"Just want it defendable before we try bringing Mik out here. Don't know as I asked if he'd come during the day, but think there was something about not liking the sun. But if yetis mob us, I want to be able to hold them off. Wastes less time traveling back and forth each day, especially if the Librarian will send her golems out here with food."

((It is going to be more than an hour walk from the library in the snowy conditions. You've picked a spot outside the wide area the mountains seem to be shaped to funnel water/debris down.))
Cladmir thinks about the the cold and dark and yetis seem the strongest contenders to cause problems, though 'thine yeti's be-est most defensive of territory' so maybe the pack they dealt with had this spot? Trolls aren't likely because of their appetites and the harder time getting food in the highlands. Wolves are a real possibility though. Everything else seems like it would be unlikely.
"Besides the Yetis we may also have to look out for wolves. If we want to stay out here we will need a sizable fire to keep watch and for warmth as the sun goes down. Do we have enough supply for that?" Cladmir took a quick look if Ernos before continuing, "I know our new friend here can make fire and all but I would not like him to expend all his energy keeping us warm at night."
(did not think we were that far out.) Jaq will agree to staying out here, if needed, though he is still not looking very pleased about it.
"Will a fire not just attract everything that is out here? I really am not a mountaineer at all, more of a city or forest guy." He will follow the lead of whoever sounds knowledgeable in this area.
((I think heading back and at least talking to Mikram. Kroshav had been planning on just living in a cave doing it all himself, so while he's begrudgingly grateful for the extra hands, he's chaffing at the logistics of keeping a crew fed and warm.))

The party head back and find things much as they left them, the entrance is fully cleared of snow now and the horses are up above stomping around as a trio of golems look sightlessly on. The Librarian greets you through the trio,
"What have you found? You look uninjuried, so no trouble I can presume?"
Both the horses clop over to Kroshav and rub their heads on him, Charlie shoving Eula away to be up first. Eula waits patiently behind for her turn to nuzzle and offers friendly greetings and suggests to Kroshav,
<Maybe I could get to come tomorrow? Charlie wants to come too but I don't he really wants to, you know?>
She directs the party to Mikram though he would have been easy enough to find having laid out a sleeping mat near the stone he has been working. He is snoring loudly as the party come over to him. A single golem stands beside Mikram and the dwarf has used it to lean a number of stone working tools on. Kroshav's heavy steps wake the dwarf with a start as he grabs a pick laying beside him and trying, and failing, to stand. After a heart beat of bewilderment his expression sours and he recognizes the party, narrowing his eyes as Ernos. In Dwarven he asks,
((Helm of Comprehend Languages from Lurn's stuff is available too))

Cladmir is going to stay quiet in the rather akward silence -- partially because he had a feeling that Kroshav was somehow not happy with days activity and he was not quite sure why.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

"Yeah, found a spot. Started excavating it, but could use your eye. You alright with going topside as long as it's not bright out? Tried getting it to where it's defendable so we don't have to waste a couple hours hiking out and back each day. "
((The belt also gives him darkvision, so he'd be somewhat less opposed to conveying Mikram too and from under cover of night.))

Mikram looks at the, as of yet unbearded dragonborn,
"Aye. Aye'm up for that. Been up once before, not in the bright thought. Just when the ... Stars and ... Moon were there. Aye can take some discomfort."
He struggles with remembering some words but does appear grimly willing.
He turns to his statue that is actually starting to look like your one armed, passed friend.
Kroshav walks up to the statue and places a hand on its shoulder, bowing his head for a moment.
"Aye. I can take the horses to get some wood to make a sled or litter, might take a bit to get that build, but suppose the Librarian might have other ideas too. Not sure that's something her golems could just carry there or not. Would you rather stay out there while we work, and not have to come back and forth to rest here? I was hoping to get it defensible and to where we can shut out some of the cold while we work, but it might take a bit longer."

"Aye'm fine with staying there. No stranger to living rough."
He gives his missing legs a look to emphasize the point.
The Librarian does say through the golem,
"Carrying the statue would be possible, but given the current conditions, the chances of slipping and dropping it would be higher. I'm willing to attempt it if that is acceptable?"
((How were you thinking of making the tomb defensible?))
((Making it large enough inside that we can comfortably camp/work there, and have a stone or wood barrier that can be placed at the entrance to keep the worst of the wind and chill out, while limiting the ability of things to get in.))

(( With the material from digging, especially now that we are going to make it fairly large, we should have sufficient material to make some sort of earthwork to block the wind and make it so that we only need one person to guard the way in/out. ))
Cladmir will also go about finding wood supply for fuel. Since we have a bunch of empty crates he could break those down, bundle them up, and put them on the sled to bring to the site.

You do have some wood to burn, but not a great deal of it. Various crates and bed frames mostly. A few doors. ))
