Seeing the scene layed out on the beach, Josiah sets Bean down before rushing over to check on Yin.
Medicine: 9
"Where's Leo?"
Josiah, it dosent take much for you to Realize that Yin is dead. Her tiny body is covered in cuts and puncture wounds, a few of her teeth are missing and one of her legs is completely severed from her body. She tried fighting back but her small body couldnt do much. It's at this point you realize you have not seen Korrigan.
Josiah IMMEDIATELY whistles for Korrigan.
Bean shouts. "Crap, this isnt good."
Clambering in the sand he makes to the midway between torla and yin before not willing to take another step. "What happened here?"
Bean starts gritting his teeth, ignoreing the insulting things the mental creature is insinuating about torla and yang.
Josiah a few tense moments pass where you imagine every worse thing imaginable. Korrigan was meant to protect Torla,Yin and Leo, She was unable to do so. What could this mean? Is she alive? Is she hurt? whats taking her so long?
You keep sight on the trees as you watch for her, for any kind of movement. after a minute you see the Black panther slink out threw the bushes, She is limping.
Tyrvan surveys Yin's tiny corpse, the blood where Leo laid and the tufts of fur spread through out the beach. He watches as Korrigan comes limping out of the jungle to Josiah's side. "What in the abyss happened here?" he walks over to Torla, "Were you attacked? Are you ok?"

Torla looks up finally, almost dreamily. She's holding her arms very strangely ... as if she's holding something that isn't there. Her face is sopping wet. You can see she's been weeping, but now she's smiling. "Praise the Lord," she says, looking from face to face. "You're all okay." She looks down at the ground and adjusts her arms, but continues to hold them in a weird configuration. "And you're okay." She then closes her eyes, lifts her arms a little, and lowers her chin into them, turning her face back and forth. After a few seconds, she looks up again. No one has said anything, but some looks have been exchanged. "But Leo didn't make it," she says, becoming more solemn. "I ... he ... he woke up coughing, but then I heard this ... voice ... singing. And then a scream. And then I saw some ... thing hovering over the ship. I was so scared for all of you. I left him for ... not long. Too long," she says more quietly, lowering head again. "When I got back to him ..." She looks up. "The Celestial has him. It said Leo died while I was away and now ... he has ... a body? Then ... I saw Yin. She was ... dead." She looks between her arms with a deep frown. "She was ... in pieces," she says, clearly confused. Torla looks up. "Is it a miracle?"
OOC: Can Torla see Yin's remains? If they're pointed out to her?

If the remains of Yin is pointed out to Torla, she will see them and the cub she is holding will vanish.

Josiah ignores everything on the beach and immediately makes for Korrigan. He wraps his arms around her briefly in relief before moving to examine her leg.
Presuming this would be another Medicine check: 15

After much thought and reading into Favored terrain via Natural Explorer. I have discovered that technically speaking you do not have advantage in your favorite terrain, You simply double your proficiency bonus on Intelligence or wisdom based Rolls you are proficient in. I first thought you would have advantage on the medicine check because you are still in your favored terrain only to discover that is not how the ability works at all.
Josiah, her back leg is swollen and badly injured but nothing a good nights rest would fix.
((Any indications what might have caused the injury?))
It looks like a bad sprain.
She didnt take any damage, I would have told you what was happening to her otherwise. She looks to have simply sprained her ankle and was relaxing somewhere in the trees because of the pain it caused.
Josiah spends a moment just hugging Korrigan, then uses some hand motions and verbal cues to ask her to show him where she got injured.
Korrigan nuzzles into you for a moment before leading you into the trees, You walk for 5 minutes before you come to a small creek. There is loose rock surrounding both sides of it and it would appears she turned her ankle over while taking a drink.
Torla looks at her brother Dwarf. "It said Leo had died." Tears begin to fall again. "It said it now had its ... vessel." She shakes her head at him and looks pleadingly at the others. "I ... didn't think he was that bad off," she explains, her words coming in tumble. "He'd been sleeping soundly most of the morning. Then, I saw that ... thing. All I wanted to do was warn you, but you were too far away, so I came back." She pauses, then speaks quietly and slower. "But it was too late." She looks back to where the Leo husk had stood, but her eyes are blank. All the while, her fingers are flexing in and out.
"Well s***. As if we weren't bad enough off, now that thing's got a body..." He looks at Torla. "It wasn't your fault. If he was that far gone, ther'es probably not much you could have done anyway"
