An energy crackles around Travin and Gavin as the junk person is swept up in emotion, it feels unstable and makes the air tense.
As Travin is rocking his younger brother he begins coming back to normal consciousness, normal for Travin anyway... With sniffles, and tears he holds his brother out and touches their foreheads together, accidentally pushing his new found police hat off of his head and onto to the floor. "Travin promises to fix this, yeh? Everything that has happened to Gavin, it all started with me. Hmm. I put Gavin in the labyrinth, I couldn't get Gavin out, and now? Now this? No! Travin is done being the sources of your problems hmm? Travin... no... I needs to be better, yeh! to be your big brother again, yeh! to protects Gavin, like I should have been doing all along!" Something breaks even in Travin's usual pattern of speaking, like taking something back he forces himself to use the correct first person pronouns and stop himself from hiding behind third person blame.
The tears and redness of his face does not dissipate even as he picks his hat up, and just before he is able to put it back on his head, the energy circling him culminates and the police hat bursts into a raging flame surprising the junk person, he screams and flails, immediately panicking and then tosses it away from himself, inadvertently hitting Shavaris on the back with the flaming police cap.
"No bro, you don't need to fix anything. It's already fixed. You just need to finish whatever it is you guys gotta do, you know? Save your world? Well, their world. But save it, then come home, like Jareth said, and then we can find what our new normal is OHSHITOHSHITTHEHAT'SONFIRE!"
The flaming hat flies at Shavaris and impacts with a puff of flames. Sparks shoot out and she feels the heat on her back as the ends of her hair are singed. The smell of burned hair fills the van.
"FIRE!" Turquoise shouts before diving from the van into the area where they've pulled to camp.
"Oooh! Not the carpet!" Hawk says as he bolts from his seat and into the back of the van. He grabs the cooler, reaches in, produces a bottle of something, and starts to pour it all over the hat. "Dude get out of the van! I can't afford to fix all this shit you know!"
Hawk storms past the Dawn Guard and throws the back doors open before jumping out, fanning the smoke from his face.
"Hey lets build a campfire." Turquoise can be heard saying gently outside the confines of the vehicle mere seconds after freaking out over a flaming hat...
Ward looks up from his crafts as they scream about the cost of the van. "Oh, if you need funds I have gold? You helped us a great deal in getting us out of the brunt of the city it would only be proper." Ward says, taking a few gold pieces out of his bag.

The crackling energy surrounding Travin follows him as he is bundled out of the back of the vehicle and tumbles on to the floor outside, he throws his hands out onto the floor in front of him as he falls and the woodchips on the floor by the roadside also begin to erupt in flame, as the energy focuses upon it "whassahappnings!?" Travin can be heard screeching, half in surprise, half amusement, from under the junk and flaming countryside
Shavaris lets out a scream as the flaming hat hits her and singes her hair. Pocketing the orb and running out of the van with the rest, she finally turns around to try and figure out what happened. Seeing Travin land on the ground and flames erupting on the wood chips around him, she has a pretty good idea.
Before she gets back to him however, Ward extinguishes the flames and then she helps the Junkman back to his feet. "Travin, I know you're going through a lot right now. How can we work to get you back to normal? Without this strange energy around you that is causing flames to ignite? I know you miss Birt, but this is a bit ridiculous." Her last words are in jest, but worry is etched on her face as she looks at her friend.
Ward listens halfway to the conversations going on as he works, then at some points has an idea and mutters an incantation after taking some ingots and the red dragon armor from the bag of holding. Appearing next to him an Azer, a fire elemental with a bronze skin and flaming head. Ward converses with him for a moment before giving him some ingots and the Azer begins to work on turning it into darts.

Travin's junk shudders and clangs as the rush of wind hits him. He then quickly hops to his feet sticking his hands up in the air, reaching for the sky, "Travin didn't do this, hmmm, not this time anyways ah!" After a quick minute and the flames distraction, Travin manages to calm down, he checks on Gavin and the crackling of chaos energy surrounding him dissipates.
With the flames out and no issues around her at the moment, Shavaris walks a bit, holding the orb in her hand. If Adam continues to join her, she doesn't push him away, but looks at him to see if he sees what she is seeing.
Finally, she can't take it anymore and heads back towards Gavin. Holding up the orb in her hand, she demands, "Is this real? I mean, does what this orb show you really happening? Or does it show the future of what might come to pass? Please tell me... please tell me it doesn't show what is happening now."
She lowers the orb and cradles it in her hands, hanging her head as she looks at it, waiting to hear Gavin's answer.
Gavin looks at Shavaris, the tears of his outburst still drying on his face. His expression becomes abject horror when he sees what she has.
"No, give it back!" He says, thrusting his hand forward and stepping toward her. "I know it's fun to look through...wait? What? It can show a lot of things. But unless you know how to use it, it just shows what is happening elsewhere. Not what 'will' or 'did' happen. Now I want it. Sarah gave it to me and it's mine. Give it here."
Shavaris hears Travin but doesn't address him right away as she is waiting for Gavin.
As Gavin thrusts his hand forward, she instinctively holds it away from him. "So it is what is happening. Damn." She looks to Travin, "It showed the Nothing taking an immense portion of the Southern sea... I hadn't seen it actually happen before. It is awful. Makes me feel sick to my stomach." She looks toward Dageron, "Have you seen this Nothing before? I just heard murmurs about it when we were all in Celetia."
"Sorry Gavin, I need it to find Sarah, and as Adam said, to most likely give it back to Jareth."
Ward puts down his tools for a moment and looks towards Shavaris, "Shav, I wouldn't recommend continuously looking into it. Mainly, it likely won't give us a precise location. Secondly, it will hurt. I cannot see which has happened, but I know it is gruesome and tragic. It will only show you more, Gavin at least has some experience with it, which I hope has carried between our realms. At least for now, I think you should give it back to him." Ward says

“Yeah but Jareth needs that one to do his old ball juggling thing. Twirl them in his hands and shit. I get the sense that one loose and free roaming, could cause some trouble. Who knows, maybe it is having the effects on Eternia that we’ve been seeing. The ball juggler, he’s got to have his balls to juggle. Or there is trouble. That’s what I think. Ward, have you ever seen those weird squid face people anymore? Wouldn’t put some weirdo kind of stuff on them either. Hmmm… anyway, we’re getting off topic. Where is this fella that we need to hunt down?” Adam scratches his head, gazing into the ball if it is nearby..

You should be careful Shavaris. Jareth magic has a way to mess your minds. Remember what happened to Adam near the end? That said, if Gavin has a way to use it then maybe let him try.
Travin cautiously eyes his brother and puts a hand on Gavin's outstretched arm, "you'll get it back don't worry, hmm? Shavaris is no thief yeh yeh? Right now we needs to rest and plans hmm? Figures out how to find informations on this Ivo shandor yeh! Come, we makes camp, talks with hawk and turquoise hmm?" Travin begins shifting dirt around the wood, moulding 5ft cubes of earth to make a large sunken pit, big enough for everyone to sit in, with walls made of the moved earth blocking out wind. He then gathers some sticks and stones, beginning to create a small fire in the center.
Dageron replies to Shavaris, "Only what everyone else has learned these past weeks. The Gmork, which we killed, was its herald. It is something like despair incarnate, an emptiness of the soul. Wherever it goes, nothingness remains. Its coming is tied to the Conjunction, though we do not know which caused the other or if and how they are linked. We do not yet know its weakness - it may very well not have one."
"You guys don't get to just show up and take my things because you think you need them more than me!" Gavin protests as Shavaris refuses to give the orb back. "You turn my life into a hell, and now decide that even the little pieces of the hell that are mine aren't mine? You know what? Fine. **** it. You figure out the orb."
Gavin throws his hands up, gives himself a moment, then pushes the moisture from his eyes before he storms off into the woods to do whatever he's doing.
Before Travin chases after Gavin, Dageron motions for a moment, then follows after. If allowed, Dageron will calmly approach him out of earshot of the others. "We have not met, and under these circumstances, you may truly be our only allies in this strange land. Firstly, I am General Dageron of the Aureki. If the Lord of the Labyrinth intended you to have the magic orb, then I will speak with the others to ensure it is returned to you. Please excuse my comrades, they appear taken aback by the realities of this situation, and may still need time to process everything. We are here to help, and will do all we can to safeguard this world. You showed great leadership and foresight in seeking us out. Even this place of regrouping seemed pre-planned with some intelligent purpose. I will not lie to you, this realm is in peril. Even if we succeed at this task and return to our world, there is no promise that other forces will not find their way back here. I understand your caution against upsetting the order of things here, but urge you to consider that such notions are secondary to survival - always. You are a survivor.. and an apparent leader.. I would counsel you consider creating the very kind of clandestine organization you fear. If so, we could provide help in the way of material goods brought with us, before we leave. I will petition you no further on this issue. You will do what you feel is best." He waits a moment, then proceeds.
"If you would allow me a few questions? In our world there are information brokers and powerful magics capable of aiding in finding individuals. What resources can be found in this one to find our quarry? You had mentioned disguises for our group and I have only seen unarmored Humans so far - where are the other races? Also, virtually no sign of weaponry, save for those carried by the law givers we encountered. Why is that? It seems we are truly out of step with this world, can you tell me why it is so different from our own?"
