Does Josiah see any other way of reaching the deck above?

"I heard it," Imras whispers back to Josiah.  

There is no other way to the deck that you can see Josiah. 

"We need to see what's up there," Josiah says bluntly as he gets to the rotting stairs.  With that, he attempts to carefully make his way up, putting his feet as close to the sides of the steps as he can to avoid putting his weight in the middle where they're more likely to break.

Luckily NeoMagus, It isnt a high DC at all. It's literally just watching where you step.

Josiah you fumble once or twice and on a few occasions hear the wood of the stairs creak and break but you manage to climb them safely. You now stand on the deck of the Pale Willow, the sun is still high in the sky and beating down on you. A nice breeze blows across the deck. Looking around the deck you see bits of rope and chain all around.

Imras tries to follow Josiah up the stairs, keeping as quiet as possible.

Acrobatics: 14

Stealth: 30

Imras, your natural acrobatic skill from dashing threw busy city streets and jumping from roofs come in handy here. Finding a solid place to set your foot, you push up and jump. Grabbing a piece of wood on the side of the stair, turning you jump from that wall to the deck. Landing without making a noice as you crouch and try to remain unseen on the barren deck.

There is no sign of what was making the footsteps.

Tyrvan watches Irmas and Josiah as they climb up to the next deck and jumps up to follow them. 

Once Bean is ready to come up as well, Josiah will crouch down next to the stairwell and extend his arm to help the little gnome climb up.

Bean follows everyone to the stairs. And thinking jut arm reach wont be enough, he extends his arm with the harpoon as well just incase its needed.

Athletics: 18

Bean with the extended reach of the Rod, Josiah grips the end of it and helps pull you up the rotten staircase. You make it up in a few seconds.

Brythel you take one step onto the staircase and it gives way under you. you fall threw the stairs and land on the floor just a foot beneath it. You look up and most of the staircase is now gone.

Bean looks at his harpoon. If the chain is long enough, he will tell everyone on the top steps to hold on to the harpoon, while tossing the chain length attatched to the harpoon to *probly heaviest team member* Brythel.

"Heave ho friends, no man left behind"

Alright, Bean you toss the chain to brythel. The chain is almost 20 feet long so it does reach Brythel, who grabs it and gives a nod. 

Bean make a strength check with advantage.
