"Eula may be really smart, but I don't think it'll work for her. But here it is, " He hands it over to Kroshav, "I think you should hold of on using it until you have Joe give you instructions."
Lurn peers down into the dark water, then scoops up a handful of snow, pressing it into a ball, "Not sure if this will actually work. Probably just a moment if it does at all." Casting Light on the snowball, he drops it down into the water.

The water lights up as the glowball hits and starts to melt. It is interesting to watch as glowing flecks spread away from the ball and start to fall slowly to the bottom of the room while others remain suspended in the water.
The light shows that the room is 10ft tall and the bottom 6ft is filled with water. The floor is hard to make out but is probably stone covered with some silt or dirt. Leaning in and looking up and down reveals that the room to be long and narrow, 40ftx20ft, with a single door leading out and to the north. The door isn't far from the hole in the ceiling but it is nearly completely under the water. The light from the glowball extends enough to show what is probably a mostly submerged hallway.
"Do we really want to investigate down there? Seems like enough to confirm there are other traces of the city, but going down there with all the water would be annoying. Or, are we expecting to find something?"

Nodding at the comment, Jaq answers, "You are probably right, Lurn. I was really hoping we'd find something to search through and find old antiquities and such. But everything but the top 4 feet is flooded. And it looks like anything else we find is going to be even lower down, so would have to be flooded too."
Jaq thinks a bit while peering down the hole.
"Well, with the flying belt, I'm willing to head down and take a bit of a look but I'd stay above the water. Maybe there is something that is above the waterline worthy of looking at or scavenging. I don't think it would take long. Maybe tie a rope to me just in case something horrible happens and I need to be hauled back up here to you quickly. And can you put light on something that floats, like a piece of wood?
Cladmir thought about having to adventure in a deep dark cave filled with water after all the ordeals he's been through in a deep dark dry cave and shuddered. He wanted to say he wants no part of this, but instead looked at Kroshav. Whatever the Dragonborn decided Cladmir will follow.
"I can put Light on anything, so long as it isn't too big. I could put it on your clothing if you wanted."

"We can tie the other end to Ealu. Lurn and I are plenty strong to pull you up, but if you need out of there in a hurry, nothing going to be faster than a horse hauling you out at full gallop!"
Kroshav will see to making sure that Ealu has a clear runway if she needs to yank Jaq out of the flooded hole. He'll tuck the wand away so she doesn't accidentally bite down on it.

Looking at the horse, "Ok. Don't pull too fast if I need it to get out Ealu, I know how fast and strong you are, or I'll probably get smashed up on the way out, but yeah, be faster that Kroshav would be!"
After getting the rope tied and after the light spell, he will activate the belt and practice flying for the first few seconds. He will use it to crunch himself up a bit into a ball so that he will be small enough that he won't get wet in the small tight underground area? Once he takes a few moment to hover and then crunch up and be comfortable with that, he will lower himself down the hole. He will leave his backpack and bow and arrows up above. Only taking his rapier in hand. And the Elemental stone in his pocket if something horrible swims up and attacks him!
Eula stomps understanding for Jag and sends to Kroshav,
<So faster than you can run but not my fastest? Yep. Can do!>
Jaq bobs around in the air with his glowpants before heading in. He does a quick zoom around the room and notes nothing of interest. Heading back to the door he sees he's only got a few inches of clearance between the water and top of the door. He is going to need to get wet if he wants to leave this room.
A quick check of the water confirms that it is unpleasantly cold.
Jaq dips as little of himself as possible, which is unfortunately still most of him, before moving to what looks to be a hallway where he can get above the water again. His glowpants are completely soaked. The water is frigid.
Jag can see a half dozen doors to his left and right, and a quick check shows them to all be small, cramped rooms, 10' by 15'. The rooms are all empty except one that has some sort of metal fixture on the ceiling that looks mostly corroded away.
Zooming down the hall he comes to an intersection. To his left, below the water, he sees stairs down, to his right he sees rubble. Straight ahead it looks like more of the same, little rooms. Lots of them interspersed with an occasional bigger room like he entered.
((Roll me an investigation check please.))
Up top the large coil of rope moves at jerky intervals down the hole. Lurn would notice some smoke down in the forest, his guess would be from campfires. The chilling wind of the mountains hasn't abided either.
((Perception checks please.))

"Since I also already have a bow, I think it is a good idea that Kroshave also have a range weapon he can use."
Once the gear is all sorted the party find themselves at the hole. The dark water still below.
Eula stands with the party, a wand in her mouth. It's hard to tell since she is a horse, but she looks kind of embarrassed.
Kroshav looks proud, and gives her a nod of encouragement.

Eula nods her large horsy head.
He is not thrilled with the water level, he can't help himself, however.
He will take a deep breath and then do a quick, submerged move through the doorway, then back up to hopefully air space.
