Liam's WisST: 15 Would like to keep same initiative.
Barring an negative effects of a failed saving throw, Liam suddenly feels a mix of horror and anger flood through his system at the sight of Nia being so easily tossed aside. The emotions are still faint by most standards, but still far more than he's used to.
Depending on how close he is to the demon ape, his first instinct would be to run and check on Nia. Seeing her unconscious, he would attempt to stabilize her. Medicine: 18
If the demon ape is too close to Liam for him to get away without provoking it to attack, he would use Shocking Grasp to hopefully stun it briefly so he can get to Nia.
It seemed to me that the DM was allowing us to individually reroll if we wanted to, or we could keep our same initiative. Didn't seem like a whole group thing to me. But yeah, if anyone's rerolling (glances over at Crispy) we do need to know the new order.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Sorry guys, I didn’t communicate that very well. I meant to have a vote on whether to keepo initiative or re-roll. Seeing as everyone’s fine keeping their original except Ban, I’ll let Ban use her new one this time. That was my fault sorry!
crispy 23, liam 21, calcifer 20, nia 17 (u/c) gregor 15, chubbs 10 and then the giant ape with 4.
Nia has been thrown down the path, so in the direction you were heading towards the temple.
Reacting off muscle memory, Crispy draws her short swords and slashes at the leg of the beast, slashing it twice but it doesn’t seem to react much. Liam, also acting off instinct, races over to Nia to help stabalize her (successfully) by mouth to mouth, getting some air into her lungs after being extremily winded.
Gregor has a special kindred connection with beasts, and therefore understands a lot of them. But this, this thing, he does not understand... and that scares him. (Gregor, you are now frightened for the next minute).
Calcifer is up and then Nia, who is u/c but stable... so then it would be Gregor.
Crispy eyes the demon as best she can, watching it's movements, eager to strike again in tandem with Chubby, the years of friendship and experience now transformed into an effective fighting force, lethal and unforgiving, feelings aside transforming into skill and deadly focus.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(If i have the terrified status right, I have disadvantage and I can’t move towards the demon ape)
Gregor will take advantage of Cal’s distraction, fly into a rage, and throw one of his Javelon’s at the demon. (I believe that disadvantage and advantage cancel each other out?) The rage damadge bonus doesn’t apply, but he maintains the rage because it doesn’t specificy melee attacks.
Gregor positions himself between his friends and the demon as best he can and let’s out a shakey raunt.
“Gregor not a-a-afraid of you big stupid monkey. Gregor bets you have tiny brain to match your tiny pee pee for attacking female before the big males.”

Upon seeing his friends getting hurt, Chubby lets out a guttural growl, and attacks the demon with a Menacing Attack maneuver (expending his 2nd superiority dice):
Attack: 18 Damage: 7 plus 3 damage for the menacing attack.
The demon must now make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, it is frightened of Chubby until the end of my next turn.
Chubby will then use his Action Surge (fighter skill) to take one additional action and bonus action:
Chubby swings his battleaxe a second time: Attack: 24 Damage: 9
Finally, for his bonus action, he'll use Second Wind (fighter skill) to regain 11 hit points.

Wis save: 6
And I’ll keep my initiative
"Note to self: don't moon demons!" Crispy shouts. " Watch yourself! Demons and dinos. What kind of island IS this...."
She brandishes her short swords, getting a general vibe of what everyone wants to do - her urge to fight overcoming common sense.
I'll make a wisdom save: 14
New initiative, if I can: 17 GHRG!
Spending 1/3 luck points to improve that: 10
KABOOOOOM!!!! If it's possible to use the higher roll because of the situation - not sure if this is the same combat or not - then I will.

Melee Spell Attack: 15
Lightning Damage: 4
I'll make my move if you allow the re-initiative roll that I got:
"Can't believe it's gonna end like this. picking on criminal scum is one thing...but THIS." Crispy whispers. "Might as well die with honor..."
Sneak Attack: Attack: 18 Damage: 17
Offhand: Attack: 15 Damage: 4
Crispy, technically you have to use your bonus action in order to make an off hand attack...so if you attack twice you can't disengage...
Ach, that's right. Welp, we're dead. Correction. I'm dead.
Are we following our original initiative order, or rolling anew? Either way, what’s the current order so I know when to make my move?

I got a 23 I think, so I just went. Squeeze me in when it's "my turn".
Gregor got hit by whatever we’re making the wisdom roll for, but he still has a high initiative
Exactly, since we had the option to reroll I did, and went. No worries - I'm sure the DM will sort it out.

I’ll update in about an hour :)
Initiative 22
"CoS" Rumble- Tabaxi Shadow Monk
Okies, so, initiative is currently:
crispy 23, liam 21, calcifer 20, nia 17 (u/c) gregor 15, chubbs 10 and then the giant ape with 4.
Nia has been thrown down the path, so in the direction you were heading towards the temple.

Calcifer is up and then Nia, who is u/c but stable... so then it would be Gregor.
"CoS" Rumble- Tabaxi Shadow Monk
Liam telepathically urges Calcifer to distract this creature as best it can.
Help Action, gives advantage on the next attack against the creature if made by one of Liam's allies before Calcifer's next turn.
Nice work. Nia is unconcious but stable.. I don’t think you can do much right now- Gregor.

Attack roll: 21
Damadge: 4
Sounds good Gregor! The javelin nicks its shoulder as it flies past, stright and true, embedding itself into a large tree just behind the monster.
Chubbs is up!
