When Delphinium casts Faerie Fire, nothing lights up. The coin passes through, and the staff goes into and back out of the perceived barrier without obstruction. It's as though nothing is there.
Delphinium looking around for a way to get past this barrier tried multiple angles to get around. Being unable to escape they listen to Godshell about how their boulder may of upset some divine force. Delphiniium gets all upset about that. "WHAT! I asked before throwing it. If someone didn't want me to throw a boulder in it they shouldn't of made it so suspicious! Who would ever trust a run down building next to a nest of monsters trying to lure you in? Gah! Why do people in this world make things so difficult!" They continue to try and get out and around the barrier to the others like a moth bagging up against a window over and over.
Seeing yhat items can be passed through Delph sighed and tried to think about what they could do. They could hand the triforce to the other. It was worth a try right? Delph also liked the idea of using the mirror. Delph could just deliver and be done. Delph is already a bit miffed that the triforce is so much more powerful then they thought.
"Alright. Alright. Here I'll..." The fsiry was about to hand the triforce over to them but then the voice came. The wings of delph begin to flap even faster making an angry bee buzzing noise at the sound of the voice. They don't like this at all. It feels to the fairy like they are trapped and trapping a fairy is very very very rude. They try to figure out the direction of the voice so they can face it and says "I did think this would be easy. It already was, but you made it complicated. Who are you?"
If they didn't before they do now have their Astral arms and visage active. They flutter backwards facing the direction they heard the voice and says to Godshell or Rum or whoever is close. "Give me the mirror. We need to make sure nothing bad gets the triforce. As much as it makes me grumpy... it's very very strong." Delph doesn't stop looking around trying to get a sense of where the voice is. They are ready for any attack.
Slade shudders at the voice, then steeling himself he has Darla approach where this barrier seems to be and creates a glowing green mage hand by Delph.
"Quick lad, hand over the Triforce! If ye can't pass mayhaps the hand will, I'll send it to Rum for the mirror!."
Rum looks to the distance where the voice booms, he eyes narrowed.
"Always our enemies are a step ahead", he curses. "No time to be distracted, we must be quick. Do as Slade asks, Delph. Either the Triforce comes to the mirror or we'll send the mirror goes to the Triforce".
He then focusses on the direction of the voice again, trying to see whether there was any sign of anything coming their way, or if it was the way the Tarrasque was moving.
Delph will say "Be careful. If I was aiming to steal this I'd be timing for the hand off. We need to do it in a way it can't be taken during that." Delph will still have the triforce tied to them for security. If they can find a way to hand it to Rum or the others without it being exposed to such a ploy they will do so otherwise they want the mirror.
"I understand that Delph, but the longer we wait the longer the beast has to escape before we can stop it. Please lad, I will make sure the Triforce goes where it's needed to be."
Turning to Rum, "Give me the mirror, once I have the piece I will send it through."
Delph gets right up against the barrier as close to Slade with the mirror as they can. They use their Astral arm to see if they can pass through the barrier or not. Testing this thing that has them trapped and making them very upset. Either way they hand off the triforce to Slade. Ideally with their Astral arms shielding the transfer from anyone getting close enough to it invisible or not. "Alright, make it quick Slade! Then i guess... ummm... I'm trapped here while you all deal with the big hungry predator." They give the triforce to slade.
The emerald mage hand grips the Triforce as Delph releases it. It whisks the piece directly to Slade.
"I thank ye Delph. What ere may come, Ye aren't a bad lot."
Slade takes the Triforce. In one hand the mirror, in the other the Triforce. Closing his eyes an emerald mist builds up rapidly obscuring Slade and Darla from view, clearing away a moment after revealing that Slade is now gone. With him, the only means to stop the Tarrasque.
The tiny fairy looks on as Slade takes the Triforce and Delph at first was relieved as they took out the mirror and seemed ready to get it to safety. However, delph saw them do something else. They said they seem a nice fairy and of course this is true but then they use a common fey trick and they began to tap into the power of the triforce and green mist began to surround them. "No!Stop!Ihavetogetitback!"
The fairy begins to panic and in their efforts to stop them draw the spear on their back. Now, two powerful items in play the fairy puts it all on the line. They act fast and use the power of the alicorn to either bring them back or go to them. Unsure what the alicorn will do as Delph just holds it tight and says "Pleasehelp." They will their intent to the alicorn. Who knows what will happen next.
Rum watches as Slade takes both the mirror and the Triforce, watching closely to ensure the Triforce gets back to Gandalf. As he spots the green mist, he knows something is going wrong, but he just can't act fast enough to stop it. The mist clears to reveal that Slade is gone.
He veers Keg towards where Slade had been to ensure he wasn't just invisible, but true enough he was gone.
A low growl emits from his throat in that moment, his mind racing trying to come to terms with the fact that he has been betrayed twice in such a short time.
His eyes narrow as they turn to Godshell, Melania and then Delph, seeing the latter draw the Alicorn and just about hearing his plea for help.
Rum let's out a heavy sigh. It was all too fresh; the events at Hyrule Castle and then at Skyloft. Their mission was faltering, the item they were sent to find gone and they had suffered another betrayal.
"For the Great Dragon's sake", he curses in Draconic before taking a deep breath and centring himself.
"Unless you have means to follow them, or to kill the Tarrasque, we have no choice but to carry on with the mission. Hopefully Delph will do his part and see that Slade pays for what he has done", he says.
"We need to make sure those at North Watch and South Watch drop the crater into the sea before the beast makes it out and destroys Skyloft. That will at least give us time. We are short on numbers now. You should both go to South Watch and give the order, then fly on to Skyloft".
"I will go to North Watch".
He waits for but a short moment in case either one had a way to follow Delph and Slade, before directing Keg to North Watch.
The tarrasque doesn't seem to notice the sentient drama carrying out around it. It continues its trek across the crater. Everything that was flying, everything that crawled along the wastes below, fled from its thundering advance and scurried into every available hole and crevice. The beast roars again, the air vibrating as the three Death Hawks sail past it, their wings pumping furiously to allow them to outpace the tarrasque.
The monster isn't toying. It's moving quickly, with purpose, making a beeline toward the Divide, the hole in the middle of the island that allows North and South Watch to be effective. It will take it no time at all to be past the hole, to be past the Watch towns, and then there will be no stopping it from getting to Skyloft.
Rum soars high above the Tarrasque, looking down on the monstrous figure and the now obviously less populated looking Crater. He knows they have to be quick and hopes that Godshell and Melania are sharing his urgency.
He leans in against Keg's neck, "We must as fast as you ever have, Noble Keg. We must get to North Watch in time".
As they fly, he awaits a message through the Auryn, a reply to one he sent as his frantic flight was beginning.

In the distance, there is a deep, booming laugh.
"Did you think this would be so easy?"

Seeing time slipping away from them, Rum does not hesitate in passing the mirror to Slade as quickly and as safely as possible.
He decides holding it out is the best way to achieve that, getting close to Slade and Darla and letting the smaller pair come and retrieve the mirror.
Slade carefully takes the mirror and clutching it to his chest speaks to Delph.
"With the strength lent by me gauntlets and me own agility naught will come between."
