Her eyes smolder and crackle with electricity, and her face seems to streak with black veins - "Don't touch me! Dfpk oaad!" she growls through sharpened teet,h ripping her arm away. She clears her throat, calming down somewhat. "I heard someone. I don't know who, but there was something familiar about their voice."
The group gets back together as they start down the SE area of the cave. Before they continue on, Lanky sends his bat to completely verify that there isn't anything past the rubble and he feels satisfied that there is not. Echo comes back and lands on his head for a little break as they continue on.
Arara, by the direction of Elirion, flys around the first couple of alcoves. The one on the West does a quick loop, so she continues through that one. The one on the East continues on, so she returns after a bit, but then notices another quick loop that she flies around. She doesn't see anything of note beyond what they have seen so far.
As something seems to have ahold of Tastie, somehow though no one quite knows how, prickles begin to creep up the back of your neck, you no longer feel as though it's just the six of you in the cave.
After Tastie's reaction, Gabin:
"Please, I don't think I can hold on much longer" the voice, it's so familiar, yet you can't place it.
Gabin backs off in surprise, hands raised in apology. "Sorry, sorry. Are... a-are you sure you're okay? Wait..."Gabin hesitates for a moment. "I hear someone too. It's got to be a trick, right? more meanlocks perhaps? But what if it isn't?"
Seeing Gabin look hurt and surprised, she feels a bit embarrassed. But she holds her head high. "People sometimes think they can just do whatever they want, without asking if it's okay," she looks at Elirion, wondering if she feels the same. Tastie shakes her head. "I'm sorry...this place..." she shivers. "Just don't touch me, okay? Or at least ask first."
Tastie tries a different tactic, trying to dredge up any memories she has of this voice....[can i remember anything about it?]
"Who are you? Where are you?" she thinks in her head, wondering if that works...
Tastie, as you pause to try and place the voice in your head, you struggle as it isn't all that familiar, just a bit. You're just about to move on when a thought threads through your mind.. "What weasel? Bored? Well, I'm not bored and I'm definitely not a weasel, ma'am. But do you need a drink?" ...
Tastie’s brow furrows in deep thought - an extremely unpleasant and rare condition for the tiefling - her eyes widen as she gasps. “The bartender! It’s his voice! That’s where I recognize it from! That’s the voice I’m hearing! Gabin! Think - is it the same?” She looks at Lanky worriedly...
Lanky shakes his head. “I don’t hear anything but I might have an idea how Gabin heard a voice…I don’t know how you started hearing the voice Tastie, but I think um…contact was kind of like a…what is the word for it… an outlet for Gabin to hear them? If uh you don’t mind me touching your shoulder and um maybe then I can hear them too? I am not sure it’s probably a dumb idea and a coincidence.”
if he has permission he gently touches Tastie’s shoulder.
Remi heads to the first 4 way intersection and crouches down, listening, feeling the ground, looking through the dark, trying to ascertain where this may be coming from.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Elirion realizes she recognizes the boys voice as the young bartender from Maerin. Pleading for his life.
As Lanky slowly reaches for Tastie's arm, she looks at him and for a split second, he doesn't see Tastie's face anymore, instead he sees him. The spirit he has been fighting in his mind his entire life, laughing at him, taunting him, and then it is Tastie's face again.
As you all get deeper into the caverns you notice that the walls, floor and ceiling are all starting to be covered in a thick moss. Squishes when you walk on it and makes it difficult to move without sound.
Elirion turns to Tastie, "I think you were right. I recognised the voice of the young barkeep." She looks around the cavern in open curiosity, "Whatever is here seems to either know the town's residents, or is able to turn our memories against us. If anyone else hears a strange voice, try to work out who it is...there may be a pattern we can identify. Or an area."
Looking around a final time, she moves to the centre of the group and sends Arara back to Remi's shoulder.
Gabin turns to look at Tastie with concern. Grabbing her arm, he gives her a light shake. "Hey, are you okay? What's going on?"

Gabin, you can’t seem to place where the voice is from
Gabin shakes his head regretfully. "I honestly can't say. I heard the voice clearly, but when I try to recall the sound of it... nothing."
Lanky shakes his head. “I don’t hear anything but I might have an idea how Gabin heard a voice…I don’t know how you started hearing the voice Tastie, but I think um…contact was kind of like a…what is the word for it… an outlet for Gabin to hear them? Upon hearing Tastie's theory, Elirion wonders where she might have heard the voice before.

She continues on with everyone else as she ponder this, sending Arara ahead with Remi.
Elirion realizes she recognizes the boys voice as the young bartender from Maerin. Pleading for his life.

Gabin pulls out his mace uncomfortably and continues walking along behind Remi, looking down every side passage for threats.

Remi continues southward, looking for the source. He is looking for more of the strange creatures.
