Bean will clear an area to start cutting down the wolves with his short sword. "We will be out in the open tonight, we are going to have to be ready if we get attacked. And we will need a fire to start cooking, and i still have a few flints in my leathers to make it easy. Who wants to get the fire started?" bean will hold out a flint rock to give to whoever wants to be on fire duty
Ooc: i gave a hunk of meat to torla already for the cubs.
"Sure, fun. You just like the idea of me being cut down in the middle of the night you sadistic freak" bean mutters to himself while working on the wolves
Bean, While you know how to use your short sword to kill. Cutting meat without destroying it is a little bit more difficult. Especially with a Sword. You take your time and over the course of 30 minutes you manage to scavenge roughly 1 pound of usable meat. Between the 7(Including the cubs, While small they do eat alot for their size) of you and given that at this time, you would all be pretty hungry. You would guess that most of it could be eaten tonight.

No issue at all Imras, You have a fire crackling and burning hot long before Bean has finished cutting the meat off the wolf.
Edit: Going forward, Lightning a Fire will not require a survival check. After 2 successful fires. You know how to do it now. However you still need to gather materials and Flint.

Torla intuits by Imras's actions that he feels it's prudent to set up camp for the night. She lowers her makeshift cub carrier to the ground, squats down, and spreads open the top. "You two hungry?" she asks, smiling. She places the piece of raw wolf meat Bean handed her on the ground beside the carrier. She sits nearby, but far enough away to give Yang his space. Torla's eyes are heavy, and her head is pounding, but she decides she'd better try to stay awake and eat before going to sleep.
Yin and Yang are both very sluggish, Be it from the heat or the confined space that they were in. It does take them a moment to get up and move around but they do. They both eagerly eat the meat before them. Yin, seeing Torla makes her way towards you and begins to purr. Yang sits 4 feet away from the fire, Looking into the grasslands.

OOC: Sorry for the delay. My two boys came down with some sort of bug so I've been dealing with sick toddlers.
Tyrvan watches as Torla yawns. "I think staying here for the night will be our best option. We aren't exactly master trackers and miss most signs in broad daylight much less at night when who knows what is out prowling the jungle. I don't mind taking first watch if we are going to stay."

Shaking herself, Torla scoops up Yin and moves over to beside the fire, placing the white cub down on the grass between her and Yang. "If I don't do something productive, I'm going to fall asleep."
OOC: Torla will busy herself by HELPING whoever is doing the cooking (give advantage?). I was going to try to do it myself, but I'm afraid with my disadvantage I'll burn it all to a crisp. :/
"Torla, why don't you rest. Between the rest of us we can cook, keep watch, and whatever else needs to be done. You're no good to us dead on your feet."

Hope they are feeling better!
Dirtydog, It does not require a check to cook raw meat. It just takes time.
An hour passes, the meat is cooked and ready to be eaten. Everyone make a perception check.
