Tuto takes his offhand and reaches for his flute, then stops. The situation was already creepy as is, proper music would only give everyone nightmares. That just wouldn't do. With a muffled war cry he lunged for the Soldier that Rum, pummeled, hoping to finish it off.

Steam vents from a port on Oten's neck as he shifts into motion. He steps in front of Lelith, Sorry, and Kora, putting his body square between them and the nearest Gohma, and then his body becomes a cacophony of mechanical noises.
A short javelin slides out from his forearm and into his hand. At the same time, the four arms holding the mechanical case on his back unlatch one by one and swivel. The case folds away from his back and catches itself on two of the mechanical limbs before the other two join it, revealing the whole contraption to be a mechanical quadruped. With a click, a scorpion-like tail telescopes out of the back of the Steel Defender, tipped with a sharp blade.
Oten reverses his grip on the javelin and he brings his hand over his shoulder before launching it at the Gohma lunging at Tuto. A thin steel cable plays out behind hit, and at the end of the javelin's path a gear in Oten's arm clicks and the cable reels the weapon back with a hiss in a split second:
Attack: 26 Damage: 10
His steel defender takes up a position next to Sorry, ready to intercept anything that tries to come for her.
Any enemy within 5 feet of the Steel Defender has disadvantage on attacks targeting someone else.
The javelin cuts a nasty arc between Oten and the lunging Gohma before tearing through the head portion of its body. It falls lifeless at Tuto's feet.
Another of the Gohma Hatchlings go for Ro, but between his armor and the Steel Defender is ineffective. A Gohma Soldier sprays webbing at Rum with no success either.
Sorry slides to one side of the room and draws back her bow and takes two shots. A Gohma next to Ro is split near in half by the first shot, and the second shot buries deep into the abdomen of the Gohma Soldier trying to web Rum.

"Fantastic!" Ro shouted to his mates. Though the elf-dwarf wasn't one to seek out combat, seeing his friends make short work of their enemies inspired him. As another spider emerges from a hole in the floor, Ro runs to meet the spider. The elf-dwarf slides to a halt and takes an exaggerated breathe of air, puffing his chest forward. A static fills the air as Ro exhales a potent wave of lightning at the spiders.
Movement: Moving into position to get as many spiders in range of his dragons' breath while avoiding opportunity attacks and hitting allies in the crossfire.
Action: using Dragon's Breath Damage: 15 lightning (half damage on successful Dex save, DC 15)
Lightning crackles along the surface kd the Gohma that Ro has targeted, frying part of it. It doesn't look like it's having a good time as Kora, bad at following instructions like most Fairies, leaves her friends to surge forward and embue the tiny stick she's using as a staff with Shillelagh before cracking it over the Gohma's head.
Another of the Gohma, the one that looks fittest, juts it's abdomen out and sprays webbing at Greko but only manages to get it all over the floor.
Rum looks around at the bodies of the spiders littering the floor, and the ones that are left standing. He charges towards the fittest looking one that tried to web Greko, leaping at it with a flying kick. As the blow connects (on whatever it hits), acidic goo covers the area as he channels draconic energy into the strike. He pushes off with his one leg, somersaulting back and aiming a sharp series of two quick-fire punches at the eye of the creature, this time wreathed in lightning.
Movement: Heads to the Gohma that tried to web Greko Action: Unarmed Strike (Draconic Strike): (3, 3)+8=11 Damage: 1+6=7 [Acid] (added advantage for flanking) Bonus Action: 1 Ki point - Flurry of blows: Unarmed Strike 1 (Draconic Strike): (11, 12) +8=20 Damage: 2+6=8 [Lightning] (added advantage for flanking) Unarmed Strike 2 (Draconic Strike): (8, 20)+8=28[crit] Damage: (4+4)+6=14 [Lightning] (added advantage for flanking) Defense: Until he takes damage any attacks are at disadvantage against him Reaction: He does have reactions, will post again if applicable
Rum and Tuto's combined assault puts down the Gohma next to Ro, while Lelith's arrow cuts down another of the soldiers. One is left alive, and it drags itself across the room with half its legs and part of its brains, if they are brains, hanging out. It doesn't seem to be doing well as it tries to bite Oten.

Oten turns his head to make sure no more are coming up behind the group, and in so doing fails to see the Gohma dragging itself towards him. As it bites Oten's leg, it seems to find a gap in his plating at the ankle joint and its mandibles sink in. Oten snaps his head back around and immediately thrusts his javelin down through its exposed brain matter, skewering the beast. Pulling the javelin back up with a squelch, he attempts to shake the vile thing off of his leg.
Rum watches Tuto jump in a high arc over the spider creature and dispatch it, smiling and nodding in appreciation of the gnomes acrobatic skill.
He then looks around the room to see Oten finish off the last of them.
He wanders over to a barrel and attempts to roll it over the nearest hole.
”We should cover these holes to stop any more appearing whilst we make a plan. Or at least cover three of them and funnel any other creatures through one”, he suggests as he starts to exert himself.
Oten's steel defender stations itself over one hole, tail blade poised to strike while Oten grabs a barrel for himself and begins to bring it over to the hole. "That seems prudent. Anything we can do to avoid presenting our backs to the enemy can only serve our tactical advantage. I must also say, that was well fought. We have kept our casualties to 0. Please feel free in upcoming skirmishes to take shelter behind me so as to preserve your vulnerable meat-based bodies."
When the last gohma falls, Ro relaxes his posture. "A good fight indeed, Oten. Allow me to help you Rum, don't want anymore of these things springing up on us."
The elf-dwarf grabbed the nearest barrel and attempted to roll it over one of the holes in the floor.
"You are useful, in your own way." Lelith offered a nod to Oten begrudgingly. It was the equivalent of heartfelt thanks from her at the very least. She had taken note when he kept her, Sorry and Kora protected behind him. She looked on amused as her companions rolled the barrels around, she did not partake in the tedious manual activity but rather busied herself recovering her arrows and cleaning them. She took the opportunity to transfer her belongings to the Sheikah bag. She made sure to go check on Sorry and Kora for injuries, discomfort, anything.
"Thanks", Rum replies to Ro. "You were interested in that crate over there before these things attacked. Did you find something of interest?", he asks as he carries on shifting barrels.
"Ah yes, the crate." Ro places the barrel over the hole and pauses to stare at the crate he attempted to open earlier. "When we first entered the room, I was still under the effects of the Detect Magic spell. I scanned the room and there's something in the crate giving off a magical aura. My spell is supposed to tell me what school of magic the aura is, however, the crate's aura remains unidentified. It's magical and yet not from any school of magic. It's perplexing to say the least."
Ro pauses a moment and turns to the band, "Could any of you help open it? My attempt earlier failed, but I managed to loosen the lid a little."
"I can give it a try,"Oten says, hefting his javelin and attempting to use its tip in the gap created by Ro to pry it open. "Hmm, I can see why you failed, Ro. That is quite firmly secured. With this little leverage, we will need more force."Oten makes space for an extra pair of hands on his javelin and says, "Someone mind giving me a bit of assistance?"
