Kathleen smiles nervously. She doesn't know how to deal with a teammate being sad over the death of an enemy monster. She still tries her best and says,
"Er, well, think of it this way, in the wild-" She stops herself as she realizes that giving a nature based example would not be the best thing to do as Gris probably knows a lot more about nature than she does. She tries to comes up with something different to say but can't. So she resorts patting him on the back and standing there awkwardly for sometime. (Listening if Gris says anything else) She then turns to Adoy and congratulates him for his powerful attack.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Adoy says to the others.
"I take no pleasure in killing this creature, I do not think it was in it's right mind. Something very unnatural has happened here. "Bad Meat" it said, I wonder what that could mean."
He will examine the body of Vrock for any sign of what could make it behave in such a way. nature15
"Ayoola, can you sense if there was any sort of magic acting on this creature?"
"I do not think we should eat this Vrock in case of any lingering dark magic, in fact It may be safer to burn it to prevent other scavengers getting infected. However I do not think the smaller vulture would be contaminated as it behaved normally before Vrock showed up. It is possible Vrock had some sort of mental influence on them that drove them mad."
Gris to Kathleen "in the wild you kill to survive. In the wild you do not kill for shiny things nor for pleasure of important people.. Maybe we did not have to fight this time..or maybe we had to.."
Gris takes vulture (the animal not the monster) by legs and brings him to the cart
"Hmm.. Perhaps you are right, however I've never met a vulture who spoke common before today, regardless of size. I can't help but wonder if this creature's condition is somehow connected to the disappearance of Gris' people, though I can not yet see how. Whatever the case, I fear some dark forces may be gathering."
Kathleen walks over to the cart. Her smile drops as she notices Dwinkle come out of it. She doesn't say anything but glares at him. Then she lets out a sigh and goes back to enjoying the scenery.
Night draws ever nearer, unlike the mountains you can faintly make out in the far distance, and some lightning bugs have decided to investigate your campsite.
If I am not mistaken, you have not eaten since the morning.
If the other characters don't immediately go to bed, Kathleen will ask if anyone wishes to join her on her walk. She will walk around and explore the place they are in for about 2 hours or until someone calls out to her.
If the other characters plan to go to bed, Kathleen will volunteer to be on first watch and would ask who else wants to stand watch with her.
I wanted to wait to see what the others say but I'm really sleepy so I'm going to go to bed now.

"So who is the cooking master here?"
"I can't sense magic apart from my own," Ayoola replies to Adoy. with a shrug. "Sorry. As for the "bad meat", I thought it meant us, for killing it."

Unfortunately, Adoy's examination reveals nothing unusual.

Dwinkle finally pokes his head out of the cart.
"Straw all over my clothes! And them just shipped out of Elesmera! Honestly, vultures! Nasty scavenging things."

The dwarf cannot hold your gaze and turns away before you do.

Gris sits on the ground and starts preparing vulture for cooking (he tears out feathers)
"So what now? We camp here or move?"
"I think we should rest, I am feeling rather drained." says Adoy
Ayoola agrees: "Yeah, let's rest."
"A rest sounds lovely. That means I'll be able to take a walk after we eat." Kathleen's enthusiasm and cheerful attitude has returned.

Ennis isn't opposed to taking a walk or standing watch with Kathleen.
Goodnight.
