's a Shortsword +2

The jeweled dagger is more for display purposes, it could work as a puncturing weapon but it probably isn't very durable.
Even when you grabbed the dagger you could feel that while the handle is strong and durable, while encrusted with rare gemstones. The actual blade is somewhat flimsy, It isnt as fine of a temper as your dagger.

Josiah as you walk out of the room, A genuine shiver rolls down your spine. You instinctively grab your cloak and pull it closer around you, Your breath clings to the air. There is a unnatural cold here that wasn't here before. You hear what sounds like a female voice singing for just a few seconds. The words are lost to you but it sounds beautiful in its own weird way. The singing stops and the cold soon fades away, Before you hear footsteps on the deck of the ship. Right above you.

Josiah freezes in place as he draws his cloak tight. He's had more than enough experience with sudden cold to be wary. He glances about for any sign of wear the singing is coming from before it stops.
"Did anyone else hear that?" he asks aloud without looking at the group.
When he hears the footsteps above, he immediately starts making for the stairs.
You would have heard it Imras but not realized it until Josiah pointed it out.
Josiah as you come to the stairs you take one look at them and remember. These are very rotten and barely there stairs, it would take alot of acrobatic skill to make it up them.
The stairs are rotten and the bottem portion of them are no longer there, If you wish to climb them. Make either a acrobatics or athletics check.

DM question, does the armor look like it might fit the half giant, if yes then Brythel says “I wounder why the half giant would not have taken that”
If not, or actually in both cases, Brythel starts filling his pockets with chalices and gold

If no one objects, he straps the bow to the side of his pack for now.
“Nope” Brythel said as he stuffed his pockets with more loot
