It's a low Survival/Nature DC torla. had to beat a 5. They are small creatures and its easy to tell they are not very old.

You hand the Torch to Torla who wouldve moved up to see the creatures. Erik they look incredibly frightened, They dont nip at you or show any form of agression. Instead they seem to push themselves even farther into the corner. The Sound of bean Yelling seems to have scared them even more.

Bean meanders closer but doesnt wish to intrude on what the others are doing, he instead looks to size up the cave. Does this look like it could be serviceable as a good shelter
Erik will slowly turn his face away from the cubs and cup his hands around his mouth as he shouts, "Oy, Beansprout, shut up for a bit, will ya?"
He'll then turn his attention back to the cubs and begin trying to speak to them much more gently. "Hey, there, little ones, it's okay. We don't want to hurt ya." He'll hold out his hand toward them and wait to see if either approaches.
Edit: dang refresh delay. wouldn't have shouted myself if I'd known you wandered closer.
I'll give you advantage on one more animal handling check Erik, The DC has gone up because of Bean's yelling.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"OK, I'm going to leave the light right here," Torla says, carefully placing the glowing driftwood on the cave floor to Erik's side. "We should leave them alone to see if Erik can calm them. Too many strangers will make it more difficult." Torla will turn and walk out of the cave quietly. Standing in the mouth, she's going to take a look around.
Torla, As you look out threw the tall grass where your group had just come from. You see tall trees, many with those "Coconut" type things on them, you see a relatively inclosed valley in which the caves entrance is. You also note that the sun is about to set over the horizon. something does catch your ear though, Its the sound of running water but its not from outside. The Sound is coming from within the cave.

Imras remains at the cave while Erik tries to coax out the pups. He glances at the corpse of the panther they just took down. Anyone ever eaten panther before? Dunno how it tastes, but that's a lot of meat lying right there...
Erik the cubs are way to Scared now, they are visibly shaking and have closed their eyes. The White one is letting out what can only be described as a cry for its mother.

Bean, you see no visibly loose rock or hanging rocks. The cavern seems smooth on the walls and structurally sound. The only light source is the Torch Torla made. You also hear running water. Glancing to the back side of the cavern, you can see what looks like a small pool of water. Roughly 5 feet wide and 3 feet long, Water is falling from the cavern wall into the pool.

You could contain them Neo, But because of the Yelling and your Animal handling failure. The DC has gone way up. They are frightened baby animals who just want the comfort of their mother.

"Does anyone else hear water?" Torla will follow the sound of the water, being quiet to not disturb the cubs. If it gets too dark, she won't venture in recklessly (this time). She'll be careful, thinking about the fact that there's probably a daddy somewhere and she doesn't want to stumble upon him further into the cave.
Bean will move slowly twards erik. "Maybe you could use some herbs to settle them down for the night. Better than being caged or bound. Maybe even using mom's scent."
Bean tries to sooth the ambiance and lighten the mood. "Good news is it seems this cave is more than good enough for our purposes of survival. If it just takes time to help the cubs its not the worst thing, there is even a pool of water collecting in the corner"
Noticing Torla questioning about the water, Bean guides her to the pool that is 3ft by 5ft. (How deep?)
Erik will slowly sit down against the wall near the cubs. Not close enough to scare them more, but close enough that they can see and smell him. He'll remove his shirt and set it on the ground between him and the cubs, as a kind of blanket they can curl up with if they decide to come close. He won't attempt to do anything else with them unless they come to him. He'll stay up the whole night just watching them if he has to, his dagger lying on the ground on his opposite side just in case he needs it. If neither cub makes any move towards him by morning he'll consider it a lost cause.
He'll stare daggers at any of the others who try to get too close.
(OoC: He'll attempt one more AH check, but not until morning, after the cubs have had time to get used to his scent and presence. And on that note, I'm done for the night. Have to get to work.)
Tyrvan sits outside the cave entrance. The mewling of the panther cubs has yet to cease and it looks like the ranger is not planning on putting them out of their misery anytime soon.
Tyrvan moves to set up a watch outside of the cave. He isn’t going to sleep in the cave with the incessant mewling anyways. Might as well make sure no other panthers or some other beastie come investigating the cries.

OoC: I'll take advantage on the Handle Animal check then, if that's possible! ;)

Big enough for all of us? Structurally sound?
