Rum watches the reaction of the doppelgängers to Lady Kaede's words, disappointed and yet unsurprised that they do not respond.
"They do not appear talkative, fellow Remnants", looking to Lady Kaede and Judal to see whether they are satisfied that conversation is not an option.
"I will try and draw fire in the event they attack", he says as he moves a little distance towards their mirrors and activates his Eldritch Claw Tattoo, remaining wary.
Movement: 30ft North-East - 65ft from Mirror Kaede Action: Ready - Unarmed Strike against a hostile that comes within 15ft Bonus Action: Activate Eldritch Maul - 1/10 Defense: Until he takes damage any attacks are at disadvantage against him
The Mirrors begin to talk, a few quick shouts in the voices of the Ardent Answer...but the words, whatever they are, seem to be...backwards? They're talking backwards. Their language is completely indecipherable as words, sentence construction, even queues and syntax are all backwards from spoken Common.
Mirror Kaede begins a slow trot forward, her eyes low in her kabuto helm, the frightening visage of the Samurai a reminder of the raw fury and power that Lady Kaede has been capable of in the past. She ignores Rum, moving straight toward the rest of the band with her weapons ready. She is a sight to behold, even for Rum. Her weapons remain up, ready...
Mirror Greko nods, looking at Mirror Rum, who looks ready to charge as Mirror Greko fires a Guiding Bolt at Rum, winging him with the attack. Behind Mirror Greko, Mirror Thea begins to move, until she is forward of his position and uttering their strange language and doling out blessings to some of her comrades. Mirror Judal, Mirror Kaede, and Mirror Rum all look more sure all of a sudden...

As the Lady Kaede doppelgänger approaches in that Kabuto helm with weapons drawn, there is something formidable and primal about her, frightening even. Rum can't help but hold his breath and keep a wary eye on her, finding himself distracted and nervous to even approach the samurai.
Perhaps that contributed to the guiding bolt that he just couldn't avoid from doppelgänger Greko.
It is then his own doppelgänger that he has to focus on. As the alternate Rum approaches at speed, he is ready for him, whipping out a paw as soon as he is within 15 feet that sends inky tendrils closing the distance. He infuses the strike with Ki energy, ensuring its accuracy despite the distraction of Lady Kaede and also attempting to stun faux Rum.
Reaction: Unarmed Strike (disadvantage due to frightened, focussed aim, eldritch maul): (14,7)+12+2=21, Damage: 6+8 = 14 [magical bludgeoning], 1 [force] - (Spends 1 Ki point - Stunning Strike - DC 20 Con save or be stunned)
Stepping through the Gate, Malenia is immediately met with the echoes of an unfolding battle. Taking a quick look, she finds herself hesitant. Unsure exactly what is happening as it appears that her comrades are battling....themselves? It is Lady Kaede's turn, followed by Malenia, Thea, and then Rum!
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Adrenaline surged through Lady Kaede's veins. The battlefield had erupted into chaos, mirror images twisting their features in a mockery of their true selves. But it was the chilling tendrils of darkness that demanded her immediate attention. A quick glance during the battle confirmed Violet's doppelganger as the source, a flicker of anger sparking in Lady Kaede's eyes.
However, vengeance could wait. The whispers, the biting cold, both screamed of danger. Staying in the sphere of darkness was akin to inviting further harm. With a grunt, Lady Kaede dug her heels into the slick slush and launched herself forward. Her muscles screamed in protest as she pushed through the unnatural cold, the world blurring at the edges due to the magical darkness. Every fiber of her being yearned for open air, for freedom from the suffocating embrace of the spell.
Her samurai training kicked in, each powerful stride fueled by a desperate need to escape the chilling sphere. Her destination: the border, the line where the unnatural darkness gave way to the harsh, yet welcome, reality of the twilight snowfield. If she could just cross that threshold, perhaps then, she could assess the situation and formulate a plan to combat these twisted reflections.
Movement: 30 forward (or what she assumes to be 'forward'...at least in the direction she was facing when the sphere of darkness enveloped her)
Thirty feet she pushed, or so it felt. Every step was a battle, a desperate lunge against the oppressive force of the spell. Time seemed to warp and twist, the boundaries between up and down blurring within the inky sphere. Then, with a sudden gasp, the pressure lifted. Lady Kaede stumbled forward, collapsing onto the snow-covered ground with a ragged cough.
The world snapped back into focus, the harsh twilight air biting at her exposed skin. Relief washed over her in a wave, chased quickly by a surge of renewed determination. Glancing around, she took stock of the battlefield. The figures still clashed, a tangled mess of steel and fury. Yet, thanks to her desperate escape, none of the mirror images were within immediate striking distance.
Lady Kaede's eyes narrowed, landing on the defiant form of Mirror Violet, the doppelganger who just took control over the battlefield with her devious magic, hovering arrogantly at the edge of the fray. A hand instinctively reached for the quiver strapped across her back, retrieving an arrow with practiced ease. The Blood Fury tattoo pulsed beneath her armor, a silent promise of righteous fury. Nocking the arrow, she drew back the bowstring, aiming for Mirror Violet's smug expression. The air crackled with unspoken defiance as she released the arrow, a streak of defiance against the twisted reflections before her.
Cold suffocating darkness envelopes Thea, weighing her down. Her skin peppers in goosebumps, causing her to shudder in place. And although she can’t see anything in this inky black void, she closes her eyes tight as if trying to shield herself from the consuming shadows. This is when the voices in her head got louder and louder, telling her she was not prepared, that she was not strong enough to fight beside these other brave fighters, that she would fail them before their journey has even begun…
Clutching her hand to her chest, a quiet whimper escapes Thea as she closes in on herself. Blinded by the darkness, deafened and silenced by fear, she robbed herself of her senses by the weight of her own internal turmoil. Then, from the deep recesses of her mind, light flickered, and with it, music.
Low and meek, Thea begins to sing.
”I try to face the fight within But it's over I'm ready for the riot to begin And surrender I walked the path that led me to the end Remember I'm caught beneath with nothing left to give, forever…”
Flutter flutter. The wings of her boots flutter as if desperate to take off to the skies.
“When angels fall with broken wings I can't give up, I can't give in When all is lost and daylight ends I'll carry you and we will live forever Forever”
Thea’s voice starts to build with gentle resolve.
”Grey skies will chase the light away No longer I fought the fight now only dark remains Forever Divided I will stand And I will let this end.”
Pushing her heels into the ground, the Alicorn kicks up into the air, pushing up/forward through the cold tendrils wanting to keep her there until she breaks free into the twilight.
”When angels fall with broken wings I can't give up, I can't give in When all is lost and daylight ends I'll carry you and we will live forever Forever”
She reaches her peak in the air and looks down upon the battle field, and as she sings, her horn begins to glow iridescent.
“The sun begins to rise And wash away the sky The turning of the tide Don't leave it all behind And I will never say goodbye.”
Reaching a hand up, she snaps. A fractal beam shoots down from her horn, crashing in the centre of her mirror, Violets, Greko’s and Malenia, erupting in a burst of radiant energy that threatened to exhaust them.
VS Mirror Thea, Violet, Greko and Malenia (if I can math correctly) (Casting Sickening Radiance: Con DC16 Radiant Damage: 33 + exhaustion)
Dim, greenish light spreads within a 30-foot-radius sphere centered on a point you choose within range. The light spreads around corners, and it lasts until the spell ends.
When a creature moves into the spell's area for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there, that creature must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or take 4d10 radiant damage, suffer one level of exhaustion, and emit a dim, greenish light in a 5-foot radius. This light makes it impossible for the creature to benefit from being invisible. The light and any levels of exhaustion caused by this spell go away when the spell ends.
The blast of radiant energy comes down like a hammer from the young Alicorn, first of her kind. Mirror Malenia resists, while Mirror Violet takes a direct hit but still somehow keeps up her concentration on Hunger of Hadar. Mirror Greko also gets hit hard and sways on his feet.
Mirror Thea, a perfect copy of her contemporary, is completely unfazed. Mirror Kaede ignores the burst of radiant energy like it's a minor inconvenience.
Tendrils of cold wash over Malenia as she springs into action, pivoting and rushing out of the darkness as her twin lightsabers flare into life. Seeing Mirror Judal approaching, she moves to block him from getting any closer.
Turn Summary
Mirror Violet and Mirror Greko take a direct hit from Sickening Radiance!Mirror Malenia, Mirror Kaede, and Mirror Thea seem unaffected. \
Maleniauses her movement to move west out of Hunger of Hadar, then the rest of her movement AND Step of the Wind (Bonus Action) to close with Mirror Judal, posting herself 10 feet in front of him.

The battlefield changes a lot as Rum watches the two sides fully commit to battle. Lady Kaede is still effecting him, there is a large field of blackness behind him emitting disturbing noises and an equally disturbing green mist ahead of him.
That leaves his doppleganger in front of him, still stunned and with Judal engaging him as well.
Being careful not to inch closer to Lady Kaede, he punches out with those inky tendrils, as he does so he marks faux Rum as a worthy foe.
The inky tendrils streak out across the distance, striking Faux Rum first in the stomach, causing him to double up, and then an upper cut sends him flying back into the sickening radiance in a crumbled heap sizzling within the green mist.
"There is only one Rumble of Hunger worthy to be the Chosen of the Great Dragon. And it was not you", he says contemptuously to the fallen feline body.
His adversary felled, Rum moves away from Lady Kaede and looks back on the scene of himself broken and defeated, hoping it does not foreshadow his own fate.
Marshalling his mental defences he then manages to shake off the effect Lady Kaede has on him.

Mirror Kaede ignores the drama unfolding on her flank, rushing past Rum and moving toward her primary objective. She moves next to Mirror Judal, and draws her yumi before taking aim at Thea. The arrow is launched with an inky tendril peeling off Mirror Kaede's skin as it flies, striking the Alicorn in the air.
Inside the glowing radiance thrown down by Thea, Mirror Greko sways and then collapses, done in by the power of the spell.
Mirror Thea moves up, resisting the Sickening Radiance, her eyes trained on her counterpart in the air after having dropped her concentration on Bless. She points toward Thea and snaps her fingers, ringing Thea in gush of flames, before raising another hand up in front of her and summoning a Guardian of Faith in front of herself. It looks like a male Alicorn, a shield in one hand, a flaming sword in the other, all shrouded in golden light.
Malenia's double moves like lightning while resisting the effects of the , dashing across the field of Sickening Radiance on the northern end and then moving to intercept Rum. Her lightsabers disappear, one retracting back into her arm, before she targets Rum with her bow. The arrow goes wide, splashing into the water beyond.

Violet winced from the cold of the all too familiar spell... but she manages to hold her concentration on her summon.

Eldritch Blast 3 - Attack: 28; Damage: 15

If Mirror Violet (somehow) survives that, she needs to make 4 Concentration saves. Also, real Violet uses her movement to get out of the area of Hunger of Hadar so she doesn't end her turn there if it's still in effect.

”I try to face the fight within
But it's over
I'm ready for the riot to begin
And surrender
I walked the path that led me to the end
Remember
I'm caught beneath with nothing left to give, forever…”
Flutter flutter. The wings of her boots flutter as if desperate to take off to the skies.
I can't give up, I can't give in
When all is lost and daylight ends
I'll carry you and we will live forever
Forever”
No longer
I fought the fight now only dark remains
Forever
Divided I will stand
And I will let this end.”
I can't give up, I can't give in
When all is lost and daylight ends
I'll carry you and we will live forever
Forever”
And wash away the sky
The turning of the tide
Don't leave it all behind
And I will never say goodbye.”
(Casting Sickening Radiance: Con DC16 Radiant Damage: 33 + exhaustion)
Dim, greenish light spreads within a 30-foot-radius sphere centered on a point you choose within range. The light spreads around corners, and it lasts until the spell ends.
When a creature moves into the spell's area for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there, that creature must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or take 4d10 radiant damage, suffer one level of exhaustion, and emit a dim, greenish light in a 5-foot radius. This light makes it impossible for the creature to benefit from being invisible. The light and any levels of exhaustion caused by this spell go away when the spell ends.
just an unstable unicorn.
Mirror Violet and Mirror Greko take a direct hit from Sickening Radiance! Mirror Malenia, Mirror Kaede, and Mirror Thea seem unaffected. \
Malenia uses her movement to move west out of Hunger of Hadar, then the rest of her movement AND Step of the Wind (Bonus Action) to close with Mirror Judal, posting herself 10 feet in front of him.

It is Rum's turn!
DM of AURYN: The Measure of Devotion - Escape from New York
Action: Attack faux Rum (Disadvantage for Fear and Cloak cancelled by Advantage for Stunned):
Unarmed Strike 1 (with favoured foe and eldritch maul): 17+12=29, Damage: 3+8+1 = 12 [magical bludgeoning], 3 [force]
Unarmed Strike 2 (with favoured foe and eldritch maul): 20+12=32 (crit!), Damage: 5+4+8+4+2 = 23 [magical bludgeoning], 5+3=8 [force] - Crusher feat pushes Faux Rum back 5ft into the Sickening Radiance
Movement: Moves away from Lady Kaede and the sickening radiance, 25ft East, 5ft South
Defense: Until he takes damage any attacks are at disadvantage against him
Special: Concentration on Favoured Foe (Faux Rum) - dropped as Faux Rum down
Wisdom Save: Against Frightened - 20+5=25

It is Violet's turn, followed by Greko!
DM of AURYN: The Measure of Devotion - Escape from New York
Violet winced from the cold of the all too familiar spell... but she manages to hold her concentration on her summon.
She quickly decides that getting rid of her double is the most important priority at the moment... four of her eyes light up, shooting beams of eldritch power at her double (quickened spell metamagic).
Eldritch Blast 1 - Attack: 17; Damage: 12
Eldritch Blast 2 - Attack: 27; Damage: 13
Eldritch Blast 3 - Attack: 28; Damage: 15
Eldritch Blast 4 - Attack: 18; Damage: 6
If Mirror Violet (somehow) survives that, she needs to make 4 Concentration saves. Also, real Violet uses her movement to get out of the area of Hunger of Hadar so she doesn't end her turn there if it's still in effect.
Summoned Abberation's actions in next post.
Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?

Greko is suddenly enveloped in darkness. Vision of a regularly sighted LIzardfolk would be affected by this darkness but Greko can't see already....so how much is he affected is the real question. Nonetheless Greko scoffs at magical darkness and casts Misty step teleporting 30 feet ahead where we last saw ....someone....maybe Rum. No he was mistaken it's Lady Kaede. He emerges from the darkness and scoffs "Tut Tut Greko can see again....Hello Rum....Oh Lady Kaede I thought you were Rum...Point Greko to danger Lady Kaede, Greko is ready!" As Kaede spins Greko around he sees Mirror Kaede "Oh that's an ugly one" He decides that Mirror Kaede will be on the receiving end of his disdain. He casts chromatic orb attempting to blast Mirror Kaede. (HIT 16, Dam9)
