Jek nods as Rum's suggestion, reading to fire a spell off. When he see's Rum become visible mid air, he realizes that Rum wasn't planning to attack from range. "That should have been obvious Jek... Hwenm fli" As the celestial words are said, a tiny shadow that seems to be vibrating leaves Jek's hand and enters Rum's Shadow. It's energy starts to cause Rum's shadow to vibrate with [Tooltip Not Found] right before he lands. "Alright, let's head closer to the other tower!" Jek will say to Porkins in celestial, moving towards the other tower. "Oh, right, I'm visible again."
Porkins Action: Dash to get about 90ft away from the second tower.
Violet follows closely behind whoever looks the toughest (that being Lady Kaede in this case). As the others rush on the unaware stormtroopers, Violet uses her natural talent for magic. As soon as she is within 120 ft of the stormtroopers, she decides to help the team by trying to soften up, or even entirely eliminate, two stormtroopers that haven't been hit by her new allies yet (or, if all of them have been smacked around, the two that look the least beat up). Not one, two, or even three... but SIX of her ten eyes glow with magic as each one shoots a beam of power, three directed at the first stormtrooper and three at the second stormtrooper. She casts scorching ray at 3rd-level to create 4 rays of flame, and uses the Quickened Spell metamagic to cast it as a bonus action. With her action, she casts eldritch blast, with each beam targeting one of the two stormtroopers she has decided to try to destroy.
Greko saunters up and decides subtlety is his best course of action. As his elemental pummels the trooper in the tower Greko decides a little tug of the trooper to pull him from the tower to his death is the best use of his magical talents. I green and white thorny whip emerges from Old Greko's hand spiraling towards the trooper hoping to impale and pull the trooper from the tower
Dwayne's appearance signals the opening volley of a fight that turns bad for the Stormtroopers very quickly. The Earth Elemental shoves spiked rocks arms up and through the bottom of one of the guard towers, destroying the floor and killing the Stormtrooper archer inside instantly.
Kaede's charge immediately after that is devastating. The katana slashes from one side to the other, spilling the cuts of one Stormtrooper before cutting clean through the other. The second dies instantly, but the other goes down while trying to pile it's guts back into its vacated thoracic cavity. The katana turns, coupled now with the offhanded wakizashi, and the two weapons cut terrible wounds into a Stormtrooper caster that stumbles back, spurting blood and barely clinging to life. With Violet charging in behind her firing like some gunslinger, one scorching ray does the deed and ends the suffering foes life.
Rum's sudden appearance neutralizes the eastern guard tower with little effort. The Stormtrooper is dead before Rum's fist are even done, its body ragdolling from blow to blow before collapsing to the floor.
One Stormtrooper that was trying to draw some sort of chemical-vial launcher is set on fire by Violet before being blasted backwards through the air, hitting the ground in an unmoving heap. As her eyestalks sweep around, she doesn't catch just one more Stormtrooper, she catches two, lighting both on fire and sending one flipping backwards to break his neck as he hit the ground at the wrong angle.
Greko, not paying attention per the usual, goes to the wrong tower and misses his attack on the archer with his thorn whip...
Rum watches the stormtrooper fall in slow motion, turning away before it even hits the ground. Strangely he notices his shadow seem to dart off towards the next tower, his physical form following it down the the side of the tower he is on, closing the distance to the tower towards the South and climbing effortlessly up into that one. He perches for a hundredth of a heart beat, cocking his head to the side as he surveys the scene, the storm trooper standing there slowly trying to bring his crossbow to bear on the invaders in the camp.
And then he is on them, pouncing forward to strike with both fists simultaneously and flipping back to land in a crouch. If he connects, the force of the strike pushes the trooper back, potentially over the side of the tower. Twisting his head to see if the trooper still stands, he weighs up what to do next.
If the trooper is down, he looks into the camp for another foe, and heads towards it aiming a kick at that one, followed by another in lightning fast sequence.
Movement: Up to 90 feet across to the southern guard tower and into melee. If that trooper falls, he will rush down into the camp to attack the next trooper Special: Can use Feline Agility to get another 90 feet if needed in the round Action: Unarmed Strike 1: 8+11=19, Damage: 3+8 = 11 [magical bludgeoning] - Crusher: Trooper is pushed 5 feet - hopefully off the tower if he was looking into the camp readying to fire Unarmed Strike 2: 2+11=13, Damage: 3+8 = 11 [magical bludgeoning] Bonus Action: Unarmed Strike 3: 1+11=12, Miss! Haste Action: Unarmed Strike 4: 14+11=25, Damage: 6+8 = 14 [magical bludgeoning] Defense: Until he takes damage any attacks are at disadvantage against him Reaction: He does have reactions, will post again if applicable Special: Haste 2/10 (AC 23)
(OOC: He has up to 180 feet to use, he will look to attack as many troopers as possible, concentrating on each to make sure they drop before moving on)
Violet pauses for a moment as the smell of burnt flesh fills her nostrils... um... did she really just do all that? Yes, she did... it looked rather painful. Oh well, they were a bunch of meanie-heads anyway.
But even so... she's not really feeling like being quite as destructive this round. She remains close to Lady Kaede because Violet likes having a heavily-armored warrior between her and the bad guys while casting spells.
Action: Cast eldritch blast, her two beams targeting two stormtroopers that haven't been hurt yet to soften them up for the next thing she's about to do. EB 1 - Attack: 24, Damage 4 +5 = 9 (Force) EB 2 - Attack: 27, Damage 9+5 = 14 (Force)
Bonus Action: Violet casts a Quickened sleep on top of the two stormtroopers she hit (assuming they both survived the EB attacks) and as many others as she can catch in the area of the spell (kind of hoping the six stormtroopers who are still alive are all just sitting around a campfire so she can hit all of them, but somehow I doubt it will be that easy). She casts her spell at 2rd-level to make absolutely certain that several of them go off to dreamland.
Her spell effects 40HP worth of creatures in its area of effect.
Movement: Violet is perfectly happy to stay behind her meat shields.

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
Another Stormtrooper dies so fast it doesn't even have time to realize they're under attack. The crossbow is coming up as it prepares to aim at hostile forces and then...dead. Falling to the ground, knocked out of the side of the post, while it's attacker goes leaping out the side of the outpost and ninja-kicks the shit out of a half drunk, shirtless, unarmored hobgoblin who looks like he is probably used to being in charge.
There isn't time to put one of Violet's targets to sleep as he's suddenly hit with so much force he goes flying out the back of his guard post and breaks apart in the air, killed by her attack. The other is a bit luckier, getting hit, hitting one of the guard rails of the post, and then promptly passing out as she drops sleep on him.
The Stormtrooper that had previously been nailed by Rum also crumples, caught by her spell and left as a drooling heap on the ground.
Two Stormtroopers remain upright. Both archers. One in one guard out post, one in the other.
One is standing at the rail, mouth agape, watching the massacre, yellow liquid pouring out of the bottom of one breaches leg...
Kaede yells out "BANZAIIIIIIIIIIII!" (Samurai Fighting Spirit) as she continues to rush into the stockade, only this time she quickly sheathes her daishō and pulls out her lacquered and gilded-in-gold bow, and quickly flings two explosive arrows out (one at each of the two archer guards):
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Greko sees Kaede rush ahead and decides to send Dwayne to help. Dwayne lumbers up to one of the troopers and takes a swipe at the poor exploding sap.
Attack#1: Attack: 16 Damage: 15
If that's not enough
Attack #2: Attack: 20 Damage: 11
Greko himself watches the mayhem and walks to the gates. He figures there are traps about like the last encampment, so he stomps his staff on the ground and casts detect magic from his staff. He stands at the gates waiting to see if anything lights up as magical. While he waits for his companions to take care of the troopers and his magic to take effect, he wishes he had taken more snacks for the road.
It is a flawless victory. An arrow sinks into one of the posted guards. The other is mashed into minced meat by Dwayne, who does his terrible work with little muss or fuss.
And like that, the battle is over. Six seconds or so of mayhem comes to an end with Greko the White stepping close to a table where a pile of glazed sweetrolls have been left sitting out, apparently freshly made by the Stormtroopers in their nifty field oven. It's clear by their lack of preparedness that they weren't expecting to be attacked to far from enemy lines, so far into their own, on one of their own MSRs no less.
The bodies lie scattered. Some of the guard towers survive. The tents remain, although there are no obvious weapon stockpiles or chests like at the portal. This camp is a little more spartan in construction...
Violet looks around at the carnage a bit uneasily... then she remembers that two of the stormtroopers are still alive, even if they are unconscious thanks to her sleep ray...
"Hey guys... before we get too excited... what are we going to do with these two? They won't be asleep very much longer..."

Casually, Lady Kaede walks around the battlefield, surveying the results of their successful surprise attack. She periodically skewers any trooper who gives the slightest appearance of still remaining alive (including those two snoozing soldiers). Once that is complete, she’ll search the bodies for any paraphernalia, keys, letters, etc…anything that looks like it may be useful in the coming battles. For surely, there will be coming battles.
Beofre stumbling upon the sweet rolls Greko tells Dwayne to hang by the two sleeping troopers in case he needs to bash them. Upon seeing the freshly baked sweet rolls Greko’s eyes light up. He begins to Luke them in his bag in whatever cloth or paper he can find to wrap them in. Of course not before sampling one
Rum moves at some speed to the centre of the camp.
"AtrivialcontesteasilywonFellowRemnants", he says almost incoherently due to the speed at which he is speaking.
If Jek stops concentrating on the spell, he simply slumps to the ground trying to catch his breath. After a short time he will look around to see if Jek has appeared.
"That was....interesting", he says whether Jek has appeared or not.
With all of the enemy dispatched, Lady Kaede continues to search the corpses for anything useful. "He Old Man Greko? Why don't you make yourself useful, stop eating their treats, and check this encampment for any traps, before we start traipsing around looking for intelligence?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Greko doesn't look up from the table but continues to put the sweet rolls into his bag "Greko has detect magic active....Stay within 30 feet of Greko." As Greko finishes taking all the sweet rolls he begins to slowly walk around for anything useful to the group while having detect magic active
The two prostrate, sleeping troopers only spasm momentarily as Lady Kaede puts them out of their misery, unshackling them from their mortal coils with simple, expert cuts from her katana.
Eerie silence fills the cavern around them. Nothing stirs...
Greko continues through the camp and states matter of factly “This is nothing more than a defense outpost. There’s no magic or traps. Feel free to look for supplies or anything else useful”
Lady Kaede, never the investigatorial-type, searches camp for any useful intelligence, but can't even find any remaining sweet rolls, so she's pretty useless. "Anyone find anything useful in camp or on the bodies? Else, we should move on before any roving troopers find us here."
