"We shall see if your puny axe is as sharp as your wit" Tubard searches for a large boulder to place in front of the door (Perception 15+2=17) and uses all his might to place it in front of the door (1 lol+5=6). He tries to lift a boulder just too heavy for him. He looks away embarrassed and just starts walking away from the house.
OldMan tries to remember whether the door opens outward or inward history roll 2+6=8.
"Most of the other buildings have had more than one door so I am not sure a boulder will stop us from getting ambushed. Tubard you have proven yourself more than once in my eyes. Let us all either pick a fight with these dragon lovers and show them that we are strong enough as a group to kill their beloved dragon or let us move down the road. I would love a drink and a long rest to heal up some of the battering I have taken. Remember this cloak and Robe do not protect much."
"Galben my fellow elf you have excellent hearing which more than makes up for your poor accuracy with that bow. Do you hear anything from inside the cabin?"
The boudler barely budged under Tubard's puffy-chested grunts. Also, the door opens inward anyway. You don't hear any further stirring or movement on the other side of the door and no one has exited since you closed the door on the cultists.
How would the party like to proceed - it's early afternoon at this point:
You can mess around and find out with the cultists.
Jake pulls the group in tight. "Listen, gentlemen (and newly introduced dragonborn). I'm all about a scrap as much as the next fellow. However, I am tired and tapped out for magical power. I have the ability to save one more person today and can't go through a sustained fight. I recommend we take the spoils of combat we have so far gathered, namely the big green dragon corpse in the wagon, and hightail back to civilization. Alternately, we could find a place to bed down for the night and then confront these lizard-worshippers on the other side of that door. But I certainly don't want to do it in my current condition. I think we might have enough time to make it to Neverwinter by dark. That might be a good place to rest, and possibly sell off the dragon hide for a pretty piece."
" I agree with Jake but we need to get the healing potions from our druid friend before we leave and once we get to town I'd like us to try and get scales, teeth and blood from our dragon, unless you want to try and do that before we start our travels."
Oldman smiles. "I agree. Let us go see our druid friend and then dismantle the dragon and head down the road to get some rest. We have other quests in our future. These dragon lovers can find another lizard to worship. Down the road I say."
As the party ambles back toward the druid's house, a bit bloodied and tired, the druid emerges to greet you.
"Ah, my new friends. I see you've had a good row about the place. I'm sure you had a hoot and holler around the ruins. Did you meet the weirdos holed up in that house down yonder? I only ever saw them from a distance but seems to me they need a new hobby. Perhaps I can teach them to help with the twig blights all around here. Ah well. What was it you asked me for? Oh yes, that's right."
He rushes back inside and emerges with several vials of potions. "Poison potions, was it? A dash of hemlock and a sprinkle of Witch kiss ought to do it," he says with a gleeful lilt in his voice.
The party stares back at him blankly. "Oh, I see you're not in a joking mood. Healing potions it is then."
Did you have any other business with the druid before moving along down the road? If you leave soon, you'd be able to make it to Neverwinter before night fall if you preferred to stay in more formal accommodations.
Sorry everyone! It's going to be hit and miss for me through October but I'll try my best to post when I can. Feel free to try and keep things moving and choosing your next steps, quests, etc.
Anyone that wants to harvest something from the dragon needs to post what part they're trying to harvest and roll 2 d20s. The first d20 you can roll with advantage for having the druid help you - this decides if you successfully harvest your item - need to roll a 16 or better to succeed. The second roll determines the quality of the item harvested - 1-5 is poor quality, 6-10 is mediocre, 11-15 is good, and 16-20 is excellent quality.
OldMan decides to focus on a Dragon tooth. rolls a 19 with the advantage of the druid so he successfully removes a tooth. Rolling a 9 the tooth is only of mediocre quality. Obiously the tooth has some decay from lack of cleaning from the Dragon worshipers.
Ok based on the DM ruling. OldMan uses his vast knowledge of dentistry to remove the entire mouthful of teeth and fangs from the dragon. In the process he tries to create a flow of blood for Thalan and his empty vials. Rolled 18 he succeeds in plunging his blade into one of the cavities created by the missing fangs. 6 for the quality of blood.
The blood flows from the open wound but it is quite thick and is wanting to clot.
"Thalan come quick with your vials you won't get much but there is at least some flowing now."
Jake takes stock of the dragon in front of him. "I think the heart of a dragon would make a fine prize. But first, I must get through these dragon scales. I have read of dragon scale armor. I think I would like some of that."
Jake casts [spell]guidance[\spell] on himself as he prepares to harvest enough dragon scale for a suit of armor.
With the druid's help, Jake butchers the dragon's hide and makes a right mess of it. (13 with advantage and guidance.)
"Well, we need to slay another dragon for that dream of armor to come true."
(Galben looks at OldMan)
"He's probably talking about you, you're no spring chicken."

(Galben moves towards the door and listens)
Perception roll: 2+4= 6
"I don't hear much."

Tubard wants to harvest 4 fangs (For javelins) and 1 claw (For a dagger). Rolled a 2 and 4. Tubard fails
(THe DM said we are rolling for all the teeth at once) So OldMan for 40 teeth and 4 fangs
(Thalan walks up to the beast with some empty vials)
"Let's see if we can get some blood from this beast"
(Rolls a 15 with advantage)
"So close but so far"

"I wouldn't mind some daggers."
Moonraker grabs 2 claws and begins to pull but they don't seem to budge. (8 with advantage)
"I don't really need them anyway..."
Jake takes stock of the dragon in front of him. "I think the heart of a dragon would make a fine prize. But first, I must get through these dragon scales. I have read of dragon scale armor. I think I would like some of that."

"Let me see if I can have any luck with the scales on this side"
(Rolls a 15 with advantage)
"No luck over here either"
