Melandra releases a fire bolt

 Vishka draws down another sacred flame.

DEX Attack: 7 for 3 radiant damage.

The man is barley standing.

 Of the Redbrands that remain one attacks Griell in desperation and the other Kara. The third still teeters to the rear holding his attack for now.

Attack: 9 Damage: 3 and Attack: 15 Damage: 8 

Then

Attack: 6 Damage: 3 and Attack: 6 Damage: 8 

Kara is felled by her opponent!

 The prisoners gasp as Kara falls.

She passes her death saving throw.

 Blink attacks the man facing Griell.

Attack: 24 Damage: 11 and Attack: 15 Damage: 5

Cutting him down.

 Griell turns her attention to the remaining fighter.

Attack: 24 Damage: 6

She utterly destroys him with a crushing blow.

 Melandra sends a fire bolt to the remaining bandit.

Attack: 24 Damage: 10 he raises his hands in surrender but too late. She blows off his head.

 Blink snatches up a dropped coin purse that one of the men let fall.

 Griell feeds a potion of healing to Kara.

 "Gah! Thanks..."

Kara clambers to her feet.

 Melandra reaches down and plucks a spell book from Iarno's robes.

"Figured you must have one somewhere."

He stirs and she knocks him out with a whack to the head with his staff.

"Let's get out of here!"

The party make their way south to the hidden entrance. 70 and follow the tunnel to the forest beyond. 

Melandra hears movement ahead, "It's an ambush!"

 "Stoopid Goblin make too much noise!"

Outside; three bugbears and a lone goblin have snuck out ready to ambush the party as they leave.

 "Droop did not mean to!"

The Bugbear leader whacks him on the back of the head and he passes out.

 Blink fires an arrow from the shadows.

Attack: 17 Damage: 8

 Griell charges straight forward and attacks the wounded Bugbear.

Attack: 13 Damage: 7

She cuts it down before it can react.

 Melandra casts Cause Fear on the nearest Bugbear.

WIS 6 

The spell takes hold and she advances on the Bugbear with her staff held before her.

 The Bugbear she is threatening retreats before her. (WIS 15)

The other monster throws a javelin at her back Attack: 5 Damage: 10 but it sails harmlessly over her shoulder.

 Kara charges the javelin thrower.

Attack: 17 Damage: 6

 Vishka follows, swinging her mace.

Attack: 13 Damage: 5

The Bugbear however proves to be too nimble for their attacks.

 Blink runs in behind the Bugbear and attacks.

Attack: 25 Damage: 10 and Attack: 24 Damage: 5
