Seeing the dead goblin dragged by Ernos lying on the ground, and with no sign of enemy yet, Cladmir will get and see if he can glean any clues from the dead body.
As Kroshav explains how they missed the goblin, Cladmir hops down from Ealu and hunkers down to inspect her corpse.
He sees she don't have much in the way of gear - no tent and little food. He takes this to mean she either stashed it somewhere before coming up or didn't come very far. He finds her dagger and shortbow along with a quiver of 20 arrows. She doesn't have any money on her but does have three small rocks that glitter, which may more may not be worth anything. In the pouch with the rocks there is a bit of stretched leather with something burned into it, looks like letters maybe or symbols?
The rest of her gear is basic, roughly made cold weather gear.
The trio's eyes (and Ealu's) are pulled upward by a harsh, familiar shriek of a gryphon. Scanning the sky directly overhead, no gryphon is in evidence but another, more distant, shriek sounds followed rapidly by an answering pair. They don't seem to be very close, but probably not more than a mile or two away and probably to the west. The trees provide enough cover that anything flying would need to nearly be overhead to see the group, but still it's probably disconcerting to hear.
Cladmir would grab the pouch to show the others and share his findings.
"No tent, and almost no food. So there may be a camp nearby. Also found this, but not sure if it means anything," Cladmir added at the end before showing the pouch with the symbols to the others.
Jaq and Thir finish the last spurt across the open ground until they come to the other side of the washout. A mile of rough ground later they come to the tomb and find only an angry dwarf and a golem.
They, mostly Jaq, is told by Mikram,
"Aye have no idea where they went. They all just took off down the mountain. Idiots left me here."
Ernos glances at the scrawlings and shrugs. "We should start to head back, but stay clear of the forest edge. If the gryphons serve the dragon they may see us in the open."

Ernos doesn't see any value in continuing to drag the body around. Could potentially use it as bait if the gryphons aren't working for the dragon, but it's annoying to drag it around.

The trio (plus Ealu), presumably, begin to work their way back up the mountain. One goblin body is left in the snow behind them as evidence of their passing.
A few somewhat nearby shrieks cause eyes to be tilted to the sky, but no griffons are spotted overhead.
A short while later the group finds themselves facing a much more threatening danger, an angry dwarf. Mikram's disapproval of being left is visible, and infact distracts from the elf beside him.
About a quarter hour after Jaq arrives at the tomb he spots the rest climbing back up. Mikram has, in that time, managed to work himself into a proper tizzy.
"What would aye have done if they'd gotten eaten? Just run off like pig iron laddles."
Thir emerges from the tomb and says to Jaq,
"Not big, but okay. Water good."
She follows Jaq and Mikram's gazes to the others and asks Jaq,
Cladmir looked over at Ernos with perhaps approval for the first time. "Our friend here blasted it. Good thing we did not run into any ambushed out there."
Also assuming that Cladmir still got the bag with the symbol.
"Also got this off the its dead body. Wonder if you know anything about the symbol on this bag."

Kroshav will have a look at the symbols, struggling to recall the class he had to take as part of his training.

Kroshav has no idea what the stuff on the skin is, it is are rather artfully rendered though.
Jaq will ignore the yeti now, letting it move away. Better to get back to the camp then have a loud fight.

“A small group is just behind us.” He looks back to see exactly how far behind they are.
Jaq looks and sees no group in sight, but that's nota surprise given he can't see very far.
Mikram follows his gaze then looks down the mountain after Kroshav and crew.
"Wonder who'll be here first."

Cladmir looks up a bit worried. Still a bit timid about getting dropped the last time they fought flying beasts.
"It may still be a good idea to stick close to the trees so it can provide some cover at least."

Not seeing any goblin in tow, Mikram asks the obvious question,
"Dead or got away?"
Mikram looks over to Cladmir,
"The devil man has some sense about'm then. Good ye didn't leave meh here to die."
Mikram takes the leather piece (not a bag) and spins it around, squinting at it. With a Snort he tosses it back.
"Goblin gibberish. Barely can tell it's dwarven runes."
