Astro comes rolling down the ramp just blasting out a series of beeps, *BEEP BEEP BEEP, BEEP BEEP*!
Zolo comes rushing after him, "Woa! Take it easy there bud!" He grabs Astro and kind of 'rolls' him backwards. "Sorry bout that, my friend's a little cranky, bad run in with some hired killers."
Zolo comes forward a bit closer to the Toydarian, "He's right though, that's a rip and you know it, you're basically giving us the scraper price. It's not the newest ship but it sure isn't scrap. 5,000cr?" Zolo taps the side of the ship, "The hull alone is worth at least 5,000, it's intact and functional. Not to mention the reactor, coupling, and shields. Sure they're beat up, but they work. Those are easily worth 3,000 combined"
He walks over to the turrets, "And these guns right here, the hardware is all there, like you said they just need a new converter. Hell, you give me one and I'll install it for your right now. These babies right here could go for 2,000cr easy if I sold them on their own."
He steps back and crosses his arms, looking back at the Toydarian, "All in all, I figure 10,000cr is a fair price, and honestly I think I'm still underselling it since it still flies safely. If I had my way I'd sell it for 15,000. But as it happens I don't want to waste my time flying around, burning up fuel."
"So? Whaddya say? Does that sound reasonable? Or should we go next door?" Zolo stares directly at the floating Troy.
He smiles "You have good eyes boys. But as I said before my price is five thousand. You think i'm cheap wait till you go somewhere else and they try and buy it from you for five hundred credits"
In flawless Toydarian. "No deal." Korvo's tone changes from sarcastic to firm. "There's literally a dozen starports and thousands of ship merchants on this planet. We don't have to trade with the one who doesn't have any credits to give."
"Greeds not exactly a bad thing. It is humanoid nature. Everything wants more of what they have, Or something they don't have"
Korvo shakes his head, "Well, what good is a greed so deep no one wants to do business with you at all? I know a light freighter is worth 100,000 credits brand new, and I know an old beat up one is depreciated - everyone knows that. But 5,000 credits? A new speeder car is four times that! You're not greedy, you're insulting! You're telling us an entire working ship is worth less than a speeder! Or a good sniper rifle! If we were going to take a hit it'd be something like 20%, even Zolo offering 15,000 was crazy. You're going to sell this thing for 50,000 with only a few thousand in cosmetic upgrades, easily. What are we doing pal, are we making a smart deal or are we walking?"

"Well now your just sounding hostile. Also i have asked to see the inside. That's where all the important things are. I'm starting at five thousand based on what i can see outside, Which isn't a lot. But you have refused to let me on board, And are now upset that i'm not raising the price based solely on the outside of your ship. If you think im being greedy you would be correct. But I dont like being unfair. So I will ask again. May I go onto the ship and inspect it"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
“Absolutely. I think you will be impressed with how clean it is. You will have no trouble at all selling this one quickly- I think you will find our knowledge of the value here is more accurate than you think.. “ Fayva leads him up the ramp onto the ship, pointing out the features as she goes. She takes a breath and gives herself force guidance on her persuasion check.
11 plus 1 persuasion on the inside tour with help.
he takes a look around "Well it is certainly clean. very cramped though. That lessens the value. Not by much" He keeps looking around "Thirteen thousand credits for it. Thats what i got for you"
Fayva smiles. “. We could have gotten more than that from the Jawa. I’m afraid this Guide to Toydaria is completely wrong- I’ll have to complain to the editors. (Here holding her datapad) Besides- this space isn’t really cramped- it’s all a matter of perspective. It’s cozy! Plenty of room in here for one of the smaller races, after all!
We’re interested In dealing with you on modifications on our other ship- and we’re the type of customers who will be coming back in the future if you treat us right. You can’t do better than that on the price?”
Zolo gestures for the rest of the group to move further back so we can talk in private. At a low whisper Zolo will say, "Well I would love to get more, but given how this went I have a feeling we'll have the same problem. 13k ain't half bad, we might lose some credz but it'll save us the headache of flying around arguing with different buyers."
Once the group is alone, Fayva says “Now what- shopping? Want to make some modifications? Or get off this planet? We can split evenly- or spend some on the ship and split what’s left. I’d like to get a spacesuit and maybe some grenades”.

He shrugs "Your loss then"
Under his breath Korvo mutters, "Forgot how greedy these bastards can be!"

"I could go higher but i dont want too. Take the price or leave it"
“Well -I gotta ask my companions,” Fayva says” 13K- what do you all think?”
Zolo gestures for the rest of the group to move further back so we can talk in private. “I agree” Fayva says. “We have a saying on Mikkia ‘a Tuagut in the tendrils is worth two n the Vrexhabs’. I think we go with this and keep moving”
Korvo sighs. "Sounds good to me."
“Well you are a tough negotiator, we agree to your terms” Fayva says. She accepts the credits.
