Imras and Tyrvan, as you look around the small pool of water for anything that can carry it. You both hear rustling in the dense brush just ahead of you. Instinctively going for your weapons, You are Surprised by what you see. The Man stepping out of the Brush, Wielding a bow in one hand with a arrow nocked in it, Is Erik a fellow shipmate and Deckhand aboard the Venture. He looks equally surprised to see the both of you.

Erik quickly lowers his bow but doesn't un-nock the arrow.
"Other survivors?" he says with more than a hint of surprise in his voice. "I thought I was the only one who made it!"
He'll remain cautious until he sees how the others react. If they lower their own weapons he'll relax more.
(OOC: Afraid this will be my only post for the evening. I work nights and have to get going. If you guys start to progress quickly while I'm out, DM has my permission to play Erik until tomorrow.)
Torla takes back her mace. Having said her piece about poison, she retreats back to the pile of clothes. She begins to search through with the idea of fashioning some sort of bag.
Rolled an 18 for investigation (looking through the pile) and a 17 for survival (fashioning a makeshift bag).
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Bean follows Torla. "Bite the arrow, its a turn of phrase meaning take the chance, instead of letting someone else do it. Even if its bad"
Berry perception: 19
"Like i said. I always have this kind of luck. I cant say i was prepared for this but it doesnt really surprise me now that im in this predicament. So if i can try to ease the situation for anyone else today it will be a sucess, and we can count our blessings".
Bean hesitates. Thinking he may have made the situation worse. Mutters a quick phrase with negative connotation over his shoulder twards the ocean and quickly looks back to Torla with a smile on his face
Torla, Most of the clothes that washed up are of very poor quality. Alot of holes and alot of thin material, you manage to tie some together to act as a means of carrying small amounts of things.
Bean, Unfortunately no fish have even come close to the berry. It is still sitting were you left it tho it does see a little shriveled. Most of the juice has run out of it.

Torla sighs, not looking up from her activity of searching through and sorting the pieces of clothing as she addresses the gnome. "We need food, water and shelter. Not necessarily in that order. Once we've established some sort of survival, we need to search the island. Perhaps we can find help living right here. Perhaps not, but we should rule that out. If we're on our own, I, for one, will want to figure out a way off the island." At this point, she looks up and briefly catches Bean's eye before directing her gaze over his left shoulder. "But my duty is to heal. If I am needed here, I will stay." She goes back to looking through the clothes with another sigh.
Imras lowers his dagger as he recognizes Erik and the other man lowers his crossbow. Erik! How did you survive? We thought we wer the only ones, we made it on the lifeboat.
OOC: Caught in a refresh delay. Didn't read your message posted a little before mine, Reigntail, until just now. That changes my last post a little. This is the updated post:

Uh ... the tall ones?"
"I'm pretty sure they went off exploren the island some, also are ye calling me short, oh wait earlier you said you could detect poison, could you check this fruit please" Brystal says handing over the green fruit

Erik's demeanor changes completely from one on edge to a more relaxed state. "I thought i was the only one who made it! I washed up a little ways down the beach and made my way in land to find food."
After 15 minutes of scavenging the beach for Dry drift wood and there is plenty of it. During those 15 minutes you scavenge near 20 arm fulls of dry wood. Enough to keep a fire burning for at least a day. Picking threw the rocks on the beach, you find what amounts to 3 Small pieces of Flint rock. Preparing a Tinder base and having the driest of the wood on hand, you commence to striking your blade with the flint. Sparks are flying but nothing is catching. You are starting to get really thirsty at this point Bean.

Imras follows the group back to the beach. We found a small pool of water back there a short ways. He points back the direction they came from. It's a bit dirty, and looks like just some gathered rainwater, but it's better than nothing. Enough for us to get some water in us until we can find a better source at least.
Erik lets out an audible sigh of relief upon seeing the others on the beach. Having five companions at his side would certainly be better than trying to struggle on his own.
"Yeah, I seem to still be in one piece at least. Woke up about two hours ago I'd wager, back down the beach aways." He motions with his arm to indicate the direction, but then lowers it as his face turns somber. "There's a number of others that washed ashore as well, but I couldn't find a single other person breathing. Would have liked to take the time to bury 'em, but I reckon surviving has to come before that, unfortunately."
He glances about at the evidence of everyone's activity on the beach.
"I see some fruit gathered here, any luck identifying any of it?" As he says this, he takes a closer look at the gnome, a concerned look crossing his face. "Are you alright, little guy? You look a bit hot and bothered. Need some water or something?"
Before the three men exited the trees, Tola responded to Brythel, "I can detect poison and even purify it, but it takes a lot out of me. It would be better if I could wait until we have a larger quantity, or at least one of each choice so I could detect on each all at once."
Torla's face visibly brightens as she sees Erik step onto the beach. She joins Brythel and Bean as they approach. As she listens to Erik's tale, her face goes somber again. "Was the captain among those that washed ashore?" Then, she realizes what Erik said to Bean and turns to him. "We should get some water in you. Could one of you men lead him back to the pool? And, does anyone have a water skin?"
Bean squints from the sunlight as he looks up from his attempts to start the first tinder plug. Engaging Erik and Torla.
"Aye, im no worse for wear, but i am quite thirsty, so thank you, yes please help me find that pool. I had kind of ignored my own needs while trying to help. You guys are already making this easier."
Bean gets up and places his prepared tinder in a visually open spot near the tree line.
"I agree with you, its gona make moral worse to see our fellow ship mates corpses washed up, but they wouldnt want their last rights untill it no longer risked our survivability"
Bean stares downward and looks as though he starts shrinking under a small shadow for a second and then angrily throws a sneer to the left. And then grumbles in the same direction. "Shut up you stupid thing, you've been at this for nearly fifty years. I Ain't off'n myself just so you can leave."
Bean recollects himself and continues the conversation with Torla and Erik. "Right, water" and rubs his hands together eagerly
