Jake, in the room with everyone else, sizes up everyone's wounds. "Is anyone hurt badly? I have a bit of healing I can provide. Or we could rest here for a short while."
Jake uses channel divinity to restore 7hp to Regula (heal to half maximum hp) before he sits down for a short rest. "Regula, you took quite a wallop from that Bugbear. Please allow Ilmater's grace to soothe your wounds." (That way you don't have to spend as many hit-dice healing.)
Thanks, Jake! I'm feeling much better now. (Regula's blood stops flowing as Jake heals him).
So, what is the party's plan? Do you all want to rest or press on? Both the bugbear and goblin are tied up at this point and can be woken up with a mere shake or two.
OldMan thinks we should question them at least enough to get some info as to what is where and who else might be here. But I'd be ok killing them and moving forward. I'm down to one spell so rest wouldn't be bad either.
OldMan asks, "Who is going to be interrogating these things? If you'd like me to do it then someone watch the door. I don't want anyone catching us off guard the same way we did them."
OldMan waits until the goblin is awake and then slowly sits down next him on the floor and proceeds to pull out one of the rotting goblin fingers he has kept in his pouch. Placing it on the ground in front of him, OldMan looks directly into the goblins beady eyes. (persuasion check 17+3=20).
"These bugbears treated you like shit but they kept you alive so I assume you are useful. You better prove to be useful to us or I am going to add to my collection."
With this he pulls out Klarg the bugbear's hair that he took and places it next to the goblin finger.
"I kill with spells but I dismember with steel.
Next he places his dagger on the ground next to the body parts.
"I am missing eyeballs. I can take yours or this bugbear garbage next to you. Your choice. Answer this man's questions. Who are you and what is going on in this place?"
The goblin rouses awake, and strains briefly at this bonds before resigning to his capture. Stuttering slightly, the goblin responds, "My name is Droop. I see you made quite work of the bugbears. Good riddance, I say. Smelly, horrid beasts. Always pushing me around and forcing me to follow their stupid orders." Droop spits on the unconscious one still bound near him. "You did me favor by getting rid of them. How can I be of help to you?"
Galben doesn't find anything further in his search of the room.
While OldMan and the other interrogate the goblin, Regula hops onto one of the beds and kicks his feet up, deciding to tend his wounds and merely watch the interrogation as he rests.
OldMan takes out a talon of the recently killed nothic pretending to investigate it as blood still drips from the mangled appendage.
"Droop you say. I would like to know what further danger awaits us as we proceed to empty this den of its evil." Showing Droop the claw, "As you can see we killed the horrible one eyed beast that guarded the entrance. I imagine it talked to you in you mind didn't it. Probably gave you bad dreams. Tell us what else does Glasstaff keep down here in the tunnels?
Droop gulps loudly. "I never went into the cave. That horrid monster was terrifying. There are many rooms in these dungeons below the manor, mostly occupied by the Redbrands. The Wizard's workshop and then Glasstaff's quarter's are just north of here, through the Common Room. You're likely to run into a few Redbrands in the common room, but if your ability to take care of these bugbears is any indication, I can't imagine they'll give you much trouble. There are many secret doors throughout the dungeon and a pit trap on the east side of the crypt, or was it in the Trapped Hall? Yes, yes, maybe the latter, so step lightly and keep an eye out. The slave pens are through the crypt, and there's sure to be a couple of guards in there."
OldMan smiles at Droop's willingness to cooperate. He slowly puts away the body parts as they talk. "Droop you clearly are smarter than these beasts have given you credit for. Thank you for the information on the traps that will definitely save us some trouble later. You mentioned slave pens. How many slaves are there and who are these slaves?"
Droop thinks for a moment. "Well, I only caught a quick glimpse of the slave pens when we were coming down to the barracks. I think there were a few humans, a couple of women and a younger boy. I don't know who they would be though; I didn't recognize them and only overheard the guards saying something about a woodcarver or lumberjack or something like that."
Jake, in the room with everyone else, sizes up everyone's wounds. "Is anyone hurt badly? I have a bit of healing I can provide. Or we could rest here for a short while."
(Galben)
"A short rest might be good. Then, we can question these creatures. Regula can you use your rope to tie up that goblin?"

(Galben)
"Might be good to question them and see what they know."
(He collects 3 morning stars and 3 javilins from the Bugbears)
(Galben turns) "Regula, Tubard would you like more javilins for your collections?
OldMan asks, "Who is going to be interrogating these things? If you'd like me to do it then someone watch the door. I don't want anyone catching us off guard the same way we did them."
(Thallan walks to the door to guard)
(Galben searches under all the beds to see if he finds anything and then takes a short rest)
"You can ask the questions OldMan or someone else can. I have no interest."
Jake hears word of dispatching the goblin and bugbear. He deliberately sits down farthest away from them, closes his eyes and takes a little nap.
(Bearkiller walks over to the tied up goblin and shakes him awake)
"What is your name? and what are you doing here? (Persuasion roll 9+1=10)

"I think it's time to head into that common room for the next round of fighting. I can head in first as I have yet to get a scratch on me."
(Galben)
"I'll follow behind you Tubard. Did you or Regula want any other of these javilins before we depart?"
