Blink nods silently and moves to check out the adjoining room.

This room appears to be a wizard’s workshop. A rat scurries across the floor and takes refuge under a large worktable set up with alembics, retorts, distillation coils, and other alchemical devices, all of it stewing and bubbling away. Bookshelves are crowded with sheaves of parchment and strange-looking tomes. Blink takes he pick from the tomes and vial before returning to the others. 

 "We should get to the prisoners and get the hell out of here."

 "No arguments here!"

The party make their way back through the secret stairway and cross the storage room to the other passage. They take care to cover their tracks and Iarno is carried between Kara and Griell.

They find themselves in a narrow corridor with a locked door to their left and another door directly ahead of them.

 Blink examines the locked door. 

Investigation 16

She attempts to unlock it 17 the door swings open.

Racks of weapons line the walls of this chamber, including spears, swords, crossbows, and bolts. A dozen dirty red cloaks hang from hooks by the door.

"We should tell the Coster about this lot. They might give us a finders fee."

 "Or we could take it all now."

 "We do not have time."

 "I should lead the way now. The Redbrand spoke of undead guards this way."

 She pushes open the door. Three large stone sarcophagi stand within this dusty crypt, and propped up against each sarcophagus is a human skeleton clad in bits of rusty mail. False columns along the walls are carved in the image of spreading oak trees. The double doors in the southeast corner are sheathed in tarnished copper plate. The group move into the room watching the skeletons warily as they move toward the nearest door.

As they reach for the handle, the skeletons attack.

 "Damn it they are moving!"

She hides behind the others (Stealth 11) and fires her bow at the nearest skeleton.

Attack: 24 Damage: 10

 Kara swings Talon toward the skeleton.

Attack: 18 Damage: 5

The bones come rattling to the ground.

 One of the two remaining skeletons attacks Vishka and the other attacks Kara.

Attack: 15 Damage: 3 and Attack: 23 Damage: 7 

 Melandra sends a fire bolt toward the creature attacking Kara.

Attack: 13 Damage: 10

 Vishka clutches her holy symbol and channels divinity to cast turn undead.

Wisdom 18 and 6 

 Griell swings for the skeleton that wounded Kara.

Attack: 8 Damage: 8 she misses.

The doors near Vishka open and then slam closed again quickly. Cursing can be heard now within.

 Blink steps around Kara and attacks her opponent with her short swords.

Attack: 24 Damage: 8 and Attack: 12 Damage: 1

 Kara dances lightly to the side, putting the creature between herself and Griell.

Attack: 23 Damage: 9

With a mighty swing she obliterates it.

 Successfully turned by Griell the remaining skeleton retreats and passes through the far door.

 "Stand back everyone."

Melandra casts mage hand and uses it to open the nearby door. Two Rebrands are revealed within, panicked and armed.

 "Put down your weapons and you get to live." Vishka growls.

Intimidation : 13

 One Redbrand attacks Vishka, the other Griell as they charge outward.

Attack: 6 Damage: 5 and Attack: 15 Damage: 3 

AND

Attack: 10 Damage: 7 and Attack: 5 Damage: 7 

 "Stupid."
