"Not at all. Be glad to have you along. I had to use up my medical supplies a little while back and I would feel more -- well -- prepared if I found some more before we set off."
As they look about the town in search of a merchant, Wynn takes this opportunity to get to know Poco a bit better. "You were walking the Triboar Trail by yourself when you came upon us. That's awfully confident, even for an experienced adventurer. What brings you this direction, if you don't mind me asking?"
"Oh I don't really travel by specific destination. I just follow the road and let fate decide where I end up. Life isn't about making money for me, I just want to bring happiness to those who need it."
After hearing Thistle's offer in Barthen's Provisions, Poco offers 3gp to Wynn to supplement in buying the combined kit for 7gp.

"Must be nice being so free." Wynn accepts Poco's 3gp with a nod of thanks and combines it with 4gp of his own to get the combined kit. He stows the kit and turns walks back towards the inn with Poco.
"I'll make you a deal, Poco. You may have noticed that we aren't the -- erm, how shall I put this -- bulkiest members of our party. I'll watch your back if you watch mine. Deal?"
Toblen, the barkeep, answers Mathark, "She's always lived out there in that old mill. Her husband was a miller before he died a few years back, and she says she's comfortable out there. She'll stay in town when there is a baby due and it's not too far to trek if we need her other services."
"White feathers, you say? Fletching quality, obviously. I'd check the Lionshield Coster. There just about the only place that stocks weapons and armor, so I guess there the most likely place."
[[OOC: I'd prefer not to have everyone waiting while we resolve multiple independent shopping trips in real time so I'm gonna summarize some stuff here. If anyone else has things they want to do in town before we get going, speak now.]]
The Lionshield Coster is a large barnlike building with open doors showing numerous crates and barrels, both open and closed. It's marked by a sign depicting a shield with a blue lion on it. This symbol is marked on many of the crates as well.
The owner, a sharp-tongued human woman of thirty-five named Linene Graywind, responds to your request quizzically. "White feathers? For Fletching? I have arrows, 20 for a gold crown, that will do just as good, no matter the color. I'm not sure I have what you seek. Are you going to be in town a while? If you'd like I can try to get a bulk of them in from outside of town. I'd want to secure a price, say 3 gp for... I don't know... 5 lbs.? You'll likely have to do some sorting, as I'm likely to find a mishmash of fletching feathers including a lot of white, or a bulk of white feathers that have some fletching quality. Probably take a week or two, but I'll know a little sooner if they are coming in at all. Deal?"

(( No shopping needs for Rohani, she is all set ))
Finishing a long breakfast, Rohani returns to her room to check her supplies and polish Howler. Satisfied, she makes her way back down and waits for her companions to return from the stores.
The shoppers return and you all prepare to leave for Umbrage Hill. It's only a few miles south of the town, like 90 minutes each way at a leisurely but steady pace, so you should get there well before noon.
[[OOC: I'm assuming there is nothing else, please let me know if there is anything. Also let me know if you have a preference for the front or back of the party while traveling.]]
Your journey goes well, the land being gently rolling grassland, broken my the occasional copse of trees. The terrain gets hillier as you travel, and the path you are following curves round a hill blocking your view of the windmill on top of Umbrage Hill, which is the largest hill for miles.
Built on the slope of the hill is an old stone windmill surrounded by an iron fence. A large winged monster with a spiky tail is trying to knock down the windmill’s front door. A woman appears in a second-floor window, waves at you, and yells, “A little help?!”

The monster starts at about 100 feet from you, it flies in the air and lands about 50 feet away and shoots three large spikes from its tail at the party, while growling, "Yes! More MEAT!"
What manner of beast is this? Rohani!! Are you all right?
Momentarily disoriented by the sudden agressiveness of the beast, Dargrimm quickly pulls himself together. His first instinct is to help his wounded companion, then rush toward the monster.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Mathark seeing the thing shoot spikes towards himself runs out of thr way and towards cover of nearby trees. Taking his long bow out he draws back and fires and arrow.

Rohani groans in pain at the deep gash in her shoulder where the spike had grazed her. I should really consider getting some armor, she thought to herself, wincing.
Her thoughts are interrupted by Dargrimm's spell, and her eyes widen as the gash begins to mend. "Wasn't doing so hot before, but a lot better now thanks to you! You're a lifesaver, Dargrimm!"
Emboldened by the healing, Rohani rushes forwards (30 feet) with a yell towards the beast and hurls a javelin, hoping to strike it.
(For Sleep you roll 5d8 and then if the target has less than that amount of hitpoints it falls asleep. You can roll the dice on mobile by typing in [roll ]5d8[ /roll] without the spaces)
I just noticed Poco is using the Character Sheet die roller, that's actually fine as I can verify it, although I'm used to using the forum dice roller under the D6 button on the post editor.
