With the reflexes like a cat, then like a sloth, Crispy leans back swiftly as the clever dinosaur girl attempts to claw her, misses, but - "AHHGGG!" Crispy yells as the dino chomps down on her arm while she struggles for her short swords

"IT HOITS!!" She exclaims to no one in particular. Shaking the dino loose, the shorts swords come free, and she readies to counterattack very viciously.

Liam has raised a good point- the dagger would have notified y'all. Disregard the surprise round. *cries*

Gregor starts tap dancing around the velociraptors claw attacks, and manages to deny it purchase until it decides to bite down on Gregors dancing feet, successfully dealing 6 damadge. 

"No wait!" Crispy announces, since no one cares. "I'm ok!!"

 Spinning with the warning from Vigilance, Liam manages to evade as V1 pounces towards him.  He'll immediately respond with a 1st level Magic Missile, all 3 bolts aimed at V1.

Force Damage: 12

His face remains sternly impassive the entire time, revealing no hint of surprise or shock.

Yeah, we all leveled up when we reached the island. 

 Calcifer's Initiative (Raven form): 15

Slip in the familiar turn after Liams. Yes, everyone's level 4 now :)

Liam will telepathically direct Calcifer to distract V2, giving Crispy advantage on her next attack against it if she so desires.

Three bright, small darts of force slam into V1, sending it reeling back in pain. Small dents can be seen in its side, indicitive of internal damage. It leers back at you and moves in for revenge, slashing with its claws and biting at Liam!

Raptor (v3) likes the look of Chubbs with it’s team mate right there on the other side of him!

Map update:

As a reaction to V1's retaliation attacks, Liam casts Shield, boosting his AC to 17 until the start of his next turn and thereby avoiding the damage from V1.

Nia flourishes with her staff, takes aim and casts Scorching Ray at the monsters menacing herself and Liam.

Ray one targeting V1:   Attack: 21 Damage: 11 fire damage

Ray two targeting V2:   Attack: 16 Damage: 4 fire damage

Ray three targeting V1: Attack: 21 Damage: 8 fire damage

The gem on top of Nia’s staff spins more rapidly as it chanells a ray of heat at raptor 2, burning its flesh. A larger beam tracks at the raptor which has been targeting Liam- searing it through its neck like a lazer, removing its head clean off the top of its body. Burning flesh can be smelt as its lifeless carcass hits the ground with a loud thud. The raptors around begin to chitter and growl angrily.

Gregor’s up!

Gregor calmly (no rage) recklessly attacks velociraptor 5, and uses his great weapon master feat. If Gregor killed the Velicraptor, he gets to attack again this turn, and every other creature has advantage on him for the rest of the turn)

(The newly leveled...doh!) Chubby swings his trusty Bottle Opener at Velociraptor 3 [Attack: 20, Damage: 12]

He'll the expend 1 superiority die, and use his battle master's Menacing Attack (attempting to frighten the target. I add 5 damage to the attack, and the target must make a Wisdom saving throw.  On a failed save, it is frightened of Chubby until the end of Chubby's next turn.)

So, Chubby caused a total of 17 damage to Velociraptor 3, and it now has to roll a WIS saving throw to save against being frightened.

Crispy, finally ready, leaps over the husk of velociraptor1, silently thanking Calcifer for giving her an opening she needed.

If that's enough damage to drop it, i'll swing around to Liams right - attempt to give him a high five - and offhand stab velocirator3 before he potentially runs off at the sight of the Chubs.

Aw, that's just terrible. That's what I get for trying to be nice and high five someone.

Liam is unusually focused in this combat, reading the motions of all the participants as best he can, and as such ends up raising his hand to meet Crispy's high five without even fully thinking about it.  :)
