"I have not had dealings with dragon -- dragon before," said Cladmir as he gave a Kroshav a sheepish look. "If we both had a common enemy that could only benefit us, shouldn't it?"
"A common enemy just makes us easier to manipulate."

Seeing Kroshav going back to sleep Cladmir wanted to do the same. But he was wide awake from the biting cold and still jumpy from the random encounter in the dark, so he will walk up to the nearest person who is awake (not sure who at this point) and semi-whisper as to not wake the paladin.
The rest of the night passes uneventfully, the already quiet forest perhaps made even so by the visitor during the night. Shortly before Jaq changes watch with Ernos it begins to snow again. At first it is a light dusting but gradually builds in to a heavy fall. The mild wind which brought the snow in, interestingly, comes from the east rather than from the mountains to the north and, while it is still cold, the temperature increases noticeably from face burning frigid to just cold.
The snowfall does, however preclude any chance of spotting the smoke from the camp the group had initially decided to visit.
((Morning! What are you going to do? If you heading to the camp you were initially targeting whomever is leading the way can give me a survival roll. If you are going to try and head back to the Archives the wayfinder can also give me a survival.
"After that eventful night... I suggest we leave this forest while we can."

The group decides to leave any undead threats to the dragon threat and begin trudging their way back in the heavy snowfall. Kroshav, with a bit of horse sense from Eula, pick the direction which slopes up the most because that is where their destination is...
There is a bit of an odd smell on the wind to Ernos' nose but Kroshav doesn't notice anything except that he might need to consider washing when he gets a chance. Or maybe it is Cladmir that needs the scrub? Could be Eula too.
((Any attempt to be sneaky or just straight back?))
Kroshav would want to head out through a somewhat circuitous route, hoping that shifting/falling snow will help obscure their tracks if the dragon and her kobolds get curious about where they came from/are heading.

The party begin the noticeably more difficult ascent back up the mountain, slowed by an attempt to keep the exact destination a mystery.
Kroshav has a good sense where they are, despite the not optimal visibility and after a few hours feels like he can swing towards the Cut proper. By the time things begin to darken he is confident they are not too far from the edge of the forest and beginning of the washout that becomes the ravine, but in the dark can't be completely sure how far.
((Going to push on in the dark or camp out another night?))
"I think the kobolds were hers, maybe they were hunting the goblinkin? We could go a long way round back?"

Ealu responds with,
<I was asleep, but I try my best!>
Sword replies with a wave of annoyance and, somehow, telepathic angry mumbling.
<Let him know? Oh, right. Like I was doing. Just turns his brain off for a third of the day and I need to let him know? Oh I'll let....>
It goes on and on as he falls asleep.
It is a soothing white noise to him at this point.

"Since there seems to be no undead here and the dragon doesn't seem keen with having undead in the forrest we should probably leave."
