"I would never dare question your groups physical capabilities, nor your want or need for coin. I saw how you handled the Sahuagin on the shore. I know your group is quite capable, and that's why I'm asking you to do it. My crew is too inexperienced and not nearly..." Blossom proceeds to eye you up and down. "Well equipped enough to handle such a task, which you and your friends clearly are." Blossom pushes you back just enough to get out from the desk and makes her way to the bed, moving behind the movable privacy wall. She moves it between you and her so it blocks her and proceeds to take off some of her clothes, with only a silhouette showing through the privacy wall. She increases her volume just a bit to project her voice over the wall. "As far as the properties of the staff, that I cannot tell you as I, myself, am unsure of it's capabilities. Could it have played a part in the quake, maybe, maybe not."
Auraani;
As you approach the man, you see that he isn't too old, maybe mid 30s if you had to guess and he appears to be pacing slightly, as if he's getting impatient. He sees you approaching and his pacing stops, and is quickly replaced with a slight tapping of his foot, a show that he might be nervous. When you begin to speak, he begins to play with his fingers, trying to calm himself down. Unsure how to answer the questions thrown at him, he tries to tackle them one at a time. "H... Hi Auraani... My name is Kijori, I'm from Port Damali.. Oh wait, you didn't ask that... What did you ask? Oh yeah.. What do I know about the ship and how long have I been apart of the crew.." He pauses for a moment as he looks around.
You can tell by this point, that his nervousness is most likely because of one of two reasons, either he finds you attractive and is unsure how to speak to you, or he finds you intimidating and again, is unsure how to speak to you. "Well, I don't believe you would want to hurt those that you just saved, so I suppose I can tell you just a little bit of something." He leans in to whisper to you. "This is a pirate ship... But I just found out, I have only been here a couple months." Right when you think one would stop, he continues. "I don't believe the captain and crew want to hurt anyone, they seem to only be interested in lost treasures."
Any watches his companion approach the navigator and decides to go talk to the young male elf. “Hello There! I’m Ant. I lived in Palma…lost nearly everything. Where do you hail from?”
The Sea Elf watches as you approach, keeping a careful eye on you as he is unsure of your intentions. When you begin to speak, his careful look turns into that of a confused one, as he is unsure why someone would just share this information. "Uhh... Hi Ant... I'm sorry for your loss... I'm from Port Zoon, are you okay? Do you need anything?" Trying to be accomadating his continues. "I'm new here so I might not be able to find exactly what you need, but I can try."
Ant sadly looks out to sea"Thank you mr. uh, I am sorry I did not catch your name? This has been a difficult time...Those sea creatures came out of no where killing so many people....Being new to this transport ship, have you run into much trouble?"
"My name isDillyu, no, I haven't seen any trouble. This is the first time I've seen something like that. I wish I could go out there and take a couple out..." He pauses for a moment and looks out to the sea with you. "Those things killed my family, they deserve no mercy."
Malirys rolls her eyes, knowing Blossom can’t see her on this side of the divide. Funny how plans have a way of being tossed ‘n turned by the ocean’s whims…
she begins to undress, determined to do whatever it takes to find this staff, and make sure it’s magic wasn’t dunomantic in nature… something with enough gravitational power to pull down an island would surely be too powerful to leave drifting about in the world at large…
her mind wandering back to the Tabaxi task at hand. gazing again toward blossom’s nude silhouette, she declared with the voice of a teacher orating a lesson: “I assure you, I am quite capable at all times; even at my least equipped…” (fade to black as she follows suit)
Malirys is seen coming out of the captains chambers an hour later, wearing the smirk of a good detective on the trail of something promising.
"I understand your animosity towards those creatures. Perhaps we will be lucky enough to find some on our travels. How long have you been on this ship transporting people to and fro?"
Blossom is shocked when you appear from the other side of the privacy wall and jumps back against the actual wall. She gives you a grin and allows you to Fade to Black. During the Fade to Black, you can tell that she comes off as one that likes to be in charge.
Ant;
"Only a couple days. When they were docked at Port Zoon, they said they needed new members, and I wasn't doing anything back home, so I decided why not. What about you? How long were you living in Palma?" Dillyu asks, finding comfort in tragedy. He doesn't address the hand, but continues to look out at the sea.
"I have lived in Palma for several years. I traveled about the realm, joined a traveling circus at one point, learned a few tricks, and settled there. I did odds and ends sort of jobs for the villagers. I admit this is the first time I have seen this ship pull up to Palma transporting people. It was lucky for me it had shown up as I was protecting people on a bridge before attacking those sea creatures on the beach. How do you like your few days on board so far?"
"It's hard to say, kind of too early to tell, and with everything that has happened, it would be wrong of me to make judgement based on what has happened thus far." Realizing that he has some things to take care of, he turns toward Ant and smiles. "Thank you for this conversation but I have a couple things I must tend to. Try and get some rest will ya."

Auraani smiles at the man and places a firm and reassuring hand on his upper arm. "The fact that this ship has helped the people thus far makes me want to believe they intend the people no harm. As long as that remains true, we will work with this crew amicably for as long as it takes to resolve this matter. Thank you for sharing with me Kijori. If I might ask, what is your opinion of the captain? Your answer will stay with me, I can promise you that."
Kijori's hands and feet relax as you place a hand on his arm. He starts to blush but answers your question, this time with less stuttering and confusion. And in the same whispering tone he responds "Well, between you and me..." He pauses, as if he's going to tell you something damning, but instead says. "She's not that bad. It appears she cares for the crew and I've even seen her help out a few people during my time here." He stops and pauses for a moment before continuing. "However, I'm unsure how she maintains the ship. We don't really transport anyone besides people from time to time, and as far as I know, we don't accept money for it. But besides that, she's great."

Malirys looks for the party. Not seeing korgan, she snoops around to find him, along the way instinctually going into her investigative ways but not in an obtrusive way that could be construed as inappropriate. When paying crew members who glance her way, asking, “…have you seen my friend…?” But too busy to await a response.
Kijori's mannerisms and movements don't seem to lead you to believe he's being misleading.
Korgen;
You are able to quietly make your way around the ship, but do not see anything out of place, however you do find a large amount of iron-tipped ballista bolts in the hold, which you can assume are for the two ballistae that are attached to the stern of the ship.
Malirys;
You browse the ship, not so quietly, getting odd looks from ship mates and any awake refugees. After a few moments, you see Korgen coming up from the ship's hold.
After a couple hours of exploring the ship, talking to crewmates, and extracurricular activities, you all gather together back up on the top deck, discussing anything you might have found, and getting ready for sleep. To anyone looking out over the edge of the ship, out to the open ocean, you see what looks like a silhouette of island, with mountains standing tall on the land mass. As you watch it, you see what looks like the island begin to sink. After some time, the island completely disappears under the water and resurfaces a half hour later.
To anyone looking at Malirys, you can see that she has a scratch on her face that travels the length of her cheek, which by all accounts, you might not remember her having before entering the captains quarters.
(Feel free to use this time to discuss what you have found, I will continue us along later.)
Malirys wears her slight facial scratch proudly, looking forward to both the possibility of finding the staff and it being quite powerful; and finding it and it being weak enough to give up for the gold. She wonders just how powerful her new travel companions are, and what their interests are in this life.

“Korgen! Ready to go staffing? I think we’ll need some snorkeling equipment if we have any hope of surviving this dive….”
“The captain said the staff might have caused the island sinking so it’s worth our efforts to investigate if you are willing…. where are the others?”
Korgen shrugs. “Not sure, I assume they’re chatting up folks topside. But staffing, yeah, sure.“
