OldMan casts Magic missile sending three darts into the air. They dart and fly through the air dodging the melee going on and plunge into the creature's eye. (Auto hit 3+1=4 damage times 3 darts = total of 12 HP). The darts plunge deep into the eye causing the fluid inside to rupture spewing out. The nothic screams in agony and falls to the ground.
"That spell is the one eye love. Heh Heh." OldMan smiles at his own joke.
Tubard, patiently leaning on his great axe in the meantime, looks around "Welp, guess I better make sure this thing is dead." (17+5=22 to hit). He half-heartedly swings his great axe at the Nothic's eye and deals (2+3=5 damage). Tubard looks at the OldMan "That's how eye roll"
OldMan smiles, "You know you might fit in well with us if you are so inclined." OldMan takes out his dagger and begins to cut the clawed fingers off of the dead nothic.
"To be honest I was somewhat looking forward to feeding a couple of the dead redbrands to him. But this thing definitely needed to die."
"How is everyone feeling? We have much to do. We need to get Carp home, find this things treasure and find the entrance to the Manor that probably lays ahead. Does anyone need some time to rest and heal before we proceed?"
Jake looks around the chamber to see if anything else is magically imbued. "OldMan, those magical arrows are quite impressive. Good work on that foul creature."
The structural integrity of the north bridge appears sound to your eye. The large rocks are stone columns from floor to ceiling; they appear to be basically serving as structural columns for the cave.
Regula shares with OldMan, "I'm feeling fine. Not a scratch on me in fact. If you want I can jog out and send Carp home. He plays in these woods after all, so I'm sure he can make it home alright if we want to press on."
As Jake looks further around the cavern searching for magic, he notices several passages leading off in various directions: two to the west (one north and one south), one to the north, and one to the east.
(Bearkiller goes back out to the front of the tunnel and tell's Carp to go back home for now to be safe and then returns back into the cavern with his fellow adventurers)
(Galben goes back towards the stone pillar and starts walking stealthily through the tunnel that is to the left of it (Currently to the left of Jake on the map)
Galben can see an old battered wooden chest hidden in a cubbyhold at the bottom of the crevasse under the bridge. Galben hops down and opens the chest and finds 160 sp, 120 gp, five malachite gems, two potions of healing, and a spell scroll of augury. The chest also holds a +1 longsword in a silver-chased scabbard. The sword is inscribed with the name “Talon,” and its hilt is worked in the shape of a bird of prey with outspread wings.
(Galben yells to Jake)

"Gentlemen, shall we take these one at a time? First to the west, then to the east?" Jake moves 30 ft due west through the first corridor.
