Venkman simply blinks as Travin-Ward says something about how lethal Shavaris can be, then raises one hand as if to say "see what I'm dealing with here?" and looks at the rest of his team without much change of his facial expression. The rest of the Ghostbusters are looking at each other as they have some sort of wordless debate if they should start blasting these strange newcomers or not.

"Vigo?" Stantz interrupts, catching what is happening. "Hold on, what's this business about Vigo? Do you know where he is? What's Strahd's connection to Vigo?"
"Yeah, sorry, we're rude too." Venkman says to Delphinium, rolling his eyes as Stantz and Spengler immediately dive into work details, Janine still looks terrified, and Zeddemore stops to light a smoke. "Us? We're the Ghostbusters baby. Ain't you seen the commercials?"
Warvin holds up his three arms as Stantz interrupts, pointing to each one as Strahd, Dawn Guard, and Ghostbusters as he speaks. "So, Strahd, wants you and Vigo dead. We want Vigo dead. TWard sits, just on the floor or if there's a char he slumps over that, "so anyway we're pretty f*cked unless we kill you, so do you wanna work together and rid this world of bad vampires or should we just get on with the killing and go about our business?"
Delphinium smiles as they seem to have reached an accord of talking at the very least. The one called Venkmen also apologized and that was enough for the fairy. When asked about if they had heard of them Delph says "Nope, never heard of you or comeerrshalls? What language is that? Anyway, ghostbusters is a weird name for an exorcist. Are you like a cabal of wizards that specialize in that?"
Delphinium seeing the tension draining a bit goes over to Spengler and says "Oh, I know. He was very careful with his words but he wasn't raised in an environment where one must choose their words everyday since birth. I know he is a powerful being but he has limitations too. A witness to new deals being made. He knows I'm invested but he also knows I can't lie making me the perfect individual to broker a completion of the deal that was accepted."
The fairy sighs and lands on Spengler's Shoulder, "Honestly, if Strahd wasn't manipulating Shavaris in the worst way I would admire him. I love a good double cross deal. Makes for a good story to tell later. I hope we can be good friends after this unpleasantness. Vampires are really impressive hunters after all. I like Shavaris though and I'm not about to let her fall for a deal that won't give her what she wants. So, I'm here to advise on how to fulfill the contract and insure that Shavaris is really given Ralik back and not the lie she chose to believe. This has the added benefit of allowing you all to live too! Isn't that great?"
As T-Ward mentions that they have to kill them Delphinium says "He did not say kill. He used the precise words,"Eliminate the threats at this address." However, don't get too excited. He was careful with his words because it's binding magic but he chose his words carefully. It means he had intent behind them and can likely enforce the contract in multiple ways of interpretation. A fairy notices things though. I noticed very clearly how he danced around certain words. What he wouldn't share and what his reactions were to various things. These tell you far more what they want then the deal itself."
Delphinium gets a giant grin on his face as he clearly has a plan for everyone, "For as much flexibility he has on determining the fulfillment of the contract he also has the same flexibility on the reward. This works for us in a few ways but only if you five work with us. You want to live right? Let's make a deal."
Johnathan spends a few moments with his eyes closed as he listens in on the conversation ahead. Johnathan looks up and says to the others near him. It looks like they have a device detecting Shavaris. They are vampire hunters by the look of it but I don’t know if they are a serious threat yet. It seems like the others are talking for peaceful solutions. Be ready to move if this gets bad. Johnathan goes back looking through his familiar as the rest of the party continue the exchange.
"eliminate threats... Hmmm. Hey you guys got rats or anything, like something threatening you specifically at this address? Or could you bring something threatening here? OOOOH we could lure Vigo here, right?" T-Ward chuckles trying to key into the specific word choice that Delph presents, like a riddle and reeling with possibilities.
Shavaris listens from the shadows. She hurt Delphinium, her friend. This last thought is starting to overpower the current situation she finds herself in that was making self-preservation take precedence. This state in itself is showing her how much this group, this family has changed her. Even with Eloise… she shakes her head, not wanting thoughts to go that way.
As the conversation continues with the four men, Delph and the two that switched bodies, she covers her head with her cloak and slowly heads up the stairs. She needs to face this head on. She hears Johnathan mention that the men have a device that locates vampires… yep, she noticed that as well. With her hands readily on the pommels of her weapons under her cloak, she draws near the group. “Delphinium, are you alright? I’m so sorry I hurt you.”
Waiting to see if the four attack a known vampire onsite, if they do not, she tries to focus on what Delph is saying.
A couple things he says perks her ears up and makes her wonder if she heard things differently than the fairy did and what that means. She was the one in dire straights under this contract, not Delph, but he wouldn’t leave her to her death… would he?
No.
Trying to move her mind from taking care of the situation to a conversation with the ones she is contracted to kill… man this was difficult… but if her team was willing, she had to trust her team. She thinks about Adam and how he has her back and she smiles.
Finding her voice, “Delph? What do you mean the real Ralik back and not the lie I chose to believe?"
"I believe you are mistaken." Spengler said in answer to Warvin. "Vigo can't be killed because he isn't alive. He's a Class 7 Paranormal Freak, or metaspectre. He ceased to live centuries ago when he ascended to his supernatural form. We do, however, seek to put an end to the threat he represents, yes. We..."
"Wait." Venkman says, stepping forward, waving both hands in front of him. "Wait wait wait. Egon, I know layman isn't your native tongue but did you just listen to the part where these guys said that Strahd sent them over here to kill us? Am I the only one that heard that?"
He looks around, from Zeddemore to Stantz to Spengler, then points at Janine.
"They already tried to kill our secretary and all she does is answer the phone!"
When Janine gives him a deathly stare, he changes his tone.
"Oh well, you're wonderful in many other ways Janine..." Venkman says, trying to recover. "The point is, they're trying to kill her and she doesn't even pose the threat that we do! How much mercy do you think they're going to have here?"
"I heard that part." Spengler, Egon, says. "But it seems we have at least a little common ground here, Venkman. If the Dawn Guard wants Vigo eliminated, that's good for us. We can figure out the Strahd dilemma later."
"Strahd wants us dead because he knows we're on to him." Zeddemore adds, tossing the cigarette butt to the side. "I don't think meeting with him is going to fix this. He'll probably just try to kill us if we meet."
"Dungeons and Dragons?" Stantz says. "I think I have a few copies of that left over from my occult book store. Weird kids love it."
"Satanism. What nonsense." Spengler quips. "Everyone knows by now that Gozer the Gozerian is the real evil..."
"Not the point, Egon." Venkman says. "And third party? Apparently you don't know how deals like this work in New York. Where'd you say you were from, again? Hyberis?"
"Hyboria, like the Robert E. Howard fantasy tales." Spengler points out.
"Not the point, Egon." Venkman says again. "What I'm getting to is...look, yeah, you may not have agreed to whatever Strahd said...but that doesn't matter because it sounds like whoever it effects most directly has agreed. Whatever that looks like. You can argue whatever you like but your friends sound like they're in some bad shit if Strahd doesn't get what he wants, and your thoughts on it don't matter. And for the record, when guys like Strahd say something like 'eliminate threats' they're not looking for ridiculous interpretations. Clearly everyone knows what he meant. You can't spin it. Little buddy, it's like this; Strahd is a businessman. In New York, that means knowing how to say a ironclad bullshit so you don't get sued or lose money or whatever."
"We need to figure this out." Stantz says. He points at the pack of smokes poking out of Zeddemore's pocket and motions for it, talking fast."What we're dealing with here is some temporal or interuniversal phenomenon directly tying two worlds together and since we know that Strahd doesn't make vampires that means your friend is Vigo's handy work..."
"Ray. Breathe."
"...so where was he or she afflicted with vampirism? Was it here? Or was it in Hyboria? Because if it's Hyboria then that makes this a whole new level of problem."
They all take a step back when Shavaris appears at the top of the stairs.
Warvin sighs, and opens a bag containing the explosives T-Ward gave him. "Once again, if we wanted you dead. You would be, between the two of us we have enough explosives to level this and probably a few other buildings. Regardless of his form, he will be dealt with, speaking of do you have a trusted priest by chance? When we deal with Vigo I need some holy water my supply is low for what I intend to do. Quite frankly, we don't know or care about your problem with Strahd." Warvins takes a pause to breathe in and out, and mumbles to T-Ward, "Still, getting the hang of it." Before continuing.
"But I think we can agree, that a problem bigger than it, is the one consistently creating vampires, and trying to open more portals between our realms. And if you want to not die, then we need to all chill out. Is Strahd doing really something so horrendous? I assume you all deal with creatures beyond the pale of what is normal to the masses of your world, Strahd seems to just want to relish in his immortality and riches, he even seems to pay for blood is that correct? As Dageron said, our world, is not in a particularly grand situation at the moment, and we need Vigo to stay out of the equation. Also, no meeting with Strahd, he was really, really adamant about that. We have one of his people following a while behind us that we're talking through." Ward stops as Shavaris comes up and moves to be in a position to block any projectiles either way. "No shooting, or stabbing, or anything between you guys." Ward says, then leaning over towards Delph and quieting his voice.""Delph, we probably should wait on that... I have concerns too, but there is far too much going on to address that at the moment. Plus considering the fact that Ralik probably stabbed a couple dozen of Strahd's people if it is a trick it's not Strahd's." Ward finishes

Adam walks forward and heads up the steps when he hears and sees Shavaris doing so. “Words. Words words words words words. What the hell. Delph, do you understand, Shavaris and Ralik will die if we don’t do this, a deal has been made. They have six days.” He looks at the ghostbusters, hand still on his lightsaber. “Whaddya say to that? Did you know that Strahd wanted you guys killed? How much interaction have you had with him?” Taking the bangles off, no longer appearing as the Marlboro Man, Adam appears as … well, Adam. He fingers the Auryn, pulling it out of his shirt and beyond his hairless chest. “What the hell, let me try it…. “.
Adam stands there a minute, holding the Auryn and his mouth starts to move, wordlessly. He stretches his senses out, seeing if anyone can hear him through the Auryn…
“Hey, Gandalf? Anyone else? Are you reading me here? Is anybody…. out there? So like Shavaris, and Ralik (who’s back now by the way, what the hell, right?) made this deal with this guy Strahd, who seemed like a jerkwad and I think he probably is a jerkwad? She drank this friggin blood oath stuff and we have six days before she and Ralik dies unless we handle this situation, do you have any suggestions? Any ways around this bullshit? These ghostbuster guys kinda seem alright but if they need to die, so be it man. We are keeping the Dawn Guard intact this time, no further deaths yo! Any ideas? Anyone know about this jerkwad Strahd?”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Delphinium Listens to all then sighs and shakes their head in exasperation and puts their arms out to the sides in a gesture of surrender. "Mortals. Geez. Alright, lets start from the top here."
The first person the fairy looks to is Zeddmore, "He very much wants you dead. Seemed near terrified at the idea of you showing up. He says he doesn't want to be exposed. Whether that is true or not is irrelevant. The fact is, he sees you as a threat. No self respecting predator would allow a threat to live near their home. Feel free to enter the wolves' den but you'll probably die. Might take him with you but he has a lot of muscle. Secondly, I'd help him as I would not want Shavaris to die and the deal stipulated his death could end in hers."
Venkmen is the next person that Delphinium addresses. The fairy flies right up to him and says "A third party is important as it means I can bind you all to a second contract! As it stands we likely will gain nothing while Strahd may get everything he wants. It's very fey. Almost beautiful really. You are all very lucky I am here. I'm quite aware he wants you dead but he chose his words poorly and carefully at the same time. I'm certain he never imagined another contract being signed that could balance out the first. So, I plan to create a binding contract that outlines a deal of truce between you and him while tying that contract to Shavaris getting what she wants. I did warn him, I am a much bigger threat to him then you five. He didn't reply... weird it's almost like he took it like a thoughtless threat." Delphinium grins.
Delphinium Turns to Adam as he expresses concern on Shavaris' life. "Yes Adam. I am aware. Painfully aware of the deal Shavaris has accepted. Do you think Shavaris wants to kill these people? They are already not automatically attacking as we were told meaning that Strahd can lie. Why didn't he tell you all more on who they were? Because he knew the dawn guard would not want to attack them. He wanted us to act first and regret our choices later. What kind of friend would I be if I let her do that when I have an alternative?"
Lastly The fairy turns and begins Facing Shavaris as they slowly fly over to her. A look of worry on his face. "Shavaris, it was a clever deal. One designed to evoke emotion. Many would of fallen for it. I'm going to ask you a question. One that you won't like because of what it can imply. It is likely the lynch pin of his deal and why he was so insistent on not sharing anything. I hope I am wrong but I don't get the sense that Strahd is the kind to do nice things because he can. Shavaris... Strahd was very insistent about calling Ralik Property. Right to the point he corrected us on that. That caught my attention. I began to reflect on his words at that point. Let me ask you something, When did Strahd call Ralik Ralik, was it before or after you accepted the deal?"
Delphinium's thoughts on the deal:
Delphinium noticed that Strahd would only refer to Ralik as property. Not once mentioning who he was until after the deal was accepted. The fairy thinks that at best, he is a corpse walking for the duration of a spell. Delphinium believing that the only thing to be returned will be the body. Property of Shavaris. At worst. Ralik's body is possessed and they are merely pretend to be them. Perhaps can even access their memories. Magic can do a lot of things after all. They could be looking for an opportunity to kill them all after the other threats are removed for Strahd. After all, why would Strahd allow them to live when they have similar powers to threaten him?
Delphinium is looking for Ralik. They want to keep them in eye sight. Unsure how they will react. The fairy is still not sure why Ralik was revived. He definately doesn't think he let Ralik live if he killed some of his underlings... unless he was reviving him for some reason. Was Ralik revived by Strahd? The fairy wasn't sure how many other powerful beings there were in this world that could revive someone. If Strahd did revive them. Why? If they didn't... who did and why? To the fairy, right now, Ralik is not to be trusted.
Dageron, seeing the Humans smoking the weak smelling tobacco, pulls out a smoking pipe carved from a Wyvern's fang and a wax sealed tin. Filling and lighting the pipe, he offers it to them. "I rarely partake, but found that many of the Humans, Gnomes, Halflings and Dwarves I've worked with do. This is known as Gnomish Goldthistle. It is smooth but not weak like so many of the soft races prefer. If we are pausing hostilities in the hope of peaceful resolution, I am glad to share."
His tone is formal, and the gesture clearly meant to show diplomatic intent. The content is very strong tobacco mixed with whatever the Hyborian equivalent to coca leaves might be. The effect would be very energizing....
The object of his freedom was in sight. Fists clinch on the hilts of his daggers so hard they hurt. The Savage wanted to end this, right here, right now. Jaw set firm and death gleamed in his eyes, eyes that saw his freedom in one foul act of brutality.
The Nomad saw an innocent man, worried for an injured friend. An evil monarch pointing the Nomad like an arrow. One is no man's arrow. One is the warrior blessed by Eilistraee.
Ralik dismisses his disguise and weapons, then steps from the shadows.
"Apologies for the late arrival. I am Ralik." He says with a head tilt.
The nomad finds an unoccupied elevated flat surface and lounges on it comfortably.
"Peace. I value my life and the lives of my friends, but I refuse to bring undeserved death." he says flippantly.
He looks to Shavaris. He felt pain for her. He would rather die than bring death to an innocent, but in doing so, was he bringing death to her? He had to trust in his friends to find an answer. He was powerless against his morals and this contract, but he still held hope. He held hope like he had the whole time he was separated from them.
The nomad's gaze cycles through the men he was sent to kill. He idly flips and catches a coin while the others spearhead a solution.

Shavaris winces at Delph's question. "To be honest, I don't know. But I do know that that is Ralik! I'm sure of it, and if any of you were in that position, I would have done the same thing! And now? Well..." she looks at the ghostbusters, unsure of what to think since they didn't attack her like Strahd said they would.
She hears Ralik and wonders if he is willing to let himself and her die.
Adam stands behind Delph, nodding. He listens, but doesn’t necessarily understand all of the fey ways and points of view. “Yeap. That’s what I said. Don’t drink that shi…but then she had already done it. Strongman Travin made sure that I couldn’t stop her, either. Freakishly strong muscles in that bent up body. But here we are. And I’m in charge of this rag tag Dawn Guard crew. In my mind. We are not losing anyone here with this shit. So…. Fey us out of this cul de sac of bullshit. We are in a real catch two four here. For our two, we gotta kill these four guys… that’s a real head scratcher.” Adam stands behind Shavaris, his hand has not wavered from his lightsaber hilt. Adam looks down at his Auryn, trying to discern if it worked.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
T-Ward chuckles "well I don't have access to that bent up body or those freakish muscles any longer, but I was merely allowing Shavaris to hold the strengths of her own convictions, it was stated that she was the most compatible and without putting everyone else's life in danger it was the right call at the time. Don't get me wrong, fighting Strahd was an option, but weighing up those options I figured four humans were an easier fight to achieve our goal and get Ralik back. I also saved you from a world of contempt, so you're welcome I guess?" Turning to address the Ghostbusters once more T-Ward disables the illusion showing his robot form underneath and continues, "anyway the biggest threat right now is Vigo, he's dragging magic through from our realm and likely people beasts and creatures with it, you think Dageron over here is ugly? You wait until your city is under seige from thousands of orcs, goblins and literal dragons..."
"If I may interject." Spengler says. He reaches out, accepts Dageron's pipe with a polite nod, and takes a deep inhale, then exhales smoke through his nose. His eyes don't even water as he offers this 'peace pipe' to Venkman for the General. "I believe you're attacking the problem too linear. Strahd sent you here and you're still hung up on what to do with us while simultaneously addressing that we have a common enemy in Vigo. It seems straight forward to me. We find Vigo and destroy him, and then we deal with Strahd. Am I forgetting anything? Were there stipulations from Strahd during the signing of the contract that would prevent this?"
Venkman's eyes shift to Egon as he offers up the pipe. He looks dubious of the scientist's approach to the issue, but still takes the pipe and takes a deep inhale before sinking into a coughing fit...
"Nice to meet you, Ralik." Stantz says, offering a hand to the newcomer for a shake. "Man, there's of a lot of you guys. How many did Strahd send here?"
"I.."cough cough "...don't sign anything without my lawyer." Venkman says to Delphinium as tears stream from his eyes.
"well then it's agreed, let's go f*ck some sh*t up!" T-Ward says excitedly, "we have intel Vigo's whereabouts, or at least if he's not there some of his accomplices should be, they call themselves the Coney boys out on lost island. Right?" T-Ward looks around the group for confirmation, he was newly transported into this tin can when the group gained that particular information. "Also do you guys know how to reverse partly transformed vampires, we got some teens outside who have been mingling where they shouldn't have."
“Strahd cannot be killed. He has the magical version of a bomb vest that is attached to Ralik and now Shav. Someone just grab Strahds watcher. We obviously can’t take you to Strahd as he is terrified of you. Why can the lot of you just agree to a non-agression pact with Strahd? If you both can assure the other, likely with some form of magic as he has for us, that you will not strike first what is the harm. He seems to not be causing any relatively large issues here.” Warvin says, looking to the Ghostbusters for an answer
Venkman simply blinks as Travin-Ward says something about how lethal Shavaris can be, then raises one hand as if to say "see what I'm dealing with here?" and looks at the rest of his team without much change of his facial expression.
He points at the pack of smokes poking out of Zeddemore's pocket and motions for it, talking fast. "What we're dealing with here is some temporal or interuniversal phenomenon directly tying two worlds together and since we know that Strahd doesn't make vampires that means your friend is Vigo's handy work..."
"Ray. Breathe."
"...so where was he or she afflicted with vampirism? Was it here? Or was it in Hyboria? Because if it's Hyboria then that makes this a whole new level of problem."
They all take a step back when Shavaris appears at the top of the stairs.
"Shades of Depeche Mode."

"No shooting, or stabbing, or anything between you guys." Ward says, then leaning over towards Delph and quieting his voice." "Delph, we probably should wait on that...

Everyone eyes the explosives nervously.
"I.." cough cough "...don't sign anything without my lawyer." Venkman says to Delphinium as tears stream from his eyes.

Dageron thumbs over his shoulder, "Won't Strahd's man know we didn't kill them? What's our plan for him?"
