The child nods frantically at your words Lefaris as they too notice the approaching flock. Some of the sheep are moving faster now, their growling barks becoming more urgent. They run toward the distant farm house urging you to follow. You have mere moments before the first of the flock will be upon you.
The chase is on!
(As you all run flat out toward the distant farm house you may each take one action per round to either speed up your flight or slow down the flock as they give chase)
Since Chonk is the quickest in the group with the ability to Dash up to 70’ per round, he will shepherd the party and urge them to run as fast as they can. No-one will be left behind.
If there is any opportunity to pick up a rock and hurl it backwards, he’ll take it. But not if it endangers himself or the party.
"to the farm." Lefaris says, dashing in that direction. She is running full-out, having little she can do to slow down the sheep without putting the others in danger.
Guroz you snatch up the child and run. Lefaris you surge ahead of the others as Chonk uses his energy to keep them moving forward at a pace. Thanks to your support Chonk, Sindri and Guroz manage to keep pace with the group.
You are all a good way across the valley now with the farm house looming ahead. Around you the flock continue to close in.
Round 2 (One action each to keep ahead of the flock!)
(Sorry, could we get an answer to Chonk’s question then I’ll edit my post? I was figuring we were doing alright running and I could do an illusion if needed)
Lefaris is continuing to run towards the farm. She would wish to have a specific goal in mind, somewhere to get inside and safe from the sheep, prior to doing any other action. If you can tell us what the distances are to safe-harbor options, that would be useful for planning next actions.
Chonk you guess that the first round of effort took you all a third of the distance. (So at this rate you will reach the farm house door in three rounds) There are no significant obstacles in the way. You also see that you are keeping just ahead of the flock as they close in from either side.
Give me another charisma roll if you are repeating last rounds tactic.
(Lol apologies, it’s a chase so I was aiming for panic and bewilderment. Go with your gut and be creative, what’s the worse that can happen?)
You all keep your heads down and charge forward toward the farm house. Chonk your rousing encouragement does not quite do the job this time as Sindri and Guroz begin to lag behind.
Sindri you are pushing with all your might but keeping pace with your companions is proving tough. One of the mutations surges forward and nearly gets to you but from out of nowhere Pwok darts out and pecks the beast hard in the eye and it falters and falls away long enough for you to escape its bite. The chicken gives a triumphant PWOK! and races forward to run at your side.
Guroz, while you are more than strong enough to run with the child they do however impact your speed enough to make it difficult to keep pace with your unencumbered companions. The little one is crying softly on your shoulder as the sounds of the grotesque beasts grow closer.
The flock are gaining ground now and a few of them are at your heels. The farm house is so close... if you can just make it to that door!
Round 3 (Take one last action and give me a Dex roll as you reach your destination)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Sindri's mouth drops open at the sight of her little friend protecting her, but, she thinks, she can't stop now! She continues to dash even with Chonk starting to yell curses at them ;)

Chonk give me a Charisma roll as you attempt to expend some of your natural speed to hustle the rest of the group forward.

Sindri uses all motion she can to get her as far as possible. Her short little legs only get her 50 feet
"to the farm." Lefaris says, dashing in that direction. She is running full-out, having little she can do to slow down the sheep without putting the others in danger.
"You're coming with me, kid!" Guroz leaps into action hopes to scoop up the child and running on, "to the farm!"

Sindri looks at Chonk with appreciation and continues her all out run towards the farm
(Are we outpacing the sheep? Building a lead?)
Chonk is looking for a fence we can get behind, or a door (barn door or farm house door)
Perception: 20
With winded breath, he shouts, “Can someone distract them with an illusion?”
Action is continued Dash and guard dogging the party.
