((You are all still in the tunnel separated from the library, and the drow within it, by the 10' cube of webbing. No one sees anything moving through the webbing but you could all hear them if not understand them. The tunnel opens to a corridor heading perpendicular to it, so the only thing on the otherside of the webbing is 10' of empty corridor and wall. For now.))
Jaq creates an image of the spider in the web. He notices that the shouting has stopped and things on the other side of the web have returned to quiet.
<Yes, no problem! I've never done that before but I am sharp. The sharpest. Better than any other weapon.>
Kroshav moves in to start clearing the webbing. The webbing, while sticky, doesn't put up much defense and is largely cleared after less than a half minute. This leaves the phantom spider of Jaq's hovering oddly in the air.
"I would be able to use Mold Earth to shape stone such that it is harder to walk through, but only in a narrow area, so it would take some preparation to prepare a proper delay." (5' area of difficult terrain per cast)

((@Dead, Only one drow came with Ruby, the other two were well outside the 10'.
@Dead and Spider, Joe does know there were at least three drow around 80' from the tunnel's exit into the library in one direction. Based on the yelling Lurn could tell there was at least one some distance the other direction.))
<No, no one other than your friends are close enough for me to see them.>
As Cladmir observed the somewhat confusing scene he was reminded again that he was no longer part of a trained and drilled unit, but in a rag-tag group of survivors lumped together. For a fleeting moment he felt the urge that he should just cut and run, but as quickly as that thought surfaced it was batted down by a mix of pragmatism, loyalty, and fear. He did not know where he was and where to go, he still felt indebted to these strangers, and he rather not risk their wrath by abandoning them prematurely. Making up his mind he started moving from the back of the group toward the front and readied the hand crossbow.
"I'm no good with magic but it looks like we have two choices here. We can either make a run for it now and get as much of a head start as possible, or we could setup something that could delay them for a while. I think that between that floating spider, my bolts, and Jaq's arrows (pretty sure Jaq has a bow?) we might be able to discourage them from just rushing down that tunnel, but that's just a maybe. So do we stay or do we run?"
"We could discourage them, but they're good with bows, can see in the dark, and use a poison that can easily knock us out with just a scratch, though it just takes a shake to wake up again. They have the advantage in ranged bombardments. It's best if we can catch them at a corner, where all of us are able to fight, but judging by the distance, they want to flank us and ensure one group can pelt us with arrows while we push to engage the other."

<Sword, you think you can slice through this web without getting stuck?>
If affirmative, Kroshav will start carving a tunnel to avoid having to risk burning it.

<See!>
Joe shakes at seeing the sudden spider and tries to keep composure when it is exposed into the air.
"We should head down tha tunnel, thar maybe more drow thar but Ah know that there are drow to tha library."
<Good job, Sword! You sense any drow or spiders?>

Ah. Okay, that's my bad. I thought all three followed. Also this experience has taught me that I really really need fireball.
((You ALWAYS need fireball. It solves so many problems.))
