Xorn watches the others and knows following will not work. He is currently nsidering rhe cauldron when he hears the others fall through the floor. He rushes to see if they need help but is apparently too late. They are gone. 

[ooc]there is no way Xorn is making the short cut. Is there a way to get the feather fall on him? It’s either that or he’s gonna ride the cauldron. OR, he’s going to go find the dragon and hitch a ride down on its back. Lol. 

( I Think that the timing in RL is very different that In-game timing. I am thinking that we all make the roll at the same time, falling or not at the same time, so those who fall are affected by the spell, but... that’s up to the GM of course... ) 

Seeing the floor give way, Bryony shakes her head and peers over the new gap.  "We might need to try the cauldron after all," she says to Xorn, straightening and hefting her quarterstaff.  "Unless you see another way down from here."

Xorn sees the others fall through the floor. He can join up and he knows the Shan got his back. But jumping takes some kind self control. 

"By the gods!" As Escarin falls the spell catches him almost instantly, and he sees the city below. "Thanks", he calls to Shan, as they descend, "I'm glad you are as clumsy as me!"

He also tries to identify parts of the city from an aerial view and as they start to get closer to the ground he starts looking for enemies, including the dragon creatures who jumped out of the pot.

"Keep your eyes open Shan, we could have company at the bottom."

Perception 15

Xorn charges the floor trying to get there quickly. Also hoping his momentum will keep him going when his hooves try to stop him. 

13 wisdom check. 

“Wait for me!” He calls and jumps through the holes. 

Shan catches him into the intricate web of magic tendrils that she feels and sees and slow down the fall of the big minotaur.

Seeing the minotaur charge, Bryony realizes she's the last one left up here.  Which absolutely will not do.  Courage has never been a flaw for her (other than having perhaps an overabundance of it).  So she shrugs, gives the ogre a parting wave and dashes after her companions and drops down after.

Praying to Gods she doesn't know that it's not the last mistake of her life.

Themagic swilrs around Bryony as it slows her fall into a comfortable descend. 

Alex

Turning to Kin "Don't tell me you want to join in the flying? They don't have a guide to the King."

Kinlin was about to jump with the others, but Alex’s words stopped him. 

“I guess that we should continue and hurry. I heard Escarin talking about more of that creatures below... “ he turns to Bupu “ Hurry my little friend, the rest needs us!” 

Tyrros follows his brother shakin his head at Xorn but inside happy he didn't have to dive into the unknown.

"So where are you all from anyway?" Bryony asks as the party drifts down via magic.  "I'm from...well, it's called Sanction and it's a long, long way away from here.  You all seem to know each other pretty well, though.  How'd you all meet?"

"Palanthus although I spent time in Solace, I think we could do this more easily on the ground though" Escarin says whilst still searching the ruins for signs of danger.

Xorn looks up at Bryony, “Solace. Most of us grew up there.” The Minotaur looks down and shakes his head. He was certainly glad Shan was able to use her magic like she did in Solace to stop thier fall. He put a lot of faith in her when he jumped and he still can’t quite believe that he did. 

Shan doesn’t answer as she is trying to memorize the layout of the city as they fall.

Geoff, Alex, Kinlin, Tyrros. 

Geoff follows Kinlin and Alex, after Bupu, and Tyrros trails along. 

After a 100 yards of tunnels, Geoff is starting to really think the other way down would have been better. The stench of refuse hits him in the face and almost makes him gag. 

Bupu stops before some sort of stone chute and smiling shows it to those who followed her. 

"Way down." She says before jumping into it, head first. 

You're not sure but she says something after. You just hope it is not a warning of some sort. 

Kinlin

With a broad smile on his face Kinlin turns to the brothers.

”Let’s do this! Seems fun!” And he jumps after Bupu.

 Shan, Escarin, Xorn and Bryony

You both see what ressenbles the ruins of a wizard's tower to the far east of the cave. Next to it is a large building that could have been a library or a temple. 

You'll have to get closer to be sure.

Xorn spots a large group of draconian converging toward the area where the pot usually settles down. No one has seen you yet

Alex

"Kinlin, I think your idea of fun is way different than mine. Here goes nothing." Alex will follow Bupu and Kin into the tunnel.
