"Vigo isn't in Coney Island." Spengler says with conviction. "But there is a gang of vampires there called the Lost Boys that are his creation. Very dangerous."
"Very." Zeddemore says with a nod, backing up Spengler.
"Oh, you're being followed? I feel like you said that." Stantz said. He sat down on the end of one of the beds and began tying his boots. "Where's he at? We can probably take care of that guy but uh...yeah. Strahd will probably miss him. Oh, wait? What? Bomb vest?"
“Lost boys?” Adam says, “Where are they trying to go? Do they need a map? Oh wait… I get it. They’re “Lost”… right.” Adam turns to Shavaris, asks her “Do you feel lost? We are here for ya.” He looks back at the ghostbusters, saying “Not one of you better touch her, no harm to her because of… because of… because of what she is. Or I will turn you inside out. Tie your body into knots. Right?”. He stops and speaks to himself in a lower voice, “Dawn Guard staying together on this one. Not gonna lose anyone on this mission…”. He puts his Auryn medallion away, failing in his attempt to communicate.

Dageron raises an eyebrow, then addresses the Ghostbusters, "Something bothers me about all this. Why are you against vampires at all? And, why Strahd specifically? You've made no comment on my companions suggestions for a mutual non-aggression pact. Why is that? Are you a holy order aligned against undead?"
Warvin nods to Stantz "In all practicality yes, should 6 days pass without coming to an agreement with Strahd or Strahd die then two of our squad will die. And I agree with Dageron here, why must Strahd die, and no killing the one following us. He's funny." Warvin says

Delphinium gives Shavaris a sad look and says "Yes, many would of. That's why I understand why you accepted it. It's a very crude and highly manipulative deal." Delph flutters slowly towards her as he reaches out to touch her cheek as they say "It'll be alright Shavaris. I won't let you get hurt like that without me trying to help. We have 6 days. If we can't find a way to resolve it then we of course complete the task to save you with a very slim hope you get what you want too."
As Adam backs Delph up with how the deal shouldn't of been accepted in the first place the tiny fairy nods solumnly and apologetically, "Adam is right, I was so distracted with the wonder and uniqueness of this world I didn't speak up in time. Sorry. As to killing them, meh, we can do that later if we have too. We won't let Shavaris die. I want to make sure she doesn't die and she gets what she wants."
To the ghostbusters Delph replies "No, there is nothing preventing you from working together. That is the idea actually so that'll help. It sounds like both parties can agree to an alliance to defeat Vigo. Excellent. I shall act as a witness and act as mediator to negotiations."
The fairy flies to be between both parties for this. They summon up what they know of feylaw and binding contract. Delphinium has never acted as a mediator for a deal but he has made many. It was part of life in the feywild. Normally, he would have the power of the feywild to backup the power of a binding contract. When not there... one has to seek other powerful sources of magic to bind a contract. Luckily, Delphinium has just such an item. What looks like a spear sitting upon his back. He doesn't want to use it much but a contract is special case. It will act as a force of law and good and with intent from Delphinium to bind agents of the night with the power of a being that is the embodiment of the sun it should be happy to enforce this. Also, magical contracts use almost no power as it involves willing participants add to that that sunlight is the vampire's bane and unicorns bring the sunlight. Delphinium pulls out the Alicorn as he invokes a contact for both parties. Confident it is sufficient to alter and create contracts.
"As mediator I do not know what a lawyer is but I do encourage a signed in blood contract to further bind. For now, do both parties agree to a temporary verbal contract? If there are no objections I shall begin in my role as moderator. I Delphinium Havenheart Foxmist, son of Titania's thirteenth daughter the Lady of the Herd, Blossom and son of Herne, Lord of the hunt will bare witness to this contract and bind those involved. As a beginning to negotiation I as mediator will oversee this verbal contract.
Do the 5 of you who identify as the group the Ghostbusters agree to a truce between yourself the assassination group contracted and representing the interests of Strahd van Zarovich, head of Barovia International, known as the Dawnguard to defeat a mutual enemy? This enemy has been identified by the ghostbusters and Strahd van Zarocivh, head of Barocia International as Vigo Do you agree to aid and assist the Dawnguard in the defeat of Vigo? Do you agree to do no harm to the Dawnguard of your own freewill? Do you agree to keep the Dawnguard informed of your location and where you will be going for the duration of this contract? Do you agree to further negotiation of an alliance after the defeat of Vigo? This agreement will last for the duration of up to 5 days and 5 nights allowing for the 6th day for creating terms of a more lasting alliance to be formed and signed or agreed on by both parties with the intent that it will aid Shavaris and spare your lives. Ghostbusters, If you agree to this verbal contract speak your full name. If you do not agree, state your objection so that the mediator can attempt to find a solution that both parties can agree to." The fairy looks keenly at the ghostbusters as they begin to weave together a binding contract of words that they hope to put in writing signed in blood later.
Delphinium then turns to the Dawnguard and says "Do the Dawnguard, who are acting agents of Strahd van Zarovich, head of Barocia International agree to a truce with the Ghostbusters to defeat a mutual enemy. This enemy has been identified by your employer and by the Ghostbusters as Vigo. Do you agree to aid and assist the Ghostbusters in the defeat of Vigo. Do you agree to do no harm to the Ghostbusters of your own freewill? Do you agree to further negotiation of an alliance after the defeat of Vigo? This agreement will last for the duration of up to 5 days and 5 nights allowing for the 6th day for creating terms of a more lasting alliance to be formed and signed or agreed on by both parties. Dawnguard, if you agree to this verbal contract speak your name. If you do not agree, state your objection so that the mediator can attempt to find a solution that both parties can agree to."
Warvin nods, "I would appreciate an addendum to ensure a good-faith negotiation with Strahd, so as to reduce any miscommunications with Strahd and the Dawn Guard. I also have a question, for me and Travin would there be any effects of our current, situation, regarding our mismatched bodies?" Warvin asks Delph

T-ward goes on over to Warvin and opens the cabinet upon his back, he gently takes out a flower from the cabinet, a flower which is still in a state of perpetual fey bloom, after Delph gifted it to him. He holds the flower aloft and uses it like a focus for the binding, "I Travin Trevor Tiller of unsound mind and incorrect body, agree to the terms."
Johnathan rubs his temples where a migraine is forming as Delph goes on and on and on about a verbal contract. Let’s just do something. I don’t particularly want to hurt civilians but we can’t stand around all day, we have other things to do.
The fairy looks to Warvin and says "I will work in good faith for both parties. Make no mistake, you are representing the interests of Strahd and as a mediator I am taking that into account. I also would like to stay in good graces with Strahd as he is an impressive and clever hunter. As for your situation, I am only mediating between Strahd's agents and the Ghostbusters. I will do what I can to help both parties achieve a mutually agreed on contract."
As travin states their name delphinium nods and says "One member of the dawn guard , Travin Trevor Tiller has agreed to the terms of the truce."
To Johnathan the fairy says "Hench, a temporary truce that doesn't have many expectations. Agreeing to the terms means we can focus on vigo and have time to come to an alternative solution that will be more beneficial to both parties."
Shavaris nods as Adam asks if she feels lost and gives Delph a sad smile back as he addresses her before going into the contract information. The whole situation was becoming too much for her.
She tries her best to listen to all the words... so many words that she really gets lost in as Delph lays out the contract. It scares her, the situation that is happening. She's getting more and more afraid for her life. And another blood pact? She cringes, that's what got her into trouble in the first place.
Her eyes go wide and she stands in shock as Travin agrees to the contract.
"Hey man, no one has tried to hurt her. You guys busted in here and wanted to kill us, remember?" Zeddemore says to Adam.
"We're more interested in Vigo." Stantz said. "Strahd is only on our radar because he's a vampire. He's someone we're aware of. A supernatural entity operating inside the great municipality of New York is a concern to us, but we're simply monitoring at the moment. Sounds to me like he's just ready to make the first strike."
There's some crosstalk amongst the Ghostbusters, but Venkman raises his hands and makes deescalating motions while saying 'whoa whoa whoa'.
"Hold on a minute hold on!" Venkman says, trying to make sense of what's happening. "First of all, no. No no no no no. We aren't signing anything without our lawyer. Especially a blood pact! I don't even think there's lawyers who are barred for something like that."
"I somehow doubt Strahd von Zarovich cares what we agree to here without him." Spengler points out.
"Why the hell are these freaks still here!" Janine protests, still animated and upset. "What are we even discussing here! Who's going to kill who? Peace treaties! My god, Egon, get these people the hell out of here so I can have peace and drink my coffee!"
Giving a glare to Janine, Shavaris then looks at the man with the nametag Stantz on it. A bit unsure of herself in the current situation, she asks him, "Do you know where this Vigo is? We are ready to eliminate him as a threat. Actively making vampires... he's an evil one and needs to be dealt with."
"with or without a contract, our goals concerning Vigo align, right? We would appreciate assistance if we are to rid your world of Vigo, your obvious experience and also knowledge of the area would give us an advantage." T-ward states trying to get things moving.
To Zeddmore Delphinium says "Yet, you live due to the opportunity of another possible option. At this point the agents of Strahd have held their hands from attacking. If you want to fight I believe that was the original plan. At this point it would be your choice to say you prefer to be his enemy and refuse a temporary truce."
To Stanz "That is the proposition here. To work together to defeat Vigo. There is also a further clause to discuss the terms of possible other alternatives to assassination after we work together."
To Venkmen "A blood contact was mentioned as a method to write out terms and conditions later. There is no blood contract at this moment. Instead, a verbal agreement will suffice in establishing a truce. If you want one of these lawyer things during that part you are welcome to have one."
To Spengler "He should of thought of that before agreeing to send agents to represent him. He gave the method of dealing with eliminating the threat to the Dawn Guard. This allows them leeway to find alternatives. He could of more fully bound folks to his desires with a written contract rather then words and a drink. This is why I recommended a written one for you all."
Delph does reply to Warvin mentally
To Shavaris... when Delphinium sees her confusion and fear at another contract he says "Trust me Shavaris. I don't want to see you cry."
To T-Ward "That is why I am establishing the truce for defeating Vigo. You all seem to think there is more being agreed on beyond a simple agreement to fight Vigo together then talk more later. I do not understand why you resist. The options are limited due to previously agreed on contacts."
Adam stands there watching to see if the ghostbusters will accept this deal. “Yeah, a truce. I’m good with that. Until we handle this Vigo dude. Enemy of my enemy and so forth. Hmmm.” He observes the reaction of the ghostbusters to Delph’s proposal.
